Description of Work: We had a shower stall that we changed into a bathtub/shower combination. Jack's cut through the concrete slab to move the drain and installed the bathtub (which we purchased through them because we wanted a cast iron tub, not plastic) and piping to the tub. | |The only reason I graded them low on responsiveness is because it took a while to get the quote from them. To be fair, I told them I wasn't in a hurry.

Description of Work: Repaired mainline drain pipe damaged by root invasion. Had to take out a section of concrete sidewalk and dig a 6 foot deep trench to get to section of pipe that was damaged. Repaired pipe, repaired county sidewalk, and filled in trench in front yard. 3 days of work.

+ -1 moreThey didn't really know where the breakage was and they had camera's to see. My son cut the hole in the wall to expose the pipe that was disconnected. They repaired the pipe and were on their way. My house was built in 1965 and if the drywall was placed before 1972 hazmat would have had to inspect first. After they fixed the pipe I had to get a drywall contractor. They did exactly what they were supposed do.
Description of Work: Fixed a broken pipe in the wall.

+ -1 morewe hired another plumber who did the job - and had it completed before Jack's Plumbing said that they could even begin! and, as for the hard/rocks ground - the plumber that we hired did the job w/man power and shovels
Description of Work: needed trench dug to repair leak in propane gas line time was an issue, they couldn't get to it for a week (could begin until feb 1) misdiagnosed problem (said that the ground was too hard and had rocks in it - our property is a sandy mesa - no rocks nor adobe) they wanted to hire outside engineering firm to dig (heavy equipment) simple 18" deep by 8" wide trench 125 feet long and couldn't tell us how much engineering firm would charge also, the issue of what would be destroyed by the equipment they said was not their responsibility

Description of Work: We had just purchased a home in Grover Beach and upon moving in on a Saturday, the plumbing started to back up. The tub filled up with "waste" and it was a nightmare. We called Jack's All American Plumbing and they sent a man out within approximately 2 hours or less. The service provider was polite, professional and very good at his job. It seem we had a blockage some where between our home and the street. He quickly took care of the problem, left everything very clean and I was so greatful! About a year later we decided to change out 3 toilets in the house. During the job we discovered that one of the flanges that held the toilet was broken. Again we called "Jacks" and they were there that day and fixed us right up.

+ 0 moreKitchen sink had been slow draining for quite some time as well as the master bathroom toilet not working. It wasn't a problem with the toilet not functioning, it was something in the lines. I called Jack's and they sent somebody out the next day. There were two people, one worked on the bathroom problem and the other on the kitchen sink. It too a little bit, but they eventually fished a blockage out of the lines. They were both very friendly and professional.
Description of Work: fixed slow draining sink and non flushing toilet by cleaning out the lines.
