Description of Work: We have an arched window in the front of our house and with the heavy rains, it leaked.

Description of Work: We got 3 bids to have 3 windows in our home replaced. We chose Specialty Glass partly because they were competitively priced, but also because they listened to my needs and concerns and informed me about retractable screens for doors, which we ended up purchasing as well. Michael was very easy and comfortable to work with, and our job was finished in the time frame he gave us.

Description of Work: Specialty Glass replaced two windows on a detached patio room for us with two vinyl windows each having sliding vent panels at the base. These were very old windows with frames that had seen much better days. In 2002, the man who did this work for us (Jim Hale) had also been the person who installed new vinyl double paned double hung windows on the farmhouse (next to the patio room) that had been built in 1925. Specialty Glass has very competent people who do exceptional work and are easy to work with.

Description of Work: We had Specialty glass of Santa Maria replace the windows in our home with Milgard slide-in's. They replaced a sliding glass door and nine windows in our older, late 60's built house. We had a very old type of single pane window and the new ones are sealed double pane. The business owner came out to measure and gather the info required to provide us an estimate. We bombarded him with questions about the various products, the process and timeline. He was very patient and answered every question in the detail necessary to help us understand what was involved. He said he could provide references and viewing opportunities once we had decided on the specific type of window we wanted. We made that decision and called him, received an address and drove by. The windows and frames were striking from the street. We knocked on the door, explained our situation and the lady of the house happily invited us in to view the windows from the inside. She was very satisfied with every aspect of her transaction with this company and raved about the boss, his crew and the product. After that experience, we felt reassured we had found the "right" company and ordered the windows. The installation went without a hitch and took a day and a half to complete (the sliding glass door required significant effort since the opening wasn't square). All the windows were in at the end of the first day. The following half day was spent on caulking and trimming.
