Their service was not that great. I have a stain glass window that needed to be re glazed. I did not know it needed to be re glazed. When they sprayed the window to clean it, it leaked inside my home and made the paint bubble. I now have to pay someone to repair the window sill.

It went well. He arrived on time, explained the terms of the coupon, and went to work. it took him about an hour. He was courteous and professional.

Just fine. they showed up when promised did a thorough job of cleaning the panels and left no mess or roof damage.

I feel like there was a bait and switch. The provider mentioned no where in their deal how much house the deal covered. Because my house is a larger than typical home, I purchased two Deals to be on the safe side. When I called to schedule the deal, I MADE IT CLEAR to the dispatcher that I planned on using two Deal coupons. She said that would be fine and scheduled the on-site service tech. When the provider arrived, he indicated that the house was too big and that extra money would be needed. I explained to him that I purchased two Deal Coupons, and gave him the information. He called someone back at America's Best and they gave him to the approval to perform the work. He performed satisfactorily. I have no problems with the quality of the work. However, a couple days later, someone from America's Best called me and said that I needed to pay an additional $300 because my house was too big, and since they only allow me to use one coupon. The person I spoke with said that they would "do me a favor" and only charge me $198. I told them that I would only pay them AFTER I was refunded the cost of one of my Deal coupons (by Angie's List). I submitted the refund request to Angie's list. During that time, America's Best called me a couple times asking about their money. I kept repeating myself: " I will only pay them AFTER I was refunded the cost of one of me Deal coupons (by Angie's List)". They knew ahead of time that I had purchased two Deal coupons. I told the dispatcher BEFORE she sent someone out. I told the guy BEFORE he did the job. He told someone at America's Best when he called in (still before any work had been done). There was ample opportunity for them to inform me that I could not use two coupons. In my book, you don't do a job, knowing what the job entails and then call the customer after the fact, asking for more money. In any event, Angie's List refunded my money after a few days and I paid it to America's Best.

We had a good experience, our only issue was that if you do the power wash only special you will be told that you have to have the windows cleaned by them or do it yourself because of potential permanent damage from minerals, etc. So, I would figure that into the special before purchasing. They did an excellent job, they were on time and professional.

This review was submitted online 12/28/12 A single worker arrived within the time period promised, lugging a bucket of water. He started shaking his head when he looked at my windows and said he hadn't been told that I had that many to do. I told him what the deal was supposed to be and he seemed confused, agitated even, and then mentioned that the woman whose windows he'd just cleaned was having a fit because he wasn't going to do all of her windows for $99. Honestly, that's not the way to start a transaction. I live in an old bungalow with four-over-one windows. When I indicated which windows I wanted cleaned (turns out the deal is really for 20 windows only, and each pane counts as a separate window) there seemed to be additional confusion on the count. The sliding glass door would have been an additional charge. I took off all the screens myself and put them back on. The worker had a small step stool which did not appear to be stable. He didn't seem physically up to the task, was winded the entire time he worked, groaned and muttered, and was not what I would call professional. The water he used was not clean; he did not ask to fill up his bucket from my hose. I had him stop before he got to the end of the 20 window count as I just wanted him to leave. The windows were streaked. I was not satisfied and I do not recommend.

My house is very tall and has many windows. The 2 men who came to provide service were prompt and efficient. I would use them again without hesitation. My reason for giving the punctuality question a "C" was because the original date of service was missed and I had to call to reschedule. All else was great.

The company is in California and it took many calls to get the job coordinated with someone in my area. I think that the company is more like a reference company. They seem to have a list of providers and then they coordinate the deal with someone in your area. The job was done fairly well. I paid for 200 sq ft and when the technician arrived he was disappointed that I did not want any more done. I only wanted half of my deck washed as I was tearing down the other half. I also did not want railings done as I was getting new ones made. It is obvious that the deal is the hook and the hope is that you will have to buy a whole lot more when the technician arrives. My only complaint is that the splatter ended up on the windows of my house and no attempt was made to protect the windows or clean them afterwards. The technician was courteous and the deck looked much better after he left. So I was satisfied with the job done, just find out how much more you would have to pay if you need more than the deal offers.

Everything was fine. They did a nice job. The gentleman was professional and on time. We used a coupon from Angie's list.

ans The window washer was scheduled between 11 and 2:00. About noon I called to find out if the scheduler knew about when the person would arrive. She said that she would try to reach the crew and call me back. I didn't hear from her so I called back around 1; she apologized and said that she hadn't heard from the crew but had left my phone number for them to call me. She said that she'd try to reach them again. I called her back just before 2 and she said that they should be at my place shortly. At 2:00 one person arrived. ( When I've had my windows done in the past, it has taken one man the better part of a day to clean my windows and screens--so I was concerned that the job might be rushed or might not be completed.) The young man started, at my request, to do the inside first as I had a 5:00 appointment and figured if he couldn't finish before I had to leave, he could complete the outside after I left. I showed him through the flat (I live on the second floor of a duplex) and pointed out the extra windows that wouldn't be covered by the coupon I'd purchased: a picture window ($15 extra), four glass doors set in regular door size frames ($6 each) and a jalousie window ($6 extra). Also extra would be the inside windows not covered by the difference between the 20 windows covered by the coupon and those I actually had. (Austin said there were10 and charged $30 extra) We also walked around the outside of the building so he could see where he'd be working. Austin used professional window washing tools and was neat in how he used his tools so that he didn't leak water on the floor or rugs. About 5:00 he said that he couldn't finish the south side of the building as the space was too narrow to safely position his ladder there. Apparently he had fallen the week before and had hurt his forehead and he didn't want to take a chance (When we initially walked the outside area, he hadn't been concerned about the space for his ladder and said nothing about it being too narrow.) He told me to call the company and schedule the job's completion. He said that I wouldn't be charged for the 6 windows left to complete. He went over the additional charges with me (see above.). But I neglected to notice until after he left that while he had charged 4x$6 for the doors, he'd totaled that as $42. I called the company and said that I'd been overcharged by $18. The person I spoke with said that she'd speak to management about it and get back to me. I haven't heard, but maybe the person who is coming tomorrow to complete the work will have a check for me. I also told the company that Austin needed more training in regard to how to leave a home after he's done inside windows. I questioned the woman I spoke with as to why they scheduled someone to do a second story duplex's windows who had already fallen from a ladder and might have some issues. No response. After Austin left my home, I also found that he had not reconnected the screens in nearly all the windows, most were still unlatched and my hands don't have the strength to latch them. He also hadn't replaced furniture that he'd moved to get at some of the windows. Some of those pieces are too heavy for me to put back in place. Some of my blinds were left raised, obviously they needed to be raised for him to wash the windows, but they should have been lowered, especially since there are some that I can't lower myself, they are too tightly set. I will have to have my son come over to do it. I have never had my home left in the manner that Austin left it after having my windows washed. So I don't plan to use this company again. If someone is only looking for outside window washing, this company would be fine. As noted above someone is to finish the 6 outside windows tomorrow (5/21/2013), I now only hope that they come. The person that came the next day was experienced and resourceful. He washed the ourside of the windows that needed to be completed by sitting in the window and raising and lowering the window sections, reaching with his arms and doing a complete, good job. If he were the worker to do the windows, it would be a pleasure to work with this company. My check finally came in the mail, but it took at least one more phone call.

Arrived on time, did the job and cleaned up. I could not ask for more.

They washed windows on the back and front of the house. I had to pay extra for the paned windows. But they did a good job and I would use them again.

First time he showed up did not have ladder to do the second story windows. New person just hired for Houston area so did not have all the essentials it seemed. Later came back and had everything he needed and did a good job. Be aware the offer to do your house in advertisement is limited to certain number of windows.

They were service conscious and excellent from the first phone call. The gentlemen who came out to give us an estimate were prompt, clean, cheerful and very informative. They served as consultants in helping us to decide what we wanted and needed. The gentlemen who came to install the windows and doors (which came well within the estimated delivery time) were very professional, leaving us with a finished product and installation that looks great and operates well. They completed the job in one day as promised. The windows and doors are first-rate and are add to the appearance of our home. Finding the screens for the doors that they didn't even install was a real blessing. The company that we originally purchased these doors and screens from is out of business, so we were struggling with a relatively new door screen that was not operating smoothly. America's Best did a phenomenal job of finding replacement screens and getting us an exceptional price for them. This is a family-owned business in the old sense. A business that takes pride in workmanship and service. We will definitely call them with other needs in the future!!!!!!!
