If Predatory pricing is for you-so is Enviro Plumbing! I was 1 day out of Heart Surgery, & lost the H2O Heater. I was charged $2065.00 to replace a 40 Gallon Tank in an outside Water closet...easy access. I did try to get an explanation, & Itemized account, to no avail.

My house is nearly 100 years old and it's exterior is poured concrete. Most contractors are afraid to touch it. I have been using Enviro Plumbing for at least 20 years. You can't do better. They are responsive, professional, honest, friendly and clean.

They fixed it and more. They were extremely competent. I was very pleased.

Leaks are mysterious, maddening and anxiety provoking. Enviro was super helpful in figuring out the exact problems and how to repair them. They even helped with other non-plumbing tasks related to fully completing the job, so everything was as good as new. Integrity is not something you associate with many plumbers . Enviro was helpful and reassuring through the maddening leak process.

Daniel then proceeded to say that his guys did not snake my bathroom drain because it was not listed in the invoice. I explained that his guys did do the bathroom even if he did not have it listed in the invoice. He then said that the 6 weeks between the 2 calls meant that they would not provide a complimentary service call even though their invoice said their work was covered for a month. I explained my delay in calling again. Daniel said he didn't believe me on both counts: 1. They did not snake my bathroom drain. 2. They didn't believe that the clog reappeared within 2 weeks, well within the coverage period. He was very rude to me when I asked him point blank if he thought I was lying. He said yes. And then hung up on me. There are a lot of other plumbers to use so I would recommend using a service where the owner does not accuse his customers of lying and won't stand by their service. Rudeness is unacceptable. Stay away from Enviro!!!!

Daniel answered his phone himself (no voicemail!), and was able to squeeze me in between appointments because he was in the area. So my emergency clogged toilet (only one bathroom in a house with a baby!) was unclogged within 30 minutes of my phone call and I didn't have to pay extra. He also explained why my toilet was clogging (the lining on the toilet itself was coming off), and recommended the best replacement toilet (and replacing the toilet would mean I wouldn't need his plumbing services in the future). Courteous, professional, and speedy!

I had a clogged bathroom sink/drain - Danny was great, he squeezed me in same day between two other jobs, was very polite, fireindly and even gave me some tips to avoid having same problem in future.

Enviro Plumbing re-plumbed my bathroom to convert a soaking tub area into a shower with a remote valve, thermostat, and two shower heads. My contractor was very impressed with them - they were very thorough and did the job as promised without any hassles. What made our experience even better was that we passed our rough plumbing inspection with flying colors. The inspector even noted how professional the work was!! Thank you Enviro Plumbing, my contractor will be calling in a few weeks to have you come out and plumb my new sink!

It went great. Their perseverence, expertise got the system working well. The whole process was helped by their good-natured personalities, professionalism, enthusiasm to teach us what we needed to know to use the system well. The price they charged also seemed very reasonable.

Super - responsive and reliable.

It went perfectly, as always. We have used Enviro Plumbing for ten years. They are always friendly, honest, professional and timely. We have had them install drinking water systems, fix drains, add cleanouts, put in water heaters. They are most knowledgeable and professional. We now live in another state and trust them to go to our home in Los Angeles and do the work without our being there.

The company was unresponsive when emailed at the address listed on Angie's list. Their profile listed "SOLAR HOT WATER SYSTEMS, SOLAR RADIANT HEAT SYSTEMS". I sent an inquiry to confirm that they performed solar hot water heater installations and asked for a quote. 2 weeks later, still no reply. As I am a busy mom, it is difficult for me to call around to get quotes, so I depend on email as a means of communication with contractors.

I first contacted the only hydronic radiant heat folks I could find (Enviro Plumbing) in April and began what became a barrage of emails and phone calls. It took 5 months of badgering to get a quote. 5 months! In that time, I looked on over 80 websites and got quotes from several companies in NM and AZ to get an idea of cost, since Enviro Plumbing was so sluggish with the info. Everything indicated that it would cost between $4000 and $6000 for a home twice the size of ours. We wanted get our heating system installed before winter. I started laying the ground work for this project in April and thought that I had plenty of time. The quote finally came in. It was – gulp – $13,400!!! (This included a hybrid water heater since a tankless halves their warranty.) Wow. I did not see that coming. Time to regroup. Time to rethink. Time to buy some space heaters and tackle this project in May. They essentially pushed our home renovation back an entire year.

I love these guys. When I was a property manager I used them for big jobs, and was always pleased with the professionalism and work done. Since I wasn't paying the bills I couldn't really comment on price. Now that I own my own home, hiring Daniel and Darrin was a no-brainer since I already trusted them, but still, I've been very impressed with the time and care they've taken, even with my relatively small jobs. When I was buying the house Darrin came out and did an inspection for me, identifying likely issues that the house had. He discovered galvanized piping that the previous owners hadn't even known about- which helped me get a price reduction since the home had been advertised as all copper- and pointed out various issues that weren't serious now, but could become more severe with time. Also, since I'm very interested in green improvements, we discussed potential upgrades and green features that would, or wouldn't work, in this location. Most recently (when stew was poured down the toilet- of course Really clogging it) some of their workers came out to unclog the pipe. Since I don't have a cleanout valve (one of the other issues they had identified during the inspection) they got to the clog by removing my toilet. When I checked the progress in the middle of the job I was a little terrified to see my toilet sitting in the bathtub while yards of metal rope cranked into the floor- it was loud and messy! About half an hour later they asked for some Commet & the bathroom scrub-brush, and when I checked back, my toilet was perfectly back in it's place with a new clean seal & the whole room was clean! They even fixed the toilet handle-or I guess the flushing mechanism (?) Before I had to hold the handle up and it seemed to use Way too much water. Now it flushes normally. Nice guys, clean, polite, professional.

This company came with my general contractor and was great. They were very efficient and clean. They helped creatively solve a few of our tricky water heater issues which is how we ended up with the tankless solution. They are great but mostly do new construction or addition work only, in other words it was disappointing to find out that they really don't do repair work.
