Sarah Beck Painting

Our kitchen looks great. Very durable paint job. Flawless. Contractor managed the work before we moved in so I did not interact with the painters, just appreciate a job very well dpne.

Good. She recommended checking out roof first to make sure moisture source was fixed first (which we foolishly did not do because of time constraints). Unfortunately, it rained two days after they finished and efflorescence returned pronto. So we then called roofer who found a bad roof job was indeed allowing moisture in around chimney joint. But other than that, the paint job was great and fast. Sarah and her team are upbeat and can-do and respectful. I have used her in the past and will use her again in the future. I highly recommend her.

We planned carefully with Sarah. She coordinated all subcontractors and ensured that the entire project was completed on time (less than a month) and within budget.

The project came out as we had hoped. Sarah is very professional. Everything was done on time and according to specifications. Sarah even provided help picking the colors.

Sarah, her son and the crew did an A++ job. I am planning on using them when I need to do more painting.

She is good. Her team is good and they clean up afterwards. If you find something wrong they will come back and fix it no problem.

She does very good work. She is very quick. And installed our mantel so we would have it before Christmas. She has done a very nice job!

Sarah met me at the agreed upon time to give me an estimate. I got one other estimate and picked Sarah--the other estimate was equivalent to hers, but chose her over the other based on a friend’s recommendation. The apartment became vacant on the 31st. Her crew began work by papering all the hard-wood floors and patching walls. They finished in 4 days, as agreed upon. The new tenant moved in the day after. Everything went like clockwork. Sarah’s son met me on the last day to review the work and do touch-ups. The service was extremely professional.

Her work was great, her crew was great and the overall experience could not have been better. The were even unfazed by our two large dogs. This is our third time using Sarah for work on our house, and we will do it again soon.

Used another painting contractor who could do the job when I needed it to be done.

They did a fine job. They went above and beyond with preparing the surfaces for painting. I had composite siding that needed to be patched, and the old paint needed to be stripped off. They did all of that. They sanded it down where it needed to be sanded. They puttied and filled flaws in the siding where it needed to be done. I wasn't here when they did the painting, but the neighbors said they did most of the work by hand. They were all very impressed. I think the work looks like a million dollars.

She is a design and painting contractor. She is very personable. The team is very good at cleanup and they don't leave a mess around so we were not in a disaster every night. They do a great job and it is beautiful even though we are breathing all the noxious fumes. The price wasn't the cheapest but it was very good service. They are absolutely fabulous.

I liked her a lot. She was very good. As far as our interactions are concerned, she was very responsible. She sent me an estimate and references. If I was doing only the one part that she looked at I would have used her, but I wanted to paint the entire house painted so I went with the contractor.

First email - no response. Second email - immediate response. After indicating they would set up a time to come by to give an estimate, I never heard back. The outgoing message on their voicemail is an abrupt, "Leave a message." Very disappointed.

Sarah showed up promptly for our initial meeting. I could tell she's a woman that solves problems and gets things done. She has great energy, enthusiasm and can-do attitude. I interviewed several painters and I knew I would be in the best hands with her. Her and her crew are amazing. They work hard and do a great job. Sarah is always figuring out the best process for the particular material to be painted or stained. She puts in a lot of thought, research and expertise. She is very nice and professional. All areas that she worked on were beautiful and perfect. There were a couple sanding/painting touch-ups and some clean-up that I had to take care of afterwards on areas that the crew worked on, but overall everything was good. (This project was over a year ago. I just renewed my membership so was finally able to post this and check it off my list of things to do!)

We wanted someone to come in and quickly paint the newly installed baseboards and to do touch up paint on some walls. Several guys came over and the job was done quickly, in two days, like we wanted. They were clean, fast and detail oriented.

We wanted to go with someone local and found Sarah though Angie's List and it was a great choice. Thank you. Between the bid and starting the job it was less than a week and then the job itself went much quicker than I thought. Everything was masked out, painted, touched up, cleaned up and put back together with great care. Sarah did a great job in giving everything a personal touch on all levels, which was very unusual and very much appreciated. She personally came and did the bid and then oversaw the execution of the job itself through to its final completion all the while giving us regular updates by phone. When we saw the finished product we could not have been happier. It wasn't a complex job, but having painted many a house in the past myself to save money, I could see how much better of a job they did than I could have ever done. So worth it to me.

They got the color right, and they were very accommodating. They were also very helpful. There were a few places that needed touch up, and they have called to make an appointment to fix it, but I need to call them back now.

The crew was prompt and performed the work in a very careful and professional manor. We had done some small drywall repairs so those areas were primed before the finish coat, and they fixed places where there were cracks. There were enough workers to get the job done in a very short period of time. I was impressed with how neat, tidy and polite they all were. Sarah quoted $850 for the job, but in the end I paid $750 because I wanted to use Benjamin Moore paint. I purchased it myself, since she doesn't get much of a discount for that brand. Sarah made sure that I was happy with the job before she left. She had gone steps beyond what I expected by painting areas that were not included in the scope of the work just so that it would all look good.

Sarah was busy but very responsive and she came herself twice at times that suited us, once at the weekend. She also provided guidance, which we needed, while taking account of our input. She got back to us vial email with a quote which stayed fairly consistent with her original estimate. She estimated a week's worth of work and was completely finished in 4 days. She and her team were punctual and were great about moving the larger items of furnishings or working around them and leaving everything shipshape at the end of the day. We have 2 dogs and 2 kids so having access to the kitchen was important and she and her team were great about this. They replaced all the furniture at the end and even hung back up a large mirror. Sarah checked in with us by phone in the evening to see how things were going and if we were happy. They were and amazingly clean and tidy team and it was great coming home a the end of the day and seeing the progress. Really really happy with the whole process and the final outcome.

I called, left a message and described the project and the location. No return phone call.

I actually found this company on Angie's List. I have recommended her company to about three of my friends already because the crew that she sent out did such a great job. I am very happy with the quality of their work.
