Description of Work: I paid Angie's $50 for an air conditioner tune up/diagnostic. Moore's then charged me $120 to install two fuses, which took less than 10 minutes to complete. I have researched fuses, and the cost looks between $4.00 to $16.00 per fuse. I feel really cheated. I questioned what I was getting for the deal I bought on Angie's, and was told the $50 was for the call, and the $120 for the fuses was on top of what I already paid Angie's. Moore's offered to install a $500 starter kit, to which I declined. The service man told me that if I did not buy the starter kit, my air conditioner may not continue to work. Maybe the $50 for the trip to my house is standard, but $120 for fuses that took 10 minutes to install for a total of $170? I can say my air conditioner works and the service man was punctual. I think Moore's should refund the $50 I paid Angie's list. I will NOT use them again.

Description of Work: I got an air conditioner check-up/tune-up. They said it didn't work and needed replacing. They gave me some verbal quotes for this. I asked for a written quote which they said I'd have the next day. I never got the written quote. I expected much more from a diamond certified company.

Description of Work: Used Angie's List coupon discount for annual AC tune-up. Two men spent between 30 and 60 minutes checking and adjusting a variety of items, cleaning the outside unit, etc, and they provided a complete report of the results. Second year I have had them do this, and I am very pleased with them. They are friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. | |Moore offers a contract service, including spring and fall HVAC tune-ups and discounts on other service, but I did not take that offer since I am still under a home warranty that includes HVAC problems. If/when I replace the my 30-year-old AC system, I will likely drop the home warranty and pick up the Moore service agreement, but the home warranty provides more complete coverage for failures that are inevitable with my ancient system. |

Description of Work: I purchased an older home knowing the furnace (original 1970) was going to go. The AC was already dead when I bought, and the water heater was probably 20 years old. So when the furnace died, I had Moore replace the entire bundle. They updated the venting under the house so that it is much more efficient, quiet and to code. They also installed really high tech gadgetry inside the venting structures to help create digital zones so that the upstairs, which bakes in the sun, isn't causing the much cooler downstairs to freeze on hot days. I am so delighted with all of the work. So professional, clean, prompt, affordable. I can't praise them highly enough.

Description of Work: They came to inspect my furnace and clean it out. It was making a weird noise. He fixed it to the best of his ability. He told me they don't make these heaters anymore and I can get a smaller one but he was not allowed to tell me how much it would cost. So someone called me and I didn't catch the phone call. I called the company and they couldn't find out who to talk to so I left a message and no one ever got back to me. So nothing was done. The service man was great but their business practices suck. Why can't the service person help me to completion. Why do I have to talk to someone else to get help? Why didn't someone who is his boss call me again after I called. Frustrating (not sure what date they were out)

Description of Work: It was fantastic. We have a maintenance contract with Moore Heating to service our heating and air conditioning units on a routine basis. This was the first time Brad performed our service and he did a superb job. He thoroughly went over every item on his check list with us. Moore is fairly priced and let you know if they find any problem but absolutely no high pressure whatsoever to attempt to sell you something.

Description of Work: The Moore employee was very professional, showed me and explained what he was doing and why, took before and after pictures, and made recommendations. I was very impressed with how the work was handled. Can't say about pricing because he came out under an Angie special. But I would definitely call Moore Heating if I needed something else accomplished.

I sure wish that you would have called in asking for an Owner or Manager prior to doing so to allow us an opportunity to make things right for you. That is still an option however.
