On The Mark Home Inspectors

Horrible mistake hiring On the Mark Home Inspectors. Mark Kelly missed a 1 inch wide foundation crack on his report. After I closed escrow I noticed a 1 in wide foundation crack that went through the entire footing. I would have never purchased the home if Mark would have included this in the Inspection Report. I received a couple estimates in the $31,000 range from 2 reputable foundation repair companies. I also had a manometer study done on the house and it indicated the floor in the house was sloping approximately 2 inches from front to back. I asked Mr. Kelly to run it through his insurance company which he refused to do. He will not respond and is only speaking through his attorney. We just want our home repaired. Do not hire On The Mark Home Inspectors!

Horrible decision hiring Mark Kelly! He will have cost me tens of thousands of dollars for FAILING to IDENTIFY a fundamental slope and drainage issue with my than prospective property, which I surely would not have purchased if he would have done his job properly. Furthermore he violated his home inspection certification code of ethics by offering to do our kitchen remodel immediately after the inspection. InterNACHI® requires home inspectors/contractors to wait 12 months after an inspection to perform work on that property. Lastly his kitchen remodel work was/is a nightmare; he subcontracted out to incapable workers. I literally had to call him back over twenty times to fix problems that he created. Mark had the audacity to ask to be paid in April 2019 before his work was done, he gave me a couple of sob stories saying he really needed money and health problems etc... It should be noted that his level of workmanship is substandard and he attempted to cut costs and save himself money throughout the project. Mid August and the kitchen is still not done. Think twice before hiring Mark Kelly!
