My garage door was not closing. I was able to get an appointment 2 days after i called. Mark and Cody arrived right on time, diagnosed my problem, gave me a lesson on garage door apparatus, and offered several solutions and prices. They did the work in 30 minutes. I will have them return at a later date to replace the garage door opener with modern (and quiet) technology.

Except for minor scheduling glitch, everything went very well. Mark Miller is a pro. He did everything he said he would do and I have a super-quiet, super-smooth, great looking garage door. My old garage door opener was the typical long bar down the middle, with the boxy motor mounted on a fairly low beam. I always felt like I was going to hit my head on it, it was very rough in its operation and it just looked plain crummy. I thought it was well worth it to pay the extra bucks and get opener that mounts on the wall next to the door. It's quiet, smooth and the garage has a much cleaner look without all that stuff hanging down in the middle. I have had it for a couple of months now, and I love it. The experience was great from start to finish. Unlike some others, they gave me a ballpark price on the phone. Then when Mark came out to do a formal estimate he was very low-pressure, non-sales-y. He didn't try to push anything or upsell me in any way. I appreciate that. I also liked that he is local to the Santa Clarita Valley and willing to come out right away if I experience any problems. I will be recommending Valencia Overhead Door to my friends.

Called them to repair or replace an older garage door opener. They replaced it. They were easy to reach, prompt and worked efficiently. The new opener works very well and I will call them again when the other one needs replacing which will probably be soon from the sound of things.

I consider hiring them. I just called them. They were professional. They answered the phone and gave me a quote.

They were very responsive and professional. I chose a different provider because of price and install date. However, I will keep them in mind for future service because my experience was that good.

I called that morning and my garage door was fixed that same afternoon! It only took about 15 minutes to get the coil untwisted and working properly. One wheel had been knocked off the track and that was also put back on. Then , at no extra charge, he oiled the main coil rod and adjusted the pull tension on the motor. I had used Valencia Overhead Door 5 years ago, and same as then, it was a great, fast, reasonably priced, honest, nice, and professional experience! I highly reccomend them.

I took off work an hour early to be home for the scheduled 3-5 pm appointment. When it drew near to 5:00 I called to check on their ETA. I was told the appointment had not been written down and the installer could not be here at all today. Too bad, they had good reviews. But that's the only chance Valencia Overhead Doors will get with me.

Mark arrived ahead of the scheduled time I was given for his arrival. He introduced himself and went right to work. He immediately identified the problem, and then gave me an estimate of the cost. (If I remember correctly, when I called for the service, I was given the estimate of $195.00) Mark completed the work in less than an hour, it seemed. He did a great job. I would DEFINITELY use Valencia Overhead Door again. Thank you!

The wood bracket holding the garage door roller broke and separated from the garage. It happened just before I went out of town for New Years. I called and set up an appointment for the day I was returning. I was given an estimate of $80-$120. They called a few days later to change the appointment and ended up coming while I was driving home. A friend let them in and monitored the repair. I came home to a functioning garage door. They allowed me to call in with a credit card payment several days later. Responded quickly and professionally to my problem.

We were given a time of window of 1pm to 3pm. Mark arrived at about 1:10pm and the problem was taken care of in a matter of minutes. It just needed an adjustment. Great service and fair price. We were pleased and will use again.

I called Valencia Overhead Door because they installed my garage door ten years prior and I recalled being pleased with them at that time. Mark arrived within the time window specified, and replaced the broken springs for the price quoted. I was very pleased with this vendor, and would definitely use them again. I highly recommend them.

I called Valencia Overhead Door to come out and give me an estimate on repairing or replacing my Garage Door. I had been written up by the HOA due to the fact that the plastic trim around the windows on the Garage Door were cracked and or missing. Mark from VOD expalined on our initial phone conversation that maybe he could just repair the damage with out having to replace the door. I made an appointment with Mark and he showed up on time to examine the door. After examining the door Mark determined it was more beneficial to replace the entire door since there was other damage to the door besides the broken plastic trim around the windows. I also mentioned that the automatic door opener was not working and could he also give me a price for replacing it as well. Mark said he would see if he could repair the exiisting opener instead of installing a new one. I received an estimate for the new door and new automatic opener and the pricing was very competitive. Unfortunately I had 12 years worth of junk in my garage so I would have to clean it up so that Mark would have room to install the new door. Six weeks later I finally got the garage cleaned out had called VOD to let them know I was ready to have the new door installed. They remembered me and were very courteous on the phone and we set up an appointment to have the new door installed. Mark showed up on time and installed the new door in a timely fashion. He also was able to fix the exsiting opener which saved me over $300.00.He also installed a new opener by the door into the house at no charge. I found Mark and VOD to be honest, professional and knowledgeable and the whole experience was very pleasant. My neighbor is needing some work done on their overhead door and I reffered them to Mark at VOD. I will definitely use VOD in the future for all my garage door needs!

I found Valencia Overhead Door on Angie's List. I called and they were able to accommodate my schedule by making an appointment at 4:30 in the afternoon. On the day of the appointment, I received a call around 2 hours before the appointment to see if they could re-schedule for the following day. I was unable to reschedule due to a previous appointment. They came on the original scheduled date and time. Mark completed the work . Mark was very knowledgeable and professional.

Called Mark and he called right back. We discussed the problem and agreed on a time for him to check it out. He arrived precisely on time and went right to work. With his usual care and concern he resolved the problem and spent time trying to diagnose the root cause. He made sure that everything was in working order before he left. He was here about 15 minutes, fixed the door, and did not charge ANYTHING. I wouldn't expect free service every time, and this was completely unexpected. He came out a year ago to replace our main two-car garage door spring. He came prepared, worked quickly, showed me every step of what he was doing (fascinating to watch, by the way), and then made sure the door was properly aligned and lubed and working. The price was exactly what he quoted me on the phone, and the work was done professionally. When it comes to any garage door issues, he is the only person I would call.

Garage door would close and them immediately reopen. I noticed wiring hanging from the opener. Contacted Valencia Overhead Door and received quote of $85 for the repair as it did not appear that the drive train was damaged. Before the scheduled appointment which was the next day, my daughter pushed the garage door button by mistake. Part of the drive train moved and twisted against the garage door. I contacted Valencia Overhead Door to advise of the further damage. The technician arrived, repaired the wire and was able to straighten the bent part of the drive train. Total cost was still only $85. My husband and I are very thankful for the excellent service we received.

I don't remember exactly when and how much he charged to replace our garage door opener and springs. He showed up when promised and did the work for the stated price. He was only suppose to replace the opener but we asked him to also replace the spring while he was already working.

Mark and Tina of Valencia Overhead Doors have provided me with excellent service. The technician that came over was Mark and he was friendly, punctual, responsive, and very professional. He provided me with an accurate quote for the repair and he has the best prices in the Santa Clarita valley. The final price I paid was the same as his original quote. He also responded to all my inquiries regarding the new upgrade to my TorqueMaster’s spring mechanism with the anti-drop safety mechanism. I will definitely call Valencia Overhead Doors again for any future garage upgrade and I have already referred Mark to several of my friends and neighbors. Great job Mark and Tina!

Our garage door intermittently refused to close, sometimes would stop in mid-descent, then open, then after more encouragement with the remote, would finally close. Mark arrived within his predicted 2-hour window, quickly diagnosed the problem - a mis-aligned sensor. He showed me how easy it was to get the sensors into proper alignment so that if the problem arises again, I can probably fix it myself. He checked both sensors and determined that they were operating properly. As it turned out, he knew what had happened to the company we'd hired to install the garage door several years ago - the proprietor had moved out of state. I'll now be able to rely on Mark and Valencia Overhead Door for any garage-door related service. It's a pleasure to be able to deal with a local company that's dependable and reasonable.

This was the second time I used Valencia Overhead Door. The first time, we ran into the door with our car and bent the track and part of the door. We thought for sure we needed a new one. Mark looked at it and told us he could fix it and save us the expense of a new door. When he finished, the door operated better than before we broke it. About 6 months later the spring broke. I thought this was now the time to replace the door. Again, Mark came out, inspected the door and said it still had some useful life in it. He replaced the spring and the door works great. Each one of these times I was prepared to buy a new door and expected to pay around $1,000.I was very pleased with Valencia Garage Door's honesty, integrity and professionalism. I know the door will eventually really need to be replaced and will definitely call them for the job.

I WOULD SAY THAT IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET STUFF DONE. THEY WEREN'T RESPONSIVE. THEY LACKED BASIC COURTESIES. I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN. I FOUND THEM IN THE YELLOW PAGES.
