Bill's pricing was unbeatable -- but this was definitely a moment wherein we got what we paid for. While he was very nice -- very personable -- he lacked the professionalism that other companies offered.
We would rank the company a C because the units that he installed function. However, the experience wasn't great.
They started the installation a day later than they said and finished a week later than they projected.
They drilled a hole into our living room -- by mistake -- but didn't offer to patch it or fix it in any way.
They don't do any detailing work -- which is fine considering the price. However, I don't think we expected to have to take care of quite so much. For example: they over-cut some of the access points meaning that we'll have to go in do extra patching and painting.
In terms of communication -- sometimes Bill was available and sometimes he wasn't. When we needed to find out about the work status because we had overnight guests arriving in town (this was Thursday), Bill wasn't available and didn't return our calls until Monday morning. He had briefly mentioned that they might not work on Friday, but never followed up and confirmed those plans.
None of this is earth-shattering deal-breakers (in terms of whether or not it's a good company to work for), but it still seemed unprofessional, inconvenient, and felt frustrating for us.
