+ -1 moreWylie was very responsive to our changing needs and schedules. He recognized that the hot water heater and furnace detachment for mold remediation were very important to get in place ASAP and accommodated us in a timely fashion despite the lack of communication from the mold remediation team. When he initially repaired the area destroyed by the remediation team and the leak returned, he immediately came out and handled the situation locating a nail through a pipe from when the house was originally built that was rusting away resulting in a slow leak. It had been originally assumed the leak was a result of the 18 year old hot water heater which was replaced by a different vendor. Great to work with and a quality job.
Description of Work: Rebuild framing/wallboard removed by mold remediation team, found leak after mold remediation completed and walls repaired, repaired subsequent leak not detected by previous plumber, put pan under hot water heater, reconnected hot water heater, inspected crawl space due to bowed siding, repaired dry rot in second story windows, repaired chandelier, cleaned gutters.

+ 2 moreWylie did an excellent job as usual. He came out and measured the gates and looked to see the type of fencing he needed to match the design of the gates to. He built the redwood gates and brought them to our home. He removed the old gates, and installed the new gates, adding the hardware and locks on the gates. He also took care of the two unrelated issues I mentioned above. One involved a fix to a part of the fencing itself. The other was a small update to a shed he had built for us a couple of years ago. Wylie had a great eye for design, is a superb carpenter, and is so professional, easy to work with, completes his work with superb craftsmanship, and is very good about cleaning up too. I highly recommend him, he is my go to carpenter and handyman. He has worked inside our home on doors and closets and things like that, and also outside our home.
Description of Work: Wylie has completed several jobs for us over the years. This one involved replacing two gates for the fence around our home. We wanted to have gates that were stronger and that had integrated hardware and locks. I also had a couple of small unrelated tasks I wanted Wylie to complete for us.

Description of Work: Following a break in, we needed much better security. Wylie built and installed two beautiful gates and supplied them with excellent locks and hardware. A real craftsman. He worked with our ideas and improved them, and then executed them with real skill and care.

+ 1 moreAs I stated above, Wylie handled the project in a high quality and professional manner from start to finish and was wonderful to talk with about different project requirements and how they might be handled. He is smart, creative, thinks on his feet and comes up with strong and attractive solutions to different issues. His workmanship and work ethic are of the highest caliber. He and his team are very easy to work with, considerate, mature, professional and trustworthy. I give him and his company Coyote Designs my highest recommendation. Wylie lives and works in the area and is eager to build his business. He does a great job. As I said above, he is now my 'go to' carpenter, handyman, construction person from here on going forward. My high regard for his work, and the work itself, has prompted my mom and my older sister to hire him for projects at their homes. I am very careful about whom I recommend to family members and friends, and I recommend Wylie and his team without reservation. He's the real deal. You can be very comfortable and confident that he will treat you with respect, address your requirements in the job, and do an excellent job at a reasonable price.
Description of Work: Wylie came over and talked with me about how I wanted the pool shed rebuilt. The pool shed houses some very expensive equipment that the pool service people need to be able to reach and work on. The original shed was claustrophobic and prohibited the service team from working effectively on the machines. The machines also give off a good deal of heat and the shed needs to be properly ventilated. It also needed to be secure from the creatures of the night (raccoons and skunks, etc) that we have around here. Wylie listened to my list of requirements and we discussed a couple of different options in design and materials. The pool service manager had suggested 4' wide bi-fold doors which presented some design challenges working within the constraints of the shed footprint and neighboring pressed concrete walkway. Wylie is easy to talk to, down to earth, and knowledgeable. He agreed to send me an estimate in a few days after he researched a couple of options, and he did as promised. He and his team (3 of them total the first day for demolition and initial work, 2 the second day, and then Wylie finished a couple of things the third day by himself) arrived each day on time, worked efficiently and with excellent skill, and cleaned up each day before they left. Wylie and I talked during the course of the construction and made small adjustments to the design as the job went along that really pleased me. The finished product is very well constructed, attractive and matches the rest of the house, high-quality, durable, and very effective for its functions. I am very, very pleased with Wylie and his team member's work and finished product. From now on, Wylie and his company Coyote Designs are my go to contractors for carpentry and a variety of handyman, and building projects. I have already asked him about a second project at my home and a second project at my mom's condo nearby. And my sister will be talking with him about two projects for her home.
