TME has tremendous respect for historic homes and the knowledge to craft carpentry solutions to meet old standards and materials. The ceiling is made from true 7/8 inch tongue and groove boards with a milled decorative groove - an item that must be custom ordered. The contractor and their employees are pleasant and enthusiastic as they work. They were creative in designing their way around the skylight, fixtures and uneven surfaces. The result was a beautiful ceiling that perfectly fit the style of our home. This is the second job that they have completed at our home and we've just asked them to return for the next project! My wife and I are very pleased.

TME did a great job. They demolished and removed the entire existing rotted deck and rail at our 100-yr old home. The new deck required that a new floor frame be built first without nailing it to the deck surface so as not to puncture the underlying waterproof layer of tar. The frame had to be constantly adjusted to create a reasonable amount of slope for drainage while providing a comfortable level surface to walk on. Finally, a beautiful hardwood deck was installed with rails to perfectly match the style of the home - all custom work. We were very happy with the result. Great guys to work with. My dog made new friends, too!

I decided to do an addition on my house over a year ago. During the process I have experienced both extremes of the spectrum. I'm happy to report that TME Construction is definitely atop the "Positive Experience" side of the spectrum. Tony and the other representatives of this company went above and beyond in providing me a quality repair in a timely, professional manner!!1 Not only was the work done as scheduled, done efficiently, no mess and whereby the previous contractor had made the front of my house look like a barn, tony came up with a design using the materials we had. Super impressive. Do have to mention that when the building inspector came out to check the insulation, he told me it was an outstanding job

Finding a contractor or handyman to rebuild my stucco was not easy. The job was too big for most handymen, or outside their skill set or interest. The job was too small for many contractors. I really appreciated that Tony was willing to do this relatively small job! Tony was great at keeping me informed of the scheduling. Rebuilding the stucco wall with the pillar that holds the mailbox was tedious, required attention to detail and patience. Tony's subcontractors were all great as well. The job was well done, and I will definitely use TME in the future on other projects.

Tony started out great when we met him. He changed the start date a few times due to dry wall guy being out of the country and then injured. Had many excuses for every question. We decided to wait for his company due to his ratings. Once he showed, he failed to show much attention to detail. We pointed out issues that he overlooked and they had to be redone. The wait wasn't worth it!!

We love TME...in fact, we wouldn't use anyone else! Tony at TME has done some other work for us, and it went great. This time we had a bunch of little projects that we couldn't do ourselves. TME to the RESCUE! Seriously, they did all the work we asked for and more....plus they did it right and at the right price. Tony works quickly, with precision, and does a great job. I would highly recommend him. We will use TME Construction every time for our construction needs and "fix-it" jobs.

The job went well. I had an area in my dining room and a smaller area in my bathroom that needed to have new drywall, molding, baseboard put in, and the surfaces needed to be repainted. I got two estimates for this job. The first one was a bit cheaper, but I had a really hard time reaching the contractor to get an estimate in writing and schedule the job. I suspected that he felt my job was too small to be worthwhile. I reached out to TME, and while the quote was higher, it still seemed fair, and most importantly they were responsive and didn't make me feel that my smaller job was a dud. All the workers who came to my house over two days were courteous, professional, and didn't leave a huge mess when they left (a pet peeve of mine -- the house shouldn't look worse after the job is finished). I would use TME again and recommend them to a friend.

Tony & his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and the final product looks professionally done and looks great! The gates, when closed, match perfectly.

Tony and the TME team installed the full suite of kitchen faucets, garbage disposal, dishwasher, pot filler, water filter in my new kitchen. Installed a monster Viking double oven. Also 8 light fixtures through out the house. These guys know what they are doing. I have had dozens of contractors come to work for me and Tony takes the cake for professionalism, quality of work, and speed! I wish I could have them do everything for me!

Tony plus his crew of 3 were professional, efficient, fast, friendly,and expert at their work. I feel very confident in the quality as well as the appearance of the work. Tony doesn't bulk up his estimate with things you don't need. Love that. And, he kept to his bid price. Hire TME. You won't be disappointed. I've already booked him to do more work.

TME did a fantastic job. They estimated a day job (9/16-9/18), but in actuality only took one day to do the entire job. Tony came out and estimated the job at $3,995.50. He told me what would need to be done and said the entire job would take 3 days. Tony was extremely nice, arrived early for the estimate and was very personable. Tony and his worker arrived on 9/16 and took additional measurements before getting the materials. He and a crew of three other guys came out on 9/17 and did the entire job in one day. Completely thorough, professional and cleaned everything up. They replaced all the wood beams as quoted and repaired two others, then primed them all. Since I didn't have outdoor paint they couldn't paint them but they are completely ready for my painter. I was very impressed with their work and the guys were all very nice. Now I don't have to worry about my wood rotting and my roof falling! Tony was kind enough and spoke to a next door neighbor for some gazebo work. I also asked Tony for an estimate on some patio work. I highly recommend TME Construction! I will be using them again.

I hired TME because I read the good raves written on Angie's List about Tony, the owner, and his company. .....I wasn't disappointed! Tony lived up to his reputation! Originally I just planned having my wood gate repaired, but after Tony saw all the extensive termite damage, he said the wood on the previous gate was not salvable! Therefore, I needed to have a completely new gate built. I'm assuming if the previous termite company, Olde Time Termite Co., had eliminated the termites properly during their fumigation, all that damage would not have occurred, and I could have managed with only repairs. Tony cancelled on me a couple of times because of his plumbing emergencies, but I guess that happens when you're popular! Once Tony and his partner arrived, they wasted no time in getting the gate built; they worked speedily and efficiently! On those two occasions Tony cancelled, he notified me of the emergencies on a timely manner. I appreciate that from any contractor! I am planning on hiring Tony for my next project.

TME did such a superb job on my closet in my studio office that I hired them to build a much needed storage shed next week! This father and son and their good team did everything right -- and went out of their way to create a beautiful closet that adds to the studio and to the value of the house. They helped me think through complicated decisions to get exactly what would most help me and they did this on time on budget with professionalism and skill in the midst of daunting floor to ceiling boxes - I just moved in. I feel lucky to have found TME and highly recommend them. Thank Tony and Tony and Zack!

Tony and his crew did an excellent job. Not only were they on time but, early. They fixed what was told to us almost unfixable. They were done in an hour and a half. We highly recommend TME.

I put together a list of handyman tasks and set up a meeting with Tony to go over them. After going over the work, we made an appointment for a week later and Tony and his crew showed up in force! They methodically went down the list and got everything done with skill and efficiency. I've hired TME for similar work on several previous occasions, and have always been impressed and satisfied with their services.

Tony is a very nice guy and a great find, so much so I'm reticent to leave him yet another glowing review. My mom is preparing her house for sale following my dad's death and needed to have a closet built in one of the bedrooms. We had four people out to take a look with the quotes ranging wildly from half of what Tony charged to double what Tony charged. We felt very comfortable with Tony, both because he was very competent and also because he was simply a nice person. We hope to work with him again when my mom moves into her new home next year.

Tony came out to look at my home in the beginning of June, but it took him a month to get back to me with an estimate on July 7. The estimate was incomplete and I emailed him back immediately. He responded on July 10 saying that he would send a revised estimate in a few days. Its September and I have still never heard back from him.

Crew did a great job in a timely manner. Very friendly and explained everything. Removed old oven and clean up was perfect. Would definitely recommend them.

This was a great experience. I can't praise Tony and his crew enough! They arrived on time, worked steadily until done, then did an immaculate cleanup. Wonderful experience! Use this company. They are fair and honest. As an example, Tony wrote a bid for $550. I thought that was more than fair. However, he only charged me $400. He said he based the bid on the time he thought it would take to do the job. Because it took less time than he figured, he gave me the benefit! When has a contractor ever done that for you!! On top of that they were friendly, cheerful, did great work and absolutely perfect cleanup. The job may not sound like much, but don't be mistaken. The vines had essentially taken over the sides of the house and the eaves, so much of the work had to be done on ladders 20 feet above ground level. Likewise, hanging a gigantic railway clock above the front door was not easy but they did a perfect job of that as well. To summarize: Honest, friendly, skilled. I would use TME Construction and recommend them to you with no hesitation. Tony and his crew are great!

Tony of TME Construction is a flake. He jacked me on the day of the appointment- the one that I had waited a month plus for- with claims of an emergency elsewhere. He then stringed me along with guarantees of a rescheduled date and time for work to be done on my house but neglected to follow through with a confirmed rescheduled date after I emailed his company twice the same list of additional household items to be repaired and improved upon on top of the original work order per his request. Because he did not respect me enough as a customer to get back with me via phone or email even after I left him a voice message asking him on 8/12/15 if he was still available for repair work on my house ( it's now 8/17/15), I am going to make the assumption that he is no longer interested and / or he is in over his head with life. I wish I had known months ago! I guess the job was too minor for him and ultimately not worth the drive or customer service. Upon first impression, he seemed like a very nice trustworthy person - that's why I picked him- but you can't trust someone who talks the talk and doesn't walk the walk, no matter how nice they appear to be on the surface!

TME arrived on time, with all required materials. They did everything I expect from a top notch contractor. With any job, the unknown can occur. It did turn out that more of my joists needed replacement than we thought. They expedited getting the new joists and stayed on the job until it was done. Their execution, quality and precision to detail was flawless. They did not cut any corners with quality of materials or installation techniques. I highly recommend them.

I had emailed Tony about some doors that needed replaced and some plaster work around the frames that would need patched. He called me the next day to inform me he wasn't able to do my job however he highly recommended another contractor who works on older homes such as mine. He talked with me and made sure I had all the information I needed. He was very kind and personable and I appreciated his thoughtfulness to respond even though he knew he was not making any money off of me. I'm hoping that in the future, if we need a contractor, that Tony is available. If his work is as good as his business ethic I'm sure he would be a fantastic choice.

Tony was friendly, informative, and efficient. He gave us options and explained each of them clearly. He got the job done in a day and even asked for less than his initial quote because supplies turned out to be less than expected. He has since been very accommodating and caring about the project. I would highly recommend him.
