Description of Work: They cleaned all 32 of my exterior windows including two of our sliding doors and the inside of our large upstairs window.

Description of Work: The windown cleaning service was set for 5/3/13 FRiday between 12pm-3pm. I took 4 hours off from work and stayed home for the services. I got a call around 12:20pm from America's Best Inc saying the cleaner was sick and could not make it. I was not happy about this. If the cleaner(s) was sick, they could call me that moring and I did not need to take 4 hours off. Don't trust the story. Bad experince. Will never assign on any service with this company.

Description of Work: Whole house cleaning. We had hoped to have our home cleaned prior to the holidays, but they were booked until January. When they did perform the service they did a very thorough job. My husband and I were impressed and would use this service again.

Description of Work: The offer was to "Re-Screen up to 5 Windows" - which I understood to mean new/replacement screens for up to 5 windows. Ultimatly, the offer was for new screening material for up to 5 existing screen frames. I contacted the company and they were very nice however, in order to get what I thought I had purchased I was going to have to pay additional fees for "framing." I very much appreciate it that Angies List is willing to refund the cost of this big deal. I haven't had good luck with the Big Deals yet but am going to stick with Angies List for their good faith effort.

Description of Work: I made the appointment, I canceled my plans so I could be there and they did not arrive. I called them and they said they forgot to tell the cleaners and could not come Fri. I wanted my windows clean for the weekend! We rescheduled for Mon. They again did not come to clean my windows on Mon, at a great inconvenience to me. I asked for the supervisor to call me, but I got no call

Description of Work: Exterior window cleaning. Company called the night before my appointment to cancel claiming that their contractors van had been in an accident and that they did not know when they would have a new contractor lined up.

Description of Work: Poorly, Missed the original appointment did not record the date for the replacement appointment so no one showed up. when they came today they told me they could not clean my ceiling fans, polish my furniture, or polish my railings. If I had known this I would not have hired them.

Description of Work: A technician from America's Best came to my house and saw the situation for window cleaning in my house. Since my house is situated over a cliff, they cannot clean many windows of my house, because they cannot use the ladder. He recommended me, therefore, to ask for a refund for the coupon I had purchased from Angie's List.

Description of Work: The 'big deal' that Angie's list advertised ($99 for up to 5 screens replaced/repaired) is a BIG JOKE -- so I have requested a refund. First, the 'screen guy' shows up in a regular pickup truck with a half roll of black fiberglass screen material. THAT'S IT. No screen frame material, no wide variety of styles and colors like a screen pro would have on his truck -- just a half roll of cheap black fiberglass that I could buy at Home Depot for nine bucks. Then, when I showed him the two window frames where my dogs had damaged or destroyed the frame -- he said in bad English I could barely understand..."I gotta talk to my boss..." A JOKE. NOT professional. This is the second 'big deal' from Angie's list that has turned out to be a BIG DUD. It's obvious to me these 'big deals' are not thought out -- nor are they good deals for customers -- they are a marketing gimmick and an excuse to upsell and bait and switch, Greed always rears it's ugly head -- huh? Instead of offering a truly good deal, and maybe taking a hit from a 'loss leader' -- but in the process getting a new customer -- it seems like 'America's Best' wants my money -- but will try and upsell and bait and switch me into being profitable for them.

Description of Work: Made approximatley 4 calls total to find out they could not provide service unless I paid a $25 trip charge. They were friendly and courteous on the calls but took awhile to get a response to whether they could provide servece or not.
