They are really nice and professional. It went fine, but their pricing is a lot out there. I would recommend them but they just didn't suit our needs. We did not use them because of the price quote.

Once materials were available, Tony and his very capable, friendly crew came to our home only to discover even more issues with sizing of the stairs and the door. Both were DYI projects by the previous homeowner and needless to say they didn't do the job properly at all. Tony and his guys handled the situation in a very professional manner. They were prepared to adjust both the stairs and door to fit the space. Although I heard Tony say that he'd never encountered a door with so many issues, I never heard one complaint from anyone nor any of them say they couldn't make it work. Not only did they make it work, both look as though there were never any issues at all. You wouldn't know unless I told you. We appreciated the high energy of Tony and his crew, the positive attitude with which they went about their work and the professionalism they had throughout the entire project. Although problems were encountered, they always had an answer. On top of that, they were extremely fair in their pricing. We thought the project would cost a ton considering everything that occurred during installation, but Tony took care of us in a big way. We couldn't be more happy with the work and are excited to have working stairs and a door that closes properly! These guys get our highest recommendation!

Exactly as described. Work was done on time and on budget. Tony is very friendly and easy to deal with. He's even sort of fun just to have around. His men are all excellent workers. Everybody speaks perfect English, is polite, friendly, prepared, attentive to details, careful with their working habits, and they all seem to work very well together as a team. My project involved converting a pool house into a home office. I have other projects (kitchen remodel, garage rebuild, outdoor deck, etc.) that I may have TME do as well. I highly recommend this company.

Even though we did not go with TME for a kitchen remodel that we started in June of 2014, Tony was still willing to come by to help us determine what kind of counter top the other company had installed. Not only that, but he also provided us with a free evaluation of the workmanship of the job that had been done, in order to help us with a claim we were filing against the other company. On top of all of that, Tony made sure we got our old range and the sink connected on the Monday prior to Thanksgiving, so we would be able to fix dinner for our guests--even though we had yet to sign a contract with him. That is going above and beyond my expectations! We highly recommend TME!!!

Great job! We now have an excellent, spacious new kitchen that looks terriffic and is much more functional than the 1960s era original. Tony is a great guy to work with, always keeps in contact (he's old school, uses his phone to talk not text, and always responds promptly to voicemail). Tony's crew did the main construction work. For specialist work such as plumbing, tiling, and drywall, TME subcontracts to excellent local tradesmen he's been working with for years. Their skill really shows with neat workmanship, no botched jobs. Tiling in particular is perfectly done with level installation and even grout lines, thank you Scott and Alfonso. We had some delays along the way with permits and a counter material shortage, outside TME's control. TME kept things moving right along, and was flexible with rescheduling their work once those were resolved. All in all, a very successful project. You won't regret using TME for your construction needs.

Tony and crew were great to work with through the process. The kitchen is done now and everything looks great. They are easy to work with and adapted to changes as they came. We are already planning our next project with TME.

Talked to Tony on Friday and workers showed up on Monday. Can't get faster service than that! The work was done quickly (2 days) and everything was cleaned up before they left. I have already scheduled additional work. I'd very definitely recommend this company.

We have used TME in the past, about a year ago when my husband and I remodeled our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. We did not write a review back then just because we have been busy but I would like to share our past and most recent experience as well. Tony and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job. They are always punctual, do a very clean job. They are professionals and they even suggest ideas for you to have in consideration when fixing/installing fixtures in your house. A year ago, TME installed toilet and sink/vanity in bathroom, hooked up plumbing and they also installed new electrical outlets to accommodate some changes we were doing when we remodeled our kitchen. They also installed a hood vent and move a gas line for our stove. They helped us out installing the LED lights under the cabinets. Since they did such a great job, we called them again a year later. We needed a chandelier installed in our dining room with a new switch independent of the recessed lights switch and three pendant lights installed above our kitchen island. As usual, Tony and his crew were right on time and did an excellent job. They are very professional and they make sure that you are satisfied with their service. When they complete their job, they make sure that they vacuum the floors, clean everything up, so you don't have to worry about cleaning after them. Thank you Tony! We will call you for any future needs!

My house is 11 years old and beginning to show some wear. Specifically, I felt the outside of the house needed painting, especially the trim and the patio cover. Additionally, the linoleum in the bathrooms and laundry room was coming up and yellow and blue colors bleeding through. I wanted to install new porcelain tile in these areas. Finally, I wanted another shelf built in the garage similar to the one built last year so I could get more ?stuff? off the garage floor. I called Tony for an estimate. I have used TME Construction in the past and have referred them to friends. Tony felt the outside of the house was fine, and recommended a pressure wash and paint for all of the trim and patio cover. With regards to tile installation, he said his tile setter did an excellent job. I decided to have tile installed in more areas than originally planned (including removing existing tile in the kitchen). Tony and I agreed on the price for all of the above, plus some handyman services, and scheduled the job. The painters worked on the outside of the house, patio cover, and built the second shelf in the garage. They did an excellent job, and took special effort to ensure that everything looked good. Before, we were done I renegotiated the job and asked the painters to also paint the wrought iron gates (paint was peeling and rust showing). They also did a great job on the gates. Scott, the tile setter, and his workers arrived a few days later to begin the tile installation. Scott set the first tile (the one that would determine the layout for the rest of the house), and suggested that I include tile in the family room. There was no pressure, and he kept working. I watched him work and agreed that he was right; the room would look much nicer and larger with tile throughout. Again, Tony and I renegotiated the estimate and Scott, installed approximately 700 square feet of porcelain tile throughout the house. As Tony indicated, Scott is an excellent tile setter; very thorough and methodical. I love my new tile. Tony?s son, Tony, Jr., did most of the requested handyman repairs. He installed the three faucets, fixed the leak in the bathtub and fixed a couple of more minor problems, plus was there when appliances, etc. had to be moved and returned. He did an excellent job here as well.

They arrived on time, were very professional and did the work quickly and cleaned up any mess they made. When I asked if they could see what was wrong with the electrical for my new garbage disposal, To y told me it was old and non compliant with current codes. He promptly fixed and installed it, at no extra charge. I will definitely use this company again.

AMAZING!! I had a leak form an upstairs bathroom that created water damage to the ceiling and wall on the floor below it and the floor below that. Tony was very explanatory of what needed to be done and the cost. I felt in good hands which is always questionable when dealing with different companies of varied skill levels. From dry walling to mold prevention to painting, the TME team did an well done and efficient job. Every part of the team was considerate, a joy to work with and worked well together. Thank you TME Construction, until we meet again........

We had damage after a rain storm and the water started seeping through the dry wall and out an electrical outlet. Tony was wonderful. Very professional and helpful. He resealed the area above my window which caused the leak and had a subcontractor give me a good price on repairing the dry wall/insulation. He did great work and even helped me remove two pieces of tile (without charge) for an unrelated project I was working on. Thank you for the wonderful work.

We gave Tony a call after we'd been left hanging by another contractor. He arrived a little early for the estimate and was very thorough in explaining what needed doing. Our original hood was installed in 1957 when the house was built and vented through the roof. The original idea was to have the duct work replaced, as I expected it was quite dirty from 60 or so years of accumulated grease. Tony surprised me by saying that wasn't possible, which the original contractor hadn't bothered to mention. His price was just the icing on an already awesome cake. We went ahead and hired him. Despite being pretty busy, he was able to fit us in within a few days. On the day, he and his crew were still very professional. They were running late and made sure to phone us to let us know. Once they were here, they installed the hood and worked with a couple oddities that popped up with aplomb! They left the area even cleaner than they found it and even didn't mind the excitement my dogs had at seeing them. Overall, we were extremely pleased with these lads! They will be the first we call when we need a generalist!

Tony and his crew handled the work competently and pleasantly. Everyone he sent to do specific work was easy to have in my home and did their job well. Tony was good about keeping me informed as to any schedule changes. Next is the master bathroom. I plan to use TME again.

I had a really good experience with TME Construction, and look forward to hiring them again! Tony returned my initial call right away, came out to estimate the job, and we scheduled the work for a week later. When his team of 3 workers showed up, they were on time, courteous, and performed the tasks efficiently.

Almost immediate response to my message. They do not perform the services I am looking for but impressed me with their quick, professional response.

First off let me state that all appointments were kept by all of the subsho. First day was the demo and prep for the hot mopping. Day 2 was the hot mopping process. The next few days were the tile people. They would have finished earlier but the power was shut off for maint. The last day of the tile was the grouting and it was beginning to take shape and it really looked nice. The next 2 days were lost as I had to be out of town. .

Earlier this summer we found a leaky hot water valve under our kitchen sink which is in our kitchen island. It caused a lot of water damage in the cabinets and the drywall, where we also found mold. We called a local company to come a clean up the area. The island is only about 7 feet long, with a small shelf unit on the far left, then a small cupboard, the kitchen sink cupboard, and then the dishwasher which sits on the right end of the island. The clean up company had to remove all of the cabinets. The only thing left standing was the far left and far right walls that supported the granite countertop and sink. Once the area was cleaned, we called a couple of people including Tony / TME to come look at the job and give us a bid for reconstruction. Tony's bid had the best price and he had the best reviews on Angie's List so we went with him. Like previous reviews have stated, Tony is extremely busy, because he is known for doing quality work at a fair price and has high ratings on Angies List. Because TME is so busy, going through email or the office phone can take a little time to get set up, but once we had Tony signed on and were in touch with him directly the communication was VERY good! He responded quickly with texts and phone calls, and even though he is busy, he took time to educate us on every step of the process so we could make informed decisions, and he made sure we were ALL on the same page with price, design and process before moving forward. Tony does NOT take short cuts. He prides himself on providing high quality work and doing things right the first time, because according to him, if he doesn't do it right the first time then he inevitably has to come back and fix it which wastes his time. And using inferior products only makes him look bad. This is why people love him! You don't get hundreds of "A" rated reviews on Angie's List for nothing. Tony is also a straight shooter. He doesn't mince words. He tells you exactly what he thinks and is extremely honest in his opinion. Tony treated us very fairly and never once did we feel like he was trying to take advatage of us or gouge us. He actually had the best bid of everyone who looked at the project. He believes VERY strongly in treating his customers with respect and fairness. Unlike so many contractors in the business who are slime balls, and look for any and every opportunity to swindle their customers, Tony is a refreshing change of pace. He is the real deal, and we always felt that we were in good hands. We ran into a couple of kinks because our plumbing was all messed up, but Tony's guys took care of the issues and made things even better than before. We also made a couple of changes with the cabinets which caused our finish date to be extended by a week, but all of the guys were very accommodating and helped get things just the way we wanted. Since we had to basically rebuild our entire island and our granite had to be replaced, we deepened our counter space by 6 inches, which meant we had to have custom cabinets made that would reach to the back wall. We also extended the left end of the counter 6 inches so that we could rebuild a new shelf unit that was deep enough to hold large cookbooks. Tony's cabinet guy came and took all the measurements and helped us with the new design of the bookshelf and they did a fantastic job on the install. It all turned out beautifully with very high quality on the workmanship! New drywall, trim and paint also had to be done around the pony wall that the island is attached to. The joints are tight, and the painting looks great with nice straight lines. Honestly, it looks even better than before. In replacing the granite countertop, Tony helped us find a slab that matches the rest of our kitchen perfectly. Tony's granite guys did a beautiful job in cutting and installing the new countertop. We LOVE it! Tony says he only works with the best people in their field, and it shows in the end product. Everyone on his team was professional, courteous, and punctual. Yet another reason why Tony is so good at what he does. He surrounds himself with the best. If there was ever a picky customer, it is ME. I am extremely detail oriented, am an artist, and have done a lot of my own painting and trim and crown molding work. So because I have such a keen eye for detail it's really hard for me to NOT notice flaws, mistakes or imperfections. I know what it takes to make finish work look good and I can sometimes make contractors a little crazy with how nit picky I can be. So for me to say that all of the work done by Tony and his team looked beautiful and had high quality workmanship, is practically a miracle. For Tony, it's par for the course. Our new kitchen island looks amazing and is everything we wanted it to be. We are grateful to Tony for being such a stand up guy, for being extremely organized, honest, always on time, professional, for providing quality workmanship, for having fair and competitive pricing, for being patient and informative in dealing with our concerns, for being accommodating, for listening to our requests and working hard to provide us exactly what we asked for. We will hire him again in a flash the next time we need ANYTHING done in our home, and we will recommend him to everyone we know.

It went well. Only one problem with a vanity on back order, which through off the work schedule, but you really can't do much about that. It's either available or not. Otherwise it was a good experience. All of the workers were very professional and pleasant. They were always on time. Tony really cares about the quality of his work and he doesn't take short cuts. He also recommended Mitch from the Carpet Store to do my wood floors. They did a wonderful job installing the floors. This was not included in the cost I posted. I am planning on using TME construction again to do my last bathroom. I am just waiting on Mercury Insurance to pay me the rest of my claim. I would suggest communicating with Tony by phone and not by email as he is not in the office much. He is very busy. He always responds within a hour our two when you call him or text him. If you send an email, he may not get it for awhile. Once you know that, then there are no issues with communication. Tony is a very nice person and his crew are really great to work with. I would recommend him for projects large and small.

It was perfect!! I am dumbfounded as to how well it went. I had a hard time finding someone because the job was so small. I found him under handyman here at Angie's List!!! He came out, on time, and gave me an estimate;I agreed to the estimate and scheduled a date for the service. They showed up on time, everyday, the project was completed on the estimated completion date.The project was hassle free, the crew that came out was wonderful. Michael, Cody and Tony JR did a great job, they were pleasant and wonderful to work with. I have wanted the work done for over a year and to be able to find someone who would do this smaller job was great! I have a kitchen project which I plan on using them for in the future.

We contracted with TME Construction for the repairs and we are so happy we did! Not only was TME's bid the most competitive, Tony and his crew did an amazing job in restoring our home. Tony is extremely knowledgeable, kept in continual communication with us and explained the process as they conducted the repairs. He gave us options where he could and really included us in the decision making regarding cost of materials and labor. We didn't have any surprises. Tony's crews performed quality work and kept well within their schedule commitments. Tony also worked tirelessly with our insurance company to ensure they were aware of the extent of the damage and met with them on our behalf. The extensive damage to our home was overwhelming for us and Tony was really great at ensuring us that 'we'll get it fixed good as new". He came through with his promise and we would not hesitate to recommend TME Construction and Tony.
