Description of Work: The 2 technicians arrived promptly on time and got right to work. The windows came out beautifully, no streaks anywhere. The men cleaned up and left nothing behind. For only $2.00 additional cost per window they will also clean the screens, which I highly recommend. My windows have never looked better.

Description of Work: after purchased the Big Deal from this company, I found out the reviews of their services were very poor. Especially people who also utilized their service via the Big Deal. I did not want to have similar headaches and poor experiences. So in turn, I asked for a refund and hired a highly, and consitently, regarded company instead.

Description of Work: We signed up for the cleaning deal advertised on Angie's list. (about a month ago). They set a date to come to our house (12-17-12) in preparation for our holiday party. On 12-10-2012 , a rep calls us to say they do not provide the service in our area ( Port Hueneme) and will not be coming out. They said the rep who took call made a mistake. ( took them that long to figure it out). Needless to say we have to scurry around in this busy season To try to find cleaners that are not booked up. So much for our first experience using Angie List recommended contractors.

Description of Work: The cleaners arrived within the window of time that was quoted, and a scheduler called to let me know they were coming. They worked hard and did a good job. Lots of dusting and cleaning in the whole house. Thank you!

Description of Work: The man they sent out was terrific -- thorough, friendly, efficient and willing to climb multiple ladders to get to some difficult windows.

Description of Work: The representative arrived on time. He cleaned the gutters quickly and well. I used a pre-paid coupon from Angie's, and had not expected the cost to be as much over the coupon as it turned out to be. He gave me the price before I authorized the work. Since I did not know what else to do (and needed to have the gutters cleaned on a schedule), i authorized it. I am not sure how much I saved by using the Angie's coupon.

Description of Work: Washed windows for $99. Offered to clean screens for extra $75. He washed windows but argued with me when I told him that certain spots remained dirty. Also, in washing screens, didn't remove them but washed as remained fixed. I told him that some of the screens looked dirty. Again he disagreed with me and said the screens were damaged and couldn't be cleaned. Later, after he left, I took a toothpick and poked through each of the little squares on some of the dirty spots he claimed were damaged and I was able (very easily) to poke out the dirt. One of the screens ( bedroom) he removed and took to his truck to repair. When he brought the screen back, he said he didn't have the part to repair the screen and put it back into the window frame. He told me that later, "when I had them come out and wash the windows again, he would charge me $15 to fix the screen. Later, I notice there was a 1-inch gap where he had tried to put the screen back in. I called the company and complained. The owner (?) told me that there was nothing she could do about it because I had claimed that it was a little "tweaked" when he started. By "tweaked" I certainly didn't mean that it was broken enough that a wasp could come in to the window and cause me angst. I would absolutely not recommend this company and in fact, will not be using Angie's List again because I can't trust your recommendations. sincerely, Patricia Wright

Description of Work: 1. There is NO DEAL here. Once you schedule an appointment, they will upsell you by pointing out that you have to get your windows washed as well since the house cleaning is going to dirty them up. That is an extra $50, which makes the total price for the house and window cleaning the same price as their normal price for house and window cleaning. 2. We both work. So one of use took a day off to be at home for the cleaning. The day of the appointment, we got a call saying that they would not be coming. No apologies. Just asked what other day did you want to reschedule to. That was a day of lost wages. 3. They rescheduled for another day and told us we would have some sort of priority over any new suckers they planned on screwing over. Our appointment time was set from 8-12 PM. The cleaner arrived at 1:15 PM, which became a problem since we had to pick up our kids from school. 4. All told, I calculated that we paid $125 per hour to have a guy spray our house with water. This does not include the time we wasted on the missed or late appointments. 5. The real ripoff is Angie's List. They rated this company as some sort of service award winner, so I blindly trusted them as Angie's List makes you jump through several hoops to get to the actual reviews. In reality, if you read the reviews you'll find several other people that had the exact same problems with the company as I did. From this experience, I learned NOT TO TRUST ANGIE'S LIST! They don't care who they shill for as long as they make money off it.

Description of Work: i purchased a last chance deal of 8 hours housecleaning service through angie's list. they first contacted me and told me how busy they were and that i might have to wait for an appointment. I responded, "fine. I'm always home, just schedule me in when you have availability." They scheduled me for 11/8/12. No show, no call. I emailed 5 times and they finally contacted me. They told me that they were not able to clean my house as scheduled and rescheduled for today 11/9/12. I told them, fine, but i have a 10 am appointment so they need to be here before, or after 11:30. They set up the appointment at 9:00 am. I reiterated my appointment with the scheduler who told me she discussed it with the owner, Amanda. So, this morning, no show and no call, AGAIN! I contacted them by email, they called. Said they would be here at 10:30 am. I reiterated for the third time about my appointment and my inability to miss it. They gave me serious attitude. No apology, in fact, she acted as if the fact that they were late (twice) was somehow my fault. I don't know if they can clean or not, but they sure can't keep their word. How can anyone trust a company like that???

Description of Work: window cleaning. pricing was hard to understand, the person came in and didn't write down any numbers or anything, and gave a quote on top of what I paid to angies list as a coupon. I paid 140 USD on top of the coupon that I paid 99 $ for. If it was easier to communicate and understand which windows actually costed what etc I would like him to do them from inside as well, but it was so confusing and hard to understand, I just wanted them to leave.

All of this was reported to Angie's office at the time. It was mostly Angie's fault for misrepresenting the work to be done and the cost.

Description of Work: I mistakingly thought that the deal was for inside as well as outside. I was wrong. I thought it included all windows... Extra charge for french windows andlarge windows. Extra charge for screens. Not a bad deal, but not as good as I thought it would be.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal coupon which says up to 20 windows. And when I made an appointment, they say I can pick only 20 surfaces (not 20 windows). When the cleaning guys comes, if it is 2nd floor inside surface that is extra charge. And if windows are three compartments, it is considered two surfaces. Some of window has some paint on it, this is also extra charge. So he ended up cleaning only water with rollers and that's it. After cleaning all windows and I paid lots of extra, my windows look still dirty, because he didn't remove old marks and paints (which is another extra charge).
