These guys are pros! They took great care of me and my family. They moved us out of a 1200 sq ft house to our new home 5 minutes away and got it all done in 8 hours. They were incredibly careful with all objects and nothing was damaged. Super courteous and clean!

It went great. There were two men who worked swiftly and intelligently. They were polite and held doors open for me. They worked efficiently and were respectful. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Unloading went pretty well. It was opening boxes later to find things broken that they did not take responsibility for was our major complaint. Plus they are the movers who packed it to begin with! For example, a pedestal sink broken in pieces. Took pictures and received no feedback or reply

The work team was very professional, very focused, very quick and wrapped up appropriately. Their pricing on the surface is a bit more expensive but other companies will charge extras which they don't so the price comes out and they are equal. My only gripe with them is that there was no followup after the move so I don't know what my final bill actually is. The movers were very good but there was one breakage and the company has not gotten back to me about that. The movers were very good and careful but followup from company management.

These guys were amazing. They arrive don't time, and packed everything. The were so helpful, kind, and courteous. They were careful and fast. It was the smoothest move I have ever had. Every time I asked for another complications, the answer was "no problem." I would not hesitate to use them again! Thanks Eric, Sean, Carlos, and the guys!

I couldn't use my Bid Deal but my experience was good. They were nice but couldn't store my care due to damage.

The storage facility did not open until 9am, but my movers showed up on the dot at 7:30AM and were ready to load. They loaded the items into their truck, covered them with blankets and proper packing filming, and took great care in handling our valuables. When we arrived at the storage facility, we had to wait an hour for the place to open. Since we had paid for 2-hour minimum, there was no extra charges, however, the movers were patient and friendly and waited inside their truck until the facility opened. Once open, they moved our belongings inside within minutes, carefully loading it all so it was easy-access to the storage unit. We highly recommend these men and moving company. The employees were kind, patient, gracious and polite and never made us feel like we were wasting their time or asking too much of them. Thank you, 123 Moving.

From the start it was destined to be a long day. The truck wouldn?t fit in the driveway and the 8-hour move turned into 12. Throughout the day, Jason made sure everything was handled with finesse. He sprung into action, sent for another truck and never lost his smile or sense of humor. The crew never stopped and barely took water breaks. They were amazing! At the end of the day, after everything was completely unloaded, Jason tallied up the expenses. It was considerable. Then, he crossed off all the supplies and cut the labor down to almost what we had started with. He was fair (almost too fair) and professional and NEVER held us over a barrel. With 50% more time, plus overtime and hundreds of dollars in supplies, we paid just slightly more than our starting price and I could not believe any mover could be so incredibly reasonable. Two weeks later, when we realized we had too much ?stuff,? I called Jason again and he took care of an Interstate move for me as well. Again, he was professional, fairly priced and extremely accommodating. I have referred 123 Moving to many people and know of others who have had wonderful experiences with them. Be forewarned: 123 Moving could actually give the moving industry a good name! If you want peace-of-mind and the highest rated professionals, these are the guys to call. It was (forgive me for this), a ?moving experience1?

They sent out someone to inspect the apartment to be moved and that went very well. Professional and courteous and all that good stuff. They volunteered that they would give me an estimate by noon the next day. Since the next day was Friday, when 2pm rolled around and I still didn't have an estimate, I called them and had the actual estimate by around 3:30pm. I got estimates from several other movers, too. The estimate from 123 was about the same as the others for the actual move, but the packing labor was higher than anyone else's, the packing materials charges were higher than everyone else's, and the valuation charges were illegally, high. Furthermore, the packing materials charges were not included in the Not To Exceed (NTE) price, which means they could go even higher on move day. Everyone else included all the charges in the NTE price from the start. About the valuation charges: When you move, you have the option of purchasing what I would call insurance but for some technical reason is called "valuation". Whatever you call it, you pay extra money so that if your items are damaged by the movers you get reimbursed for the damage done based on the value of the item damaged. How much you get paid depends on what valuation you purchase. The most expensive kind of coverage is called "Full Value" coverage and it pays up to whatever it would cost to replace the item (as opposed to what your used item would be worth if you tried to sell it). You have to purchase coverage for the entire value of the goods being moved, so if all your stuff combined would cost $20,000 to replace, you have to buy $20,000 worth of coverage. The quality of the coverage (in terms of actually getting paid on claims) varies greatly, with most insurers working very hard to find a loophole to avoid paying, so it's still a gamble, but at least if the truck crashes and burns you've got some coverage and if they obviously break something very expensive you have some recourse. Better moving companies try to work with you directly to settle smaller claims and 123 may be one of them in this regard, but still that quote was outrageous. Like many things regarding household moving, the valuation coverage is regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission. The maximum amount a moving company is allowed to charge for Full Value valuation is $1.50 per $100 of valuation (set in "Maximum Rate Tariff 4" Item 136). So for $20,000 that would be $1.50 * ($20,000 / $100) which is $300. 123's quoted price is $5 or $100, or $1,000 for the same $20,000 of coverage, more than 3 times the legal limit. I emailed them a copy of the page of the tariff that set out the maximum rates and asked again for them to give me an NTE estimate that included packing materials and valuation coverage at a legal rate. Their response: "Thank you for pointing out our error in the valuation rates. The valuation rates that Sean sent was outdated and we have revised it accordingly." EXCEPT that they did not, in fact, send me new valuation rates and they did not send me a new estimate and they did not address my concern that packing materials were not included in the NTE amount. Also, I have no idea what they mean by "outdated": The tariff was adopted in 1998, the current valuation rates went into effect January 10, 2013 (21 months ago) and the valuation rates were lower in the past not higher. I don't know when it would have been legal to charge $5 per $100. I feel like they tried to overcharge me by substantial amounts in sneaky ways that had I not been vigilant I would not have caught until it was too late. The overcharge for valuation was over $2,000, the packing materials about double what other companies quoted, and at this point there was still no cap on the eventual packing materials charges. While they did continue to work with me to resolve my concerns , they p***** me off by taking several rounds of back and forth before I could get them to give me an all-inclusive Not To Exceed number, one that included the packing materials and CPUC compliant valuation charges. When they finally did it was more than 40% higher than the estimate I finally went with, which as from A Better Way to Move, an company with a solid A rating on Angie's list. You could say they worked hard to win my business, but from my perspective I had to work hard to get them to make me a firm offer, and after all that work the price was so much higher that I just couldn't see how it would be worth it. The only reason I put so much effort into this was that they could move me on the weekend while the other company was booked and I was going to have to take time off work so they could move me on weekdays, but even with that advantage they were too overpriced.

They were excellent and the value of work I received compared to the price I paid was perfect. I had no issues.

Efficient, careful, professional -- all done quickly & well.

I recently moved out of a large house into a smaller one and found I needed more outdoor storage for the overflow. It would only be temporary so buying a $1000-$2000 shed didn't make sense for me. So I went looking for alternative solutions. If all you need is a small storage container, or two, this is the best deal out there. I used a 2 for 1 coupon to cover the first 2 months' rental of $69/mo. The main competitor, Pods, is more expensive (twice the cost and up) but they have larger containers that are better constructed. Both companies charge a delivery/pickup fee. But 123 costs $49 both ways, and Pods charges $79 each way. Also, 123 was able to deliver the next day, whereas Pods needed about a week. I went with 123. You also have the option of having them pick up the loaded container and storing it at their warehouse. Or in my case, I opted to keep it on my property so I have regular access to the contents. There is no difference in the cost either way. So far I'm happy with the service and don't anticipate any problems. Highly recommended!

I called their dispatcher at 2PM and asked about possibility of moving last minute as my other plans fell through. He got back to me 10 minutes later after checking on his trucks about availability and said they could come in less than 2 hours. Two guys showed up and they helped packing with my own boxes and move everything into their truck. They were friendly and great to work with and worked very fast. Their prices are Fair - about average for moving companies in the area. They charge extra for boxes and mattress wrap - I didn't need any so that was no problem. Shrink wrap and tape is provided. They will, however use their own moving blanket to protect your items.

I scheduled the moving date with Shaun. Erick, Ricky, and Roberto came in on time. They quickly started picking our boxes and placing them on their truck. They were very friendly and accommodating. They also helped us out placing the furniture in the right places we wanted them in the house. Overall, our experience was pleasant. What I would have done differently is packing all my stuff and be more ready when the movers came in. Basically we had them pack our living room, while I finished packing my bedroom and my husband was packing the office and moving things into our cars. Maybe our move would have cost less. Still, we were a bit shocked that moving a two bedroom home so close totaled 6 hours 25 min. Another point of reference is our previous two moves. We move with a very high end company and the difference in the promptness and packing materials was significant. Regardless, overall a good experience and will recommend them if you are totally ready on the day of the move to ensure things move as fast as they can.

All went very well. 3 men arrived on time, saw what had to be done and did it in record time. They were professional and helpful. I highly recommend them.

They were amazing. They were super flexible, prompt, amazing and nothing was broken. They came and packed the house and moved me in one day, just like they said they would. Everything got here and nothing was broken. They didn't mess around with me on the price; what they quoted was the price.

They will be doing the move on Saturday. They were very professional and they gave me some good information. They were very thorough and they explained everything and had all of the forms that were necessary. The guy that came out was the owner and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He was very helpful and encouraged me to get more quotes. He made me feel very comfortable. I will be moving across the country.

I ordered two storage pods. They were the perfect size to fit through my gate on the driveway. The pods were delivered on time and put exactly where I wanted them. The doors opened wide which made moving our belongings in very easy. When we no longer needed the storage units I called and they were picked up. The entire procedure was painless.

We ended up using 123 twice in four months. They show up on time, are INCREDIBLY organized and are a really great bunch of guys. We had them move my parents out of a five bedroom house they'd been living in for 40 years. Then my wife and I used them to move us out of an apartment we had been living in for five years. Both time they were excellent. They professionally packed everything that needed to be packed and moved the things we needed moved and stored the things we needed stored. We just moved to Hawaii so they're also going to handle all the logistics of moving all our stuff in storage to the island and into our new house. I'm even using them to store my truck that I'm keeping back on the mainland. All in all, they are a one-stop solution for moving and storage. HIGHLY recommended.

123 arrived early and got the job done efficiently. They took good care of our stuff and did an excellent job unloading/packing our furniture/boxes into our garage. They did a great job packing it efficiently so that we still had room to get around. Also provided suggestions on how to protect stuff if we planned on storing longer term. Overall a very positive experience.
