Description of Work: They canceled mu appointment 3 rimes then told me they could not fulfill the service on my timeline. We are moving & have no other option but to make other arrangement.

Description of Work: Had an appointment for between 11am and 4pm at 4pm they called saying they are running late and came about 6pm. Guys did a good job re-screening 5 screens.

Description of Work: great expectations dissolved into cancellation after cancellation for a total of six,two of which were my responsibility due to work commitments.Their customer service was terrible,by the time i spoke to Amanda they had lost my business.She tried her best and was very professional,but too little too late.I would not recommend America's Best to Angie's List customers.

Description of Work: I need a few screens and so bought this deal. I spoke to the company-I no longer remember the name-and told them the windows which need screens also have no frames to them for screens. They said they would come to look and we agreed on an appointment. They did not come. I don't go to my house too often as I live and work on Catalina Island, so I am just submitting this now. I thought I might reconnect with them, but in view of the fact that the deals I have bought are only for the value already paid and no more, I think I'll shop around for a company when I'm ready to do this.

Description of Work: Just didn't like the fact that this company did not show up on the day scheduled. We had this scheduled since April and it is difficult to reschedule.

Description of Work: In early May, I spoke by phone with America's Best, the vendor, and scheduled window cleaning at my house for Monday, May 20th, to arrive between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The vendor did *not* call me prior to the 20th to confirm, so on that Monday morning at 10 a.m., I called them to be sure I was still on their schedule. They confirmed my appointment time and my address, saying that the service provider would call me a half hour before his arrival. Despite this reassurance and the fact that I never left the house that day, I did not receive the promised advance phone call and no service provider ever arrived. At 2:45 p.m., I telephoned America's Best, which apologized sincerely for the failure of service, but did not offer any explanation about why the service provider did not appear. They did *not* offer to try to reach the provider to see if s/he was still planning to come. They did offer to reschedule for another day, but as I have recently moved to a different city and am trying to prepare the house for sale, I must travel 250 miles r/t to be at the house for service appointments. given the long trip, I frankly did not want to risk this company's failure to provide services again. I therefore asked for a refund, and they directed me back to Angie's List.

Description of Work: Contacted company to setup an appointment. They were very friendly and flexible. A couple days before the appointment I received a call cancelling due to vehicular problems. When I called back to reschedule I was asked to wait until the CA office could talk to the IL office. I waited and waited, no one called. I called and was told there is still a problem and I would not get service between 2 to 4 weeks. At that point I had decided to go with another company.

Description of Work: Overall, a good experience. the work completed was timely and thorough. Getting started was an issue. Even though, when I made the appointment, I informed them that I had a 3 story home, the workmen did not arrive with a long enough ladder. The appointment was rescheduled, then they cancelled the second appointment because it might rain. They ended up completing the work on a holiday because I was unable to take any more time off work to fit their schedule.
