+ -1 moreWe have used them three times and we've always been happy with them. He came back the next day to replace the part. He made sure that the washing machine was working right since. He is trustworthy. I was comfortable having him in my home. I don't have any complaints. I feel the price was fair. I was surprised at how low it was. He's not always available.
Description of Work: Derrick's Appliance took the washing machine apart and found the problem. He replaced the broken part.

+ -1 moreMr. Derrick refused to come out. His only reason was because there might be a dead rat. His long delay in returning my phone call and his inexplicable refusal to help me make his business one to avoid.
Description of Work: I created a drip at the bottom of my dishwasher by poking to see if there was a dead rat at the back of the dishwasher. Unable to remove the dishwasher or to repair the drip myself, I contacted Derrick's. It took Mr. Derrick five days to return my call. Then, upon hearing that there might be a dead rat involved, he said he would not come out. I was flabbergasted! I reminded him of all the good reviews, but all he would do was suggest someone else to come out.

+ -1 moreVery nice! It seems challenging to find a good appliance repair person in this area, and I'm glad I found this one. I had to wait a week or so for an open appointment slot, but that seemed the same case with everyone else. He was actually the first that could see me that said he could help. He came on time, was quick to find and fix the problem, friendly, clean and very reasonably priced. He even gave me good advice on another problem in just a few minutes.
Description of Work: Fixed a dishwasher and evaluated a clothes washer.

+ -1 moreOwner returned my call the same day and scheduled a house call for a couple days later. Diagnosed and fixed dishwasher problem quickly. Problem solved, still running well a month later. Seemed quite knowledgable about various appliances. Friendly, price was reasonable for job and travel time to our remote location.
Description of Work: Our dishwasher would not drain. He diagnosed the problem as built up debris clogging various parts of the water filter and drain system. He pulled the dishwasher out, cleaned out all the lines and clogged parts, reinstalled dishwasher and it ran perfectly. Work done quickly and cleaned up so no mess.

+ -1 moreGlenn from Derrick's arrived right on the time promised. He was able to quickly find the problem and repair in less than an hour. A coin had lodged itself in the water pump and broken two of three teeth. Glenn was able to replace the pump from his truck inventory and then tested.
Description of Work: Maytag Neptune washer stopped working in the middle of a cycle, (grinding noise was heard). Hired Derrick's Appliance to repair.
