Nu Tech Pest Management

When I called to set up the service appointment, I was able to get an appointment within a few days. The technician arrived in the timeframe set by the company. He was very professional and went through the process with us. He made it clear that they have a guarantee whereby if you have problems after they do the treatment, you should call them and they will come back out and resolve the issue for no extra charge. They clearly stand behind their products and services. We noticed several big black bugs and the technician was able to identify them for us (even though we had squished them pretty hard!). Apparently they're common here and not a problem - just ugly. But their service should ensure that we don't see many, if any, of them again! The initial service includes an inside treatment as well as outside but then the bi-monthly servicing will only include the outside unless we have further issues inside. He emphasized that if we have any problems between service dates that we shouldn't hesitate to contact them. From what I hear from our neighbors here, we probably won't have issues now that we have the bi-monthly service.

The work itself was completed promptly and within the estimate -- no hidden costs or additional charges. The completed work was very well-done, clean and professional and guaranteed for ten years. The results were just what I wanted. I only wish all dealings with companies who work on my house were like this!

We suspected that we had subterranean termites--of course our house has no crawl space and I am chemically sensitive; so I thought this was going to be very expensive and physically detrimental to me. I first called another company (one that advertises it's environmentally safe alternatives), but after doing the inspection they never got back to me--afraid of the chemical sensitivity issue, I'm sure. I got a recommendation for Rick at Nu-Tech and was plesantly surprised to find that he understood Integrated Pest Management and was willing to use the chemical I asked him to use (because it doesn't require a warning label). That chemical made the price higher, but it was worth it to me. Rick was punctual and worked quickly and cleanly. I have no reservation in giving him the highest recommendation I can give; although this is not to say to others who are chemically sensitive that they will not have a problem with a chemical treatment that I didn't react to. All of us are different and have to make decisions based on the knowledge of what is best for ourselves.
