Description of Work: The deal is a very bad deal. You will have to send much more. Gutter cleaning was done by just using a blower! No downspout cleaning using water.

Description of Work: I called the company about 1 week ago and spoke to someone who said it wouldn't be a problem doing our building since we were only doing 3 sides, not 4. When Desiree called last night, she said they had looked up my building on the internet and it was too large. I told her about my previous conversation with another person, and Desiree told me that the other person was new and didn't realize the size of my property. Desiree told me to contact Angies List for a refund.

Description of Work: Initial start up with back and forth info on what I wanted done updated my address to my home (I use my work address for all correspondence). They had to reschedule due to a staff or duplicate apt meeting. husband took off work for holiday major cleaning. no one showed. no one returned call or email until after holidays. greatest frustration was much undone for holiday guests that I'd not made other arrangements for. Alternate dates to take off just haven't worked for our family. Refund request was referred back to Angie's List.

Description of Work: My experience with America's Best indicates they are completely unreliable. On two separate occasions I made appointments only to have my time wasted because they never arrived. On the first occasion, the job prior ran several hours late and eventually got so late they couldn't come so we rescheduled. On the second occurrence I made it clear I needed a morning appointment window so we scheduled 8:00 - 11:00. After waiting a few hours with no word I called and they moved my appointment to 11:00 - 1:00 without confirming it worked for me. I was told they put another job in front of mine. I do not recommend this company at all.

Description of Work: Responded to Angie's List for $99 whole house window cleaning with America's Best. Signed on but had no response. Contacted Angie's list 2x. AL said they would get on it. So far, nothing. Had exactly the same experience last year.

Description of Work: I did not go ahead and use the service. I decided by the time I paid the extra charges for the "oversized" windows, that it was not the good a value for my money. I am receiving a retirement income, and I must be careful how I spend my money.

Description of Work: The services were: widow cleaning (the big deal), screen cleaning and repairs to two screens. the representative, Hugo, was very polite, cheerful and very good at his job. I was impressed that he repaired the two screens for me because I didn't have the inclination to get them repaired myself.

Description of Work: Company canceled first appointment on day of appointment, because they accidentally double-booked. Re-scheduled several weeks later. Did not call first as requested and promised, but did show up in time frame. Said they didn't see many of my type of older screen frames. Together we tried to make it work, but they did not have the materials to successfully re-screen these windows. People were pleasant and schedule problems were not a big issue. Would have been nice to know the limitations on what they could and couldn't do, would have saved us all some time.

Description of Work: The appointment was made for 11 am but they didn't arrive until 1:30pm. A team of 3 were in and out in 20-25minutes for $119 (about $100 per hour per person!). The 20 windows they contracted to do were actually 20 panes of glass, one side only; each double pane casement window was counted as two so I feel like I only got 10 windows cleaned. Each pane cost about $6. There are water marks left on some of the windows.

Description of Work: Jose did an excellent job cleaning all of the windows -- both inside and out -- and the screens on my two-story home. The original bid was $175 and the price was $205, but the quality of the work was worth the cost. I would use this window-cleaning service again.
