Patrick Lim is a wonderful guy to work with. He anticipates additional costs which might arise and let's you know before you agree to anything. He communicates well with both the customer and his crew to make sure things go smoothly. He is above all trustworthy and stands by his word, which in this business is hard to come by. The workmanship was excellent, and the City Inspector said it was one of the best jobs he has seen among the jobs that were done during the wind storm disaaster which happened in December 2011. I would use Goldenstar again for any project.

Everything went as they said it would. Only a 2 day delay to start,but that was because of Memorial Day delayed pulling the permit (beyond their control). From estimation to installation a perfect job. I have not a single complaint. Workers were great and courteous. We have a new roof that will last quite a while. I would consider using them again for other jobs.

Golden Star's workmanship, quality of materials and service was outstanding . If you are looking for a competent, reasonably priced roofer, call Golden Star. They completed our project in 3 consecutive days ( 2 full and two 1/2 days). Martin, the owner, & his crew were courteous and very respectful of our property. Clean up was thorough, too. Martin also does free roof inspections and other remodeling as well-- When it comes time to paint our home or do any other remodeling, we will definitely get a bid from Golden Star. Martin, the owner, is trustworthy, honest, and a man of his word who tries to do the best by his customers.

After receiving bids from a large number of contractors, we went with Goldenstar because they were friendly and professional. We did not feel "pressured" to go with them, unlike other roofers. And their price was great without skimping on the quality of materials. The job was completed quickly and within the time frame told to us. Along the way the everyone we talked to from the company was friendly and accessible. Our roof looks great and we would recommend Goldenstar to anyone.

As it turns out, our problem with bubbling stucco was not caused by a roof leak but by a chemical reaction in the stucco caused by too much alkaline in the mix. Golden Star removed and replaced the stucco from the affected area for a very reasonable price. The techs were polite and efficent. They were very careful to protect the surrounding areas, including the pool from debris or damage. The repair is perfect - you can't tell at all that it was there.

Martin, the owner was very professional and explained everything in detail and made sure I understood all the procedures as well as the paperwork involved.

We needed fast service, which they provided. The roof was repaired in a fashion that appears appropriate. There was no one present during the repair who could speak English, so it was difficult to be sure the crew was making the repairs as previously agreed upon.
