Bruce Nixon Finish Carpentry

I'm an owner / builder managing a renovation project with lots of tasks. Bruce was introduced to me by his Dad who lives across the street. I didn't have a sub for these carpentry tasks so I decided to give Bruce a try. Bruce is friendly and not sophisticated. He was reluctant to provide a bid for my job, but I decided to give him a try on the first task anyway. That task was to repair a linen closet door (one of four) that had been destroyed. Bruce suggested that we just replace them all... that we'd never be able to match 50 year-old doors and that I'd never be happy with the repair. I went with his suggestion and in a day he had installed four new doors that looked awesome. And his bill was very fair. I was convinced at that point that Bruce could do all my finish carpentry tasks. Over the next several weeks, Bruce promptly completed tasks, made other useful suggestions and shared tips that helped with the overall project. I couldn't be happier with the quality of his work, attention to detail and overall performance. Will definitely use Bruce again.
