One of the two installations required extensive new ductwork. I was impressed by the depth of their knowledge regarding the technology, their commitment to choosing the right technology for the job, to perform a quality installation and to minimize the duration of the period during which we would be without heat.

Crunk's was a referral by a well-regarded contractor friend of ours. I called several times to have them out for a bid on our work, which was a big job for a residential customer. We needed all of our ducting, including our return replaced in a house we are remodeling. Each time I called, I was told that they are just so busy and they would do their best to get back to me. Then, after three phone calls over a week from me, I finally got a return call and we made an appointment, but not until after being told that they are just so busy. I began to get the idea that I was being a nuisance for wanting to hire them. Regardless, the appointment was set for the following week. They did not show up for our appointment, nor did they call to cancel ahead of time, nor afterward to apologize for the no-show. I just don't get it.

Very highly recommended! It is always great when you find an absolutely dependable repairman with years of experience instead of a newly employed apprentice of a large firm who is just learning the business! There was no "diagnostic" charge, no "travel time" charge. It was all included in the low $95 per hour Labor charge. He arrived promptly, on time, and tested to isolate the problem, and despite the cramped quarters, he uncomplainingly proceeded to take apart almost the entire furnace to get to the circuit board. Because of the age (over 10 years) of the furnace he had to return the next day with the difficult to find part. He returned promptly at the promised time, installed the part, reassembled the furnace and then remained to test it thoroughly and insure that it was working properly. Although I am sure that he worked well over 1 hour and the required return trip I was only charged a total of $95 for the labor involved.

We are purchasing a home and needed an inspection of the cooling system at short notice so that contingencies could be removed. With only one days notice Crunk's came and checked the entire system and found no problems. The response was great and the price was fair -- we're very satisfied and would use them again if any problems do occur.
