The owner, Jamie Donovan, was very easy to work with and accomodating to all our needs and requests. His crew did an excellent job and they were quick. They were also easy to work with and made sure to get my input and/or approval when decisions had to be made during construction. The job site was always left neat and clean at the end of the day. We had a 6 foot block wall built between the back yard and the alley with a 2 foot lattice on top. There are many houses on our alley that have block walls with lattice - Mster Masonry lattice construction is superior to all of the them. We also are having a pedestrian gate and an electric driveway gate installed. This necessitated Master Masonry coordinating with the gate company. Both companies worked with each other superbly. I am very pleased to have used Master Masonry and I would not hesitate a moment to use them again in the future.

As part of a bid to install walls around our property, this contractor included a $5,126 line-item to demolish and backfill our old pool. We accepted James' bid on Oct. 17 to fill the pool (while the wall bid was still under consideration). However, we couldn't get him to give us a contract and start the work! Weeks went by before he finally went to Planning on Nov. 3 to pull the permit, but the one he pulled was insufficient and he wanted to charge us an extra $400 for it. Then James tried to claim he never agreed to remove the entire pool or compact the soil properly even though we had his agreement in writing. Haven't heard from him since.

Can only say positive things about Master Masonry, did a fabulous job very professional, James knew what to do, figured out the best and least expensive way to fix my problem, he was also reasonable. I did use him for another job as well. Five star plus ******
