+ -1 moreAn appointment was made with Mr. Burnsfor an 8:00 AM meeting the following morning, but unfortunately he was a‘no-show’ with no notification or subsequent contact.
Description of Work: I was in need ofconcrete work for a pad for a propane tank and two retaining walls underdecking.

+ 2 moreFirst the gravel was trucked in and brought in by wheel barrow. A 2 man team placed all the gravel, the drain system and the re-bar. The drip system was then installed, the drainage connected and cemented into place to ensure it would not shift during the pour. Mike packed all the gravel by hand with compactors. Pour day - moves fast. 4 man team worked quickly to pump in the concrete, finish and trowel the surface 2-3 times, then just at the right time to stamp the concrete. The following day Mike came back and sprayed the area to check the water drainage and fall - perfect. No ponding any where. Perfect. This is a very professional and efficient company. He does all kinds of concrete work including multiple colors, stamping, sealing, large commercial jobs and small residential jobs. My job turned out perfect. I highly recommend Mike Burns Concrete if you are considering concrete work.
Description of Work: Concrete contractor - Mike Burns does first class work. I was provided with a written proposal and the few changes were a slight addition to the original proposal. My job was difficult with some unique challenges. Mike made it work perfectly. He knew how to solve the problems, worked well with the other trades on the job and completed the work on time! Mike is easy going, gets along with everyone on the job, explains things clearly and he goes above and beyond to see that the customer is happy with his work. He is a knowledgeable contractor offering quality workmanship at fair prices and has a first class crew. Mike prepared and poured a courtyard in an enclosed area with drainage issues, added 5 water supply lines for drip to plants and joint lines spaced for symmetry to the area, drainage and fall. Mike spend several prep hours covering the surrounding areas to ensure the walls and doors were protected and would not be damaged. When the cement truck arrived his team worked swiftly and carefully to create a perfect, stamped, colored courtyard/patio that is flawless.
