Was told the igniter was shot and he replaced it. An hour later we had to call him back because oven would not light. He found out it was a more serious problem. Too costly to fix, ended up buying a new stove.

I was very satisfied with this appliance service. Our long time appliance person retired and had to look elsewhere. I am not disappointed at all. World Appliance scheduled us promptly and took care of the issue within a week as the part had to be ordered. They call ahead to advise their tech was on his way. He was professional, explained the problem and was very clear on the costs. Will be calling on them again for any other appliance services required.

Furnace not working - showed up within 2 hours of call and resolved problem

They were a little late for the appointment and the price was a little higher than I would have expected, HOWEVER they did respond same day the week before Thanksgiving to fix an oven that I had procrastinated fixing for a year. The technicians were polite and professional. The oven now works. I would call them again in the future should the need arise.

Very friendly, very helpful. Scheduled our service window between 10 and 12 on Monday. At 12:00, no one had shown and no phone call. My husband called to see what was up. They had put the appointment in a different service window. Mistakes happen and it's what happens after that mistake that shows professionalism. They told my husband they had tech in the area and as soon as he finished up they would send him over. They did. I can't rate them high for punctuality because of this, but I am satisfied with the resolution. We ended up need a part ordered, it was ready the next day. We had to wait until the day after to have him come back as we were stuck at the laundrymat with our mountains of laundry. Brought our wet clothes home to dry and found out the dryer wasn't heating up. We called World Appliance to alert them that they would need to look at that when they came back for the washer. He arrived the next day with the part for the washer and fixed the dryer while he was there.

They are very un-cooperative and un-ethical and I would never recommend this vendor. This was poor business practice.

I actually got their name from Angie's List. They came half an hour late, and when I pointed that out, they really got rude. They were just not nice.

The HVAC has been working fine for 7 months now simply from the cleaning. It was a reasonable fee and the servicepeople were professional and clean.

The magnetron on our 6-year old microwave died. I found Gary on Angie's List and he called me back within minutes of the email I sent to him. He was very fast, friendly and honest. The magnetron itself was the most expensive part of the microwave. The final price was very fair. I would definitely call Gary for any of my appliance repair needs.

Our washer was not draining and a friend told me he thought it might be the water pump. We saw that World Appliance Svc was local and had a great rating so we called. They were polite on the phone and made an appt. for the following day. The response time was a 2 hour window from 10-12 and they called on the way over at 11am. The service person was friendly and did tell us indeed it was the water pump. He didn't have the specific one on hand but someone came and delivered it. The pump was delivered and he was done by 12:30, which he said it took a bit longer then normal. We also had him examine our dryer as it had been making some odd noises, he found a penny in the lint area to which my wife agreed that's probably what had been causing the noise and he said otherwise our dryer runs great which I was happy to hear. All in all they exceeded our expectations in every way and we were very happy with their service.

I called to discuss my problem with my countertop burners. He indicated what he thought the problem might be over the phone. I asked for an appointment, he gave me his service call price, I agreed, he then told me he could come out within the next few days, We made an appointment during that time frame, he gave me a time of approx. between 1-5 and he showed up during that time, he called first.He arrived on time, went right to work, diagnosed the problem within approximately 10-15 minutes. Repaired what he could, ordered the igniter, cleaned up, made a tentative appointment, took a 50% deposit to return based on when he received the new part. He called several days later that the new part was in, came the next day to install, cleaned up and left after I paid him.

They came out the same day, within the time window, which was just a few hours after we called. Our dishwasher had a clogged drain, and was never really installed right (by another company) the first time. The technician unclogged the drain, then properly bolted the dishwasher in. He told us exactly how to avoid clogging the drain in the future (do *not* use the plastic encased dishwasher detergent packets, only powder detergent), and was very professional and fast. We were very pleased with the service, timeliness and professionalism.

Mark came in, analyzed the problem, indicated it was the pump that went out, gave me an estimate, I accepted, he checked his inventory, then he completed the work and was done, all in approximately one hour.

Mark the technician was on time, very friendly, and knew what he was doing. He repaired the dryer quietly and efficiently and we were very pleased with the job.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND THE REPAIR MAN THAT CAME OUT WAS VERY PLEASANT. I WOULD CALL THEM AGAIN. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL. HE GOT THE JOB DONE QUICK. THERE WAS NO MESS, AND HE WAS GONE.

THE PEOPLE WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT GETTING BACK TO ME LATER THE SAME DAY WITH AN ESTIMATE. IT COST JUST ABOUT WHAT THEY SAID IT WOULD. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEM OVERALL.

WORLD APPLIANCES CAME OUT THE SAME DAY THAT I CALLED. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND CLEAN. THE PERSON WHO CAME OUT ON THE SERVICE CALL TEMPORARILY FIXED MY DISHWASHER SO THAT I COULD USE IT UNTIL IT WAS PERMANENTLY FIXED.
