They came on time as scheduled. The two workers did a good job. I had signed up for the "Big Deal" offer for $129.00. However, I was told by the workers that "polishing" would be extra, for an additional $100.00. If anything, why didn't Mark, the owner/manager, tell me about this when I talked to him on the phone to make an appointment? I paid the extra $100.00 because I needed the work done. Then I sent Mark two emails, requesting an explanation, but never heard from him. Being ignored is just as bad for me as paying twice as much as advertized.

Alex's team is superior to any detailing service I ever used! They were prompt, and they worked harder than I've ever seen anyone work in my life. They cleaned EVERY nook and cranny inside and outside of my car! They even went above and beyond and buffed my headlights to get rid of the stubborn fog I could never get clean on my own!Alex and his team were neat and clean. I was amazed that they didn't leave a mess, not even a drop of water was left on the ground!After Alex and his team worked so hard and so fast, my six-year-old car was cleaner than when I bought it brand new!They were friendly, courteous, generous! They do outstanding work. I've had them detail both of my cars numerous times over the past few years. I highly recommend them. They show up on time and do very good work. They sent 3 detailers so the work was done very quickly. I am very conscious of keeping my cars looking great. These guys do just that. I bought the Angie's List Big Deal mobile auto detailing from Starr Mobile Auto Detailing for my wife's birthday. Mark coordinated a time with my wife for his crew to come out the day after her birthday. Crew arrived at our home on-time and went right to work on a 5-year-old car that, over the course of 100,000 miles, has taken a beating inside from our 7-16 year old kids with food, drink, dirt, sand, etc. When they were done, I received a text from my wife "My car looks fantastic! Thank you!" Indeed it does look great - like new! Great experience - would definitely recommend Mark and Starr Mobile Auto Detailing.

Starr Mobile Auto Detailing was very thorough. The coupon was a fine deal and their work was fine as well. They returned calls promptly and came when they said they would.

It was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about Starr, it's owner Mark, or the crew (Ryan, Hannie, & Luis) who actually performed the job. I had bought the Angie's Deal because it had been 2+ years since I had cleaned the car professionally (back before my son was born). And I figured I'd get the value and be done with it. My attitude towards mobile detailing is forever changed, in a good way. Mark was super easy to deal with in terms of scheduling-- very prompt and accommodating. The crew arrived a tad early, actually, and got right to work. I had significant stains all over (yogurt, juice, peanut butter, etc.) and enough crumbs that it looked like the site of a Keebler elfpocalypse. By the time they were done (and it took them almost two full hours), the car looked better than the day I drove it off the lot. Ryan didn't try to hard-upsell me, but he did have a very straightforward conversation with me about the services they offered and the things they could do. I chose to go with the scotch guard treatment. Like I said, I had really only considered mobile detailing because of the deal... but I will be a customer of Starr's now specifically because of their sterling service and professionalism. Well done, sirs.

We used Starr Mobile before on this very same car when it was a special on Angie's List. They are terrific. The guys do a wonderful job on a very dirty and grungy car that emerged sparkling afterwards. I touched the smooth paint when before the surface was rough and dirty. We were super impressed with their work. The only reason I give them a "B" for professionalism is because they broke the plastic holder for the XM Satellite radio on the dashboard and didn't say anything. We really didn't care that they broke the holder, it's just that no one said anything until we saw it afterwards. Mark was wonderful on the phone when I explained it to him and promised to reimburse us. I took the car to Best Buy and they replaced the holder with no problem. But that was minor and we will absolutely use Starr Mobile again.

The cleaners arrived toward the end of the allotted arrival window, and then spent several hours cleaning out a very dirty SUV, which had not received attention in years and suffered at the hands of young children. There are some stains on the carpet which just wouldn't come out. They did a wonderful job on the interior...didn't look like the same vehicle when they were finished. The exterior looked good too. We were pleased with the final result.

I purchased a "Deal" from Starr Mobile Detailing a couple of months ago. We were moving and doing a lot of the work ourselves. We had to put some belongings in storage so we had to move it to storage, then from once we settled so I thought it would be a good idea. Our car was a workhorse and really a mess by the time the entire ordeal was over. it was time to call Starr. Mike was very nice when I called and he accommodated me right away. They arrived on time and were very courteous and got right to work. They worked quickly and efficiently and were done when they said they would be. And how does the car look? Beautiful as the day we bought it. We had deep, black smudges on the exterior mirrors and bumpers. They were gone. Because we also got a polish, all of the scratches were gone - including a long one on the hood. I swear the lights and hub caps shined like diamonds in the sun - they were so bright. The inside was especially filthy, with dust, dirt, milk splats from our toddler's sippy cup spills, mascara on the roof from my attempts to finish my make up in the car, coffee and soda spilled in the cup holders and tar on the mats. They cleaned every inch of our car to perfection. While they couldn't get all of the tar out of the mats, they did remove a great deal of it. The seats are spotless, the floors are clean, the roof has no marks on it and every nook is dust free - even the cup holder that slides out, which I didn't think they were aware of. And the windows - were they rolled up or down? I couldn't tell, they were so clean and shiny. As you can tell, we are so very happy with the detailing they did on our car. It's as beautiful as the day we bought it. I would also like to mention that we had our other car detailed by the dealer and they did not do half the job that Starr did on this one. We will definitely be asking them to return to do our second car.

I spoke to Mark, the owner, and he was very polite and patient when describing the services and prices available. We set up an appointment for the next day. Three employees arrived early for the appointment in their mobile detailing van and got straight to work. Kenny and the guys (Jose and Toby) were all very professional. Kenny walked me through what they would do and they performed the services (describe above) in a couple of hours. The vehicles looked fantastic when they were finished. Kenny pointed out some of the issues they were able to take care of, and some dings that I was already aware of. I was very satisfied with the work they performed, and with the price. I will definitely use them again. I was surprised to find that Toby had even re-installed the kids car seats (and better than I had done previously). I want to stress that the guys were very courteous, articulate and skilled. Overall, it was a great experience with a new service provider and I couldn't be happier.

There were 2 guys. It took them 55 minutes. They sprayed the wax on a rag in one hand and dried it off with rag in the other hand. They were supposed to treat the leather and vinyl. The guy told my wife that he conditioned them and moved along. The quarter of the windows seem dirty and dusty. The guy kept reminding us that we only paid $129 for it. The first thing he said when he got here was that he saw a few scratches that would need an extra $125 to buff out the scratches. He said he had applied the wax that way because it was too hot. I would expect with a job that was supposed to be $365, they should have done a paste wax job.

PAID $$$ FOR HAND JOB...STILL WAITING FOR HAPPY ENDING!!! Let me preface the story by saying that I get my 11 year old Z3 detailed twice a year. I am VERY familiar with the products and processes involved in a top quality detailing job. I know what a paint job feels like after a good clay job, and I absolutely expect water to bead and dance off my hood for several months after a nice hard paste wax has been applied. And so we begin...Caveat emptor! My first clue should have been when "The BROS Mobile Detailers" showed up in a beater matte black van. Evidently my humble Venice address didn't rate a performance from the "A Team" in the sleek black vans pictured on the website! I will say that they did a pretty amazing job with the filthy upholstery and carpet of the SUV (which spends a lot of time off-road), and spent nearly two hours just on the interior. I thought we were off to a great start, but that is where the satisfaction ended. Once they finished the interior of the SUV, they told me that they were in a big hurry to get lunch and get to their next job. I offered to go and buy them lunch so that they would not do a rushed job on the exteriors. They declined. I was estimating, from past experience, they would probably need another couple hours MINIMUM to do both exteriors. Just about 45 minutes later, they announced that they were finished with both cars! I thought they were joking and asked how they had clayed and waxed BOTH cars so quickly? He bragged about how busy they were and all the "expensive" cars they worked on...they were, after all, the professionals! When I ran my the back of my hand along the hood and front quarter panel of the SUV, I complained that it was still very rough. I was informed me that it was "chips in the paint" from being off road. I disagreed and he insisted that HE knew what he was talking about and it was the best that could be done, and YES, they had in fact waxed both cars properly. I knew he was full of it, but arguing with him wasn't getting me anywhere. I pointed out that my headlamps were still "foggy" and I was informed that wasn't included in the detail, but he would be happy to take a few minutes to polish them for an extra $80!!! My rims weren't exactly clean either, but at that point I could see that I was fighting a losing battle. After they sped off to their next appointment, I happened to see the SUV from an elevated viewpoint and noticed that the top of the truck looked very dirty. When I jumped up on the rear wheel to check it out, I discovered that the entire roof was filthy...they had not even touched it! After exchanging a series of text messages with "the president", I was assured that they would be back to fix the problem. I suggested that someone else come out, because clearly, the first two guys thought they had done a satisfactory job and I didn't agree, let alone feel up to the task of micromanaging their work....I just wanted the job done right. The same "nice" boys returned just before dark. When I complained that they couldn't possibly do a good job in such low light, they insisted they did it all the time. They spent a few minutes addressing the roof, then asked if I had other complaints...we revisited the earlier discussion about clay. This time, miraculously, the "off-road chips in the paint" disappeared with a little elbow grease, so I insisted they go over they entire truck again. Next they pulled out some spray wax, and when I asked why they weren't using a paste, they laughed and asked jokingly ..."Why would they want to do that?" when this was so much quicker! Hmmmm, EXACTLY MY POINT, and what a perfect way to sum up the quality that I received! QUICK AND DIRTY!!! After looking more closely at both vehicles the next day, I must say that this was not the "STAR TREATMENT" that I had paid for. I could go on and agonize over all the details that were ignored, but I would risk sounding like a complete lunatic. I simply expected the job to be done right by a company that claims to be the best in the business and charges accordingly. If I had wanted a quickie hand wash and spray wax, I would have gone to the local drive-thru car wash and paid $29.95 Instead, I splurged and ponied up for the "Starr" treatment, thinking I was in good hands. What a joke!. At well over $100 an hour (plus tips!!!), they have quite the racket going. Unless you are really a STAR, don't expect to be treated like one by these guys! TWO THUMBS DOWN...way down!

Called made appointment for the same day and showed up a couple hours later and took 2 1/2 hours to complete 2 cars. Very satisfied

I purchased an Angies deal for car detailing but was not able to use it immediately. Unfortunately, I had to reschedule with Starr a couple of times and Mark (the owner) was always understanding and able to reschedule my appointment at my convenience without any problem. He honored the deal even though the date had expired.

I was really happy with the whole process. Unlike some other providers, I was able to schedule this with one email. Even though they had a lot of responses, it was only a few days wait for the appointment. They showed up on time ready to go, needed nothing from me but my keys and in a couple hours delivered a car that looked better than when I bought it. I would definitely recommend them again, and other service providers can learn a lesson from these guys.

Detailing? Um...not so much. These guys had a deal on AL so I called them up and they came out next day. The gents that showed up were on time, if not a bit early and very friendly. But their work was not 5 star quality. They've got this big van with all these vacuums and what-not but when they claimed to be done the dashboard was still dirty, obviously visible dust on the dash. The dust and grime on the steering wheel under the dash was untouched and so on. They didn't do *detailed* work, I could have gotten the same from my carwash at the office parking deck for $35. Waste of money.
