Bruce Mechanical Inc

I went to turn up the heat in the morning on 1/22/13 and realized that I did not hear the furnance turn on but that the fan was just operating. After trying some basic checks such as resetting the circuit breaker and checking the thermostat I called Bruce Mechanical and left a message about the problem. I received a phone call, unfortunently they called our home while we were out for the later part of the day, I would recommend that everyone always give the repair shop your cell phone vs. house phone. My mistake. Anyway the owner, Gary Bruce , called me back and he came out, checked out the problem, found a failed switch, and ordered a new one. He came back the next day and installed the new switch and all is good. Gary also suggested that I switch out the filter that collects more of the fine particles, for a filter that was not as restrictive . He told me that this can cause the furnace to work harder then what is necessary. Gary and his staff are very professional as I saw when they installed a brand new furnace and ducting in our home that we were completely remodeling which did not have central heating at the time. They did a fantastic job in how they placed everything throught our " open beam ceiling " home. Gary responded quickly and was very nice and helpful and I would highly recommend his company to all who are looking for a fair and professional heating and a/c outfit.
