George Parks, the owner of the Company, is very professional, with great communication skills. His quote was the best of three that I received. Explained every step of the process and was present on the job site most of the time. He addressed all my concerns and issues regarding down spouts etc. Did not even demand payment until the whole project was completed, left the place clean and neat. Highly recommend A+++

Communication was great. George called me daily with updates and his crew worked efficiently and did a thorough cleanup. He even provided a few extras such as touchup paint and additional attic vents that weren’t in the original contract.

I got 6 quotes for exterior paint of my rental property in Westwood. I got lower quotes from others but the fact that he can do the gutters AND the exterior paint meant less coordinating for me from afar. He also said he’d come almost daily to check on the progress and even FaceTimed me several times so I can see the progress was EXACTLY what I needed. Easy to reach and delivered what he promised! Highly recommend!!!

Very professional and with good follow up. This is the second time I've used the company. The first time was 8 years ago on a previous residence and I never had any problems with that roof. I feel if there was ever an issue or question, they would be quick with a text or visit to address it.

I called George to repair my roof and he came over right away. He indicated that my roof was in general good shape and just needed repairs. George was able to do the work in soon after the estimate. All through the process, during the work, and after the work was completed, George was always in touch and kept me informed. He was at my home several times while his crew did the work. He always asked if I had any questions or issues. Professional in every way.

George Parks checked in with us nearly every evening to update us on the progress and let us know the plan for the next day. His customer service was excellent. We assume the roof is excellent too -- won't really know until the first big rainstorm.

George Parks and all of the men who work for him were very kind, professional, considerate, and friendly. All were a breath of fresh air - a much needed commodity after being self-quarantined because of the cruel thing of Covid-19 that is still threatening our world.

I am writing this review for two jobs George Parks Roofing and Painting completed at my home in Los Angeles. The first was complete roof replacement – something I knew was on the horizon for some time … our roof was 20 + years old and we finally got a leak in December 2019. At the time of our leak, we were in a tough spot… rains were a bit relentless and more was to come. We called a few roofers and got only their answering machines. We called George and he immediately responded and within an hour came over to our house to assess the damage. At that time, he told me what was likely needed and how we could patch the leak, but I knew more rains were coming and I pushed to have the leak patched at that moment. George thought about it for a minute, then asked me where the nearest Home Depot was -- that he would be back within the hour. He came back and patched up our roof – not just the area with the leak, but everywhere… He warned me at that time that this would not be a ‘fix’ but a patch and that I would likely need my entire roof replaced at some point in the near future (it was time). I was more than grateful – AND his patch got us through the remainder of the rainy season. Recently (April) I gave George another call and said we were ready to do a full roof replacement and also wanted to paint the exterior of our house. George immediately responded, showed up to our house (in full COVID-19 protective mask and gloves), gave me an estimate overall. I knew George ran a tight ship reading many reviews on Angie’s list, elsewhere. AND I had not forgotten how he saved our butts in December - knew from that experience that George would take care of business. Our roof was entirely replaced in 2 days (1600 + sq.ft house), exterior painting took 2.5 days… both crews were highly-professional, thoughtful, courteous and knew exactly what they were doing – vetted craftsmen. During the painting process, I realized that I had given George the wrong info on paint color (!) – he essentially dropped what he was doing and met me at Home Depot to be sure we got the right stuff together so there was no additional confusion or delay. I was in constant communication with George via texting or phone call, he kept me up-to-date regarding the projects and easily answered any questions I had. We had several conversations over the course of the work week regarding attention to detail, quality of work, hiring the right people, on and on. George is a busy guy, but someone who cares greatly about not only efficiency, but quality. These are factors you cannot ignore when you are seeking to have strangers work on your home. My wife and I are immensely pleased with the results. This was not necessarily a bargain or discounted cost, but we paid a reasonable price for what we received – highly knowledgeable, experienced work which was orchestrated efficiently and thoughtfully. You get what you pay for – we got great work by excellent craftsmen.

George Parks attended to my immediate concerns over rain damage to my kitchen by having his crew put up a tarp to preserve further damage. When the rains stopped they repaired a section of my tile roof. Another crew replaced my existing rain gutters and down spouts. George was at all times a gentleman and his crews were superb.

George and his entire crew went far above and beyond. They were respectful, hardworking, and caring. They traced and found the source of a mysterious roof leak that skipped the top two floors and came out of the first floor light cans. He checked in before and after, repaired my roof with the highest quality of materials, and cleaned my gutters. They are leak detectives and professionals!

George was great. Lots of communication and understanding. As a landlord who doesn’t live in the same city as this rental property, it can be very stressful trying to find great contractors that you can trust. George came as a strong recommend from a friend and now I pass that along and strongly recommend him to anyone in need of roofing with great customer service!

Just so happened that George was in the neighborhood doing a job, so he came by within an hour or so. George was very professional, knowledgeable, thorough and offered reasonable information. After a brief discussion of what needed to be done, I pushed to do the job asap - we are expecting rain in a day or two (even possibly that night). He made a quick call, rescheduled a prior commitment and offered to take care of the job right there and then. He then went and bought some supplies, was soon back and patched not only the concerning area, but sealed all cracks and seals around venting, skylights and drains, and even painted some rusty vent covers (all work that George recommended, but I could see needed to be done). His work was excellent, he was very thorough and at no time did I feel George was not being entirely honest with me or was not offering good information. He did mention that, as owner of the company, he is most often the person dealing with quotes and initial inspections, etc - and that his crew usually takes care of the work to follow. But, he could see that we needed help now and I certainly appreciate that was willing to jump in there and help us at such a high level.

I must say George Parks was a refreshing difference from all the contractors we had quoted from. Out of the 5 contractors that bid for us, George, as the sole proprietor, came out and gave us straight forward, no-nonsense bid. He was methodical in his site inspection work and gave us a best case scenario of how the ideal roof repair was supposed to go. He wasn't slick or gimmicky with pricing. I knew right away this guy took a ton of pride in his family's tradecraft. He also built into the pricing to account for unexpected surprises like wood damage and he was also willing to work with me on pricing when our actual roof dimensions was larger than the estimate I provided for him on area, which consequently meant more materials needed to finish the project. George pulled all the necessary permits and handled all the city paperwork. The project took about 7-10 days to complete which included exterior paint, decking repair, stucco repair, wood repair and restoration. His crew showed up on time and kept the site very clean. George served as foreman and was there every single day without fail. We spent 30 minutes each day with a work in progress walk around and updates whenever a major phase was completed. At all times, he was keeping an eye on the quality control and ferrying supplies to keep the crews working on schedule. His crews are experienced, polite, and punctual. In the end, he cleaned up the site better than he left it. The house now looks brand new and the painting looks immaculate. He was the right combo of services for us. We had hard to paint areas (like the chimney and high rooftop trims) and the fact we had coordinated with the roofing schedule, the outcomes were better than if they were done in piecemeal. The painters were able to reach difficult areas that would have required scaffolding but since we did the roof at the same time, they were able to integrate access to hard areas seamlessly in the schedule. This was a significant repair for us but I felt I had my money well spent on all the work that needed to be done. He was fair, honest, punctual, transparent, and experienced. He stood firm on his quote with no up-sells. He budgeted for allowances for unseen surprises within reason. He also stood behind his workmanship. A+ work.

George Parks replaced West LA rental home roof, was prompt, responsive; met commitments w. high quality work. Foreman/crew professional, clean-up good. Completed on schedule, LA permit/inspection handled well. Communication was straight-forward, good tenant interaction. Would use again with 9 other roofs we have in LA/OC.

He went above and beyond in dealing with a city inspector that was promblematic.

George explained what was needed and his crew did a good job installing the roof. He pulled a permit the same day we spoke and went above and beyond dealing with an unreasonable building inspector. He's a straight shooter and delivers as promised.
