+ -1 moreThe first time we used him, he was very good. He recommended a great painter so we decided to use him for our kitchen remodeling project. He is good at doing the framing kind of work, but does not excel with the finishing. The price he quoted me was 12,000.00 not including the materials. There was a wiring issue with a circuit that I had never had an issue with. After I discovered this problem, I concluded that the man who had worked on this circuit was not a licensed electrician. This electrical issue cost me an additional $300.00 to correct. There were additional problems that I pointed out to him, and he was not willing or able to correct those issues after the project was completed.
Description of Work: We hired him to remodel our kitchen.

+ -1 moreHe Sounded nice on the phone. We made appointment 4 days out. My husband and I BOTH left out jobs to be home by sceduled time. We were home 15 minutes early. When Ronald Smith didn't show up, my husband looked to the front porth to see if he had come at all??????? A blank card was left, 45 MINUTES BEFORE the scheduled appointment time, so now we knew he had already been there, EARLY...???? After I checked my cell phone, I found a message from him (one hour before our scheduled time- with little notice even if I had gotten the call when I was at work)...where he did ask if it was OK to come by early since it was more convenient ... I had not gotten that call and Ronald decided on his own, to just blow us off. My husband left a message on his phone at 1:05 (5 minutes past when we expected him) and he never called back! I left a nice message also, same day to let him know that we would be home all of the rest of the afternoon if he planned to come by a little late...???? NO REPLY. To this date, HE NEVER CALLED US BACK. We had a two bathroom remodel job we wanted him to bid. Perhaps a bigger job came along..? NOT GOOD.

+ 0 moreMy job was a very small, one day job. But Alpha Omega was eager and willing to take it on in the midst of other, larger jobs they were doing. Isaac showed up exactly at the time scheduled.. He did a first class, quality job. He was very courteous and professional. Nice to interact with. Required little to no supervision in completing his job. Impeccable workmanship. Left no cleanup afterward. Did not require a call back to finish up any portions of the job. Definitely did it right the first time! Great job! Next time I need a contactor, I will contact Alpha Omega builders.
Description of Work: Inspection of outside of house second story. Looked for signs of leakage, mold, plugged gutters, bad caulking, or areas in need of paint. Did caulking and touch-up painting on all siding seams and windows, where needed. Repainted entire shutters on one window.

+ 0 moreIt went very well. The workers knew what to do and got it done in good time, but did not scrimp on quality. I was very pleased and happy with the total of the two jobs they did for me.
Description of Work: Repair of water damage from pipe leak to 2 rooms. Moved electrical and plumbing in laundry room to increase size and workability. Ron Brown the contractor had some good suggestions and they proved to be very helpful in my decision making. Tiled and insulated rooms, sheet rock & textured, painted and put in finish trim. All looked great when finished. So I then hired him to do a bathroom remodel. They removef the tub (it had been there for 40+ years, and put in a new stall shower with tile, new toilet and sink. It made the room so much larger and is a beautiful bathroom now. The work this contractor does and expects from his workers is beyond great!! They were always here on time when they said they would be here, and always left the jobs clean and orderly when leaving for the day. They performed all of the work with minimal power and water off times and always let me know when they were going to be having to turn either one off and how long it would need to be off. And it was always back on when they said it would be too. All in all they did excellent work, and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a first class job and an honest job.
