The job required removal of drywall from the ceiling, replacement of the deck drain above, several days of blowers to ensure the moisture was gone, treating for any potential mold, and then patching of the roughly 8'x8' hole. The work is excellent, and it rained right after the job was finished with no leaking. Tony insisted that the job site was squeaky clean when the crew left every day. He was very accommodating when I asked if the ceiling could be painted a lighter color. The family room and the upstairs patio look better than ever with fresh coats of paint. We are already thinking of other projects that Tony can help us with. We recommend him highly, and so does our shepherd/husky Chloe and our doberman Beau, who loved having extra humans to give them attention for a few days.

+ 4 moreThis was the absolute best experience I could have hoped for. Tony came out as promised to give me an estimate, which came back to me on email quickly. We set a date and time, the crew of (4) showed up and completed all tasks within 5 hours. They were nice, friendly, professional, did a great job (and some extra touches), and we could not be happier with the outcome! We will recommend them to everyone we know!

+ 2 moreFound out after they finished the job that the hard-working, efficient guys at TME (Tony, Cody and Kevin) gave up their Veteran's day holiday to take care of our problems. Their work is really topnotch, and the area was very clean after they were finished. They even took all the trash bins out to the curb as I'm sure they noticed several of the neighbor's bins were out (trash pickup is tomorrow.) I know other handymen would not have done so. Their professionalism, expertise, thoroughness, neatness, and caring all resulted in my being very pleased and, in fact, completely satisfied. I rate TME construction as A++ as I believe they are the best! Needless to say, I would hire them again. Thank you Tony, Kevin and Cody.

I had a kitchen light changed, running toilets fixed, 2 new bathroom faucets installed and flooring in front of the tub glued back down and molding sealed. They came in as a crew and knocked it out. So thankful I didn’t try to do it myself. It was well worth the money. Just a heads up, it may take a few days to get in touch with them. They were busy on jobs and wanted to make sure to call me back during respectable business hours, not after dark, which I appreciated.

+ 3 moreI cannot recommend Tony and his team highly enough. My windows leaked and I had tried several other contractors and handymen before calling Tony but they just couldn't stop the leak! TME arrived on time, were friendly, clean, and professional. Most importantly they stopped the leak! TME was so great that I have already used them on other jobs. I will use them again and recommend them to all of my friends!

+ 14 moreI called Tony at TME after reading several reviews and contacting several other contractors from Angies List. I interviewed several, obtained 2 written estimates. The estimates were about the same. The reason I hired Tony was because of his "Can Do" attitude. He didn't throw negatives and obstacles up to getting the job done. This was important to me as I had just finished firing an incompetent contractor who screwed me out of $$$. I needed the job done without having to worry about it. Tony was true to his word. Everything got done, inspected. So happy. Don't hesitate to hire TME construction. You'll never find a more reliable contractor who gets the job done right the first time!!
Description of Work: Tony at TME needed to come in and take over a bathroom/laundry area addition, new roof, new ac/forced heat addition, finish exterior stucco on the addition, re grade and pour patio cement. In addition he had to correct numerous errors left by an idiot contractor, get through nearly 2 dozen various LA City inspections. The sub contractors he provided were top notch, they all did beautiful work in a very timely manner. Tony and his crew are very efficient and timely. They don't waste any time getting the job done, working quickly and efficiently. They clean everything up when finished. TME is not the cheapest, but it's definitely true, you get what you pay for. Tony goes the extra mile for you. He helped us tarp a partially completed addition before it rained when we did not even have a contract signed with him. He cares about his customer. He won't leave you stranded like so many other contractors. He is reliable, does excellent work and always returns calls in a timely manner!

A tad off on measuring for easy opening of the upper cabinet, but made it work another way. Nice, friendly and overall enjoyed their work.

+ 4 moreTony and his team were a dream from start to finish. We got an estimate for work. We asked that he downsize the project (not finishing the floor) into our price range. He sent a second reduced estimate without a hassle. We scheduled the project for the first three days of Thanksgiving week. He showed up on time both days and completed the work a day early. Tony and his crew were conscientous and went above and beyond. He even hung a storage cabinet in our house bathroom free of charge. And installed a light fixture in the bungalow bathroom that wasn't included in the price. I would recommend him without reservation. Tony and his crew are not only highly skilled workers, they show up with a smile on their faces for work. They managed to make a constructoin project -- which can be stressful -- a completely pleasant experience.
Description of Work: Repaired stucco where a door had been moved and several other areas that needed stucco repairs on a bungalow (separate living quarters from house). Painted the outside of the 360-square-foot bungalow, including trim around the roof and the door. Installed baseboards in interior. Installed a light in the bathroom. Finished interior side of entry door and both sides of bathroom door that had been left unfinished by a previous contractor. And painted baseboards and door entry-ways.

+ 3 moreTony and his crew were very friendly and professional. The crew worked fast and clean. The work was good, but there were a few areas where the fit and finish wasn't 100%. The new wooden shelves weren't sanded down before painting, so they're very rough. Same with some of the drywall. Punctuality was also a small issue. Overall I'd hire them again for small handyman services.
Description of Work: Outdoors: Fix a broken fence and gate. Indoors: Drywall work. Refinish a closet with floors, ceiling, light, paint and wire shelves. Create new wooden shelves to match existing ones in a kitchen pantry.

I only wish I knew about him when I started my project because it would've been done more quickly and I wouldn't have had the hold ups I had from other contractors working on my house. I highly recommend Tony and his team and I strongly suggest if you are doing a home or kitchen and or bathroom remodel--have Tony take on the whole project. You'll be glad you did.

Description of Work: Tony has his team were like having Ocean's Eleven here. There was a team of four. They all divided and conquered and it felt like they all had a specialty. Led by Tony - a man of great integrity and authenticity. He knew exactly what he was talking about and did not add any "extras" that he could have asked or recommended to increase the price. He is honest and hard working! Now to the work I had done! TME repaired our garage door opener, including changing out the sensor. They fixed the whirly thing on the roof of my garage for the take up air. They replaced my front door lock, including sanding down the side to fit. They fixed the two holes in our dry wall in the bathroom and painted and then replaced the fixtures. They fixed the hanging curtains in my bedroom and in the bathrooms. He fixed and replace a leaking pipe and replaced a GFI outlet for my exterior lights and sprinkler system. I LOVE TME!

+ 4 moreFantastic. He had sent his guys home for the day when we called him but his son offered to come in and help out to get it installed. If integrity is high on your list of noble attributes, then Tony is your guy.
Description of Work: I originally contacted Tony to get an estimate on some backyard construction. He was hands-down, the most friendly and approachable of all the companies I contacted. When he arrived, he was so informative and helpful. We then asked if he could answer some questions about a major kitchen remodel we would like to do in the future. He's exceptionally knowledgeable. Yesterday, our hot water pressure completely dropped off. We did what we could using youtube videos but contacted Tony for advice. On Saturday morning, he not only rushed over right away to assess the situation but he then jetted out to get a new water heater since ours had obviously died. He even got his son to come back into work to help install it so we wouldn't go without hot water for the weekend. He double checked all of his work and made sure everything was fine before he left. What an amazing guy. If you want to be sure that you're in good hands, Tony is a fair and honest contractor/all-around-renaissance man and I honestly couldn't recommend him enough.
