Description of Work: Company subcontracts out their services so you don't know what you're getting. When they arrived, they wanted to charge $5.00 to remove screens for every window, and $2.00 to wash the window base, even though the coupon was a full-cleaning coupon. They will nickel and dime you on price once they arrive and the window washer they sent wasnt even with their company but subcontracted out and had only been cleaning windows a couple weeks he said. Terrible experience.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal from Angie's List for window tint with America's Best. I called and scheduled an appointment for the installation. The appointment date came and went with no confirmation, cancellation or any communication at all. I waited a month and then called them again to schedule an appointment. The date came and went again with no call or communication whatsoever.

Description of Work: Provider did not respond quickly to my attempts to arrange an appointment. When I was contacted, the provider said that a surcharge would be added to the offer because my address was deemed outside of their normal service area. No qualifier of such a surcharge was mentioned in their original offer. There has not been any follow up on the part of the provider to rebate the fees that I have paid for services never rendered.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal coupon for America's Best. They cleaned the inside and outside of windows. They wiped down the window sills as well.

Description of Work: I considered this "deal" a "bait and switch". The $99 window washing deal turned out to be a lot of" fine print" that added up to much more than $99.00. The person who was sent to clean my windows and give me a price for the services rendered was rude and obnoxious. I was so offended that I told him to eave my house. I would never use this company, and after talking to a manager, received a refund of $99.00. Because of this horrid experience I will never use a "deal" from Angie's List again.

Description of Work: I called America's Best to set up having our 7 windows washed. I explained that they flipped inward to wash the outsides and that they are very tall, in 3 sections. When the men came, they had never delt with this type of window, and could not really figure out how to do them. It was mutually agreed that they should pass on the job. I tipped them and they left.

Description of Work: No. That was the base estimate for a paint job for a 1,200 sq. foot house. I thought the price was extremely high. Also did not cover extra trim or garage.

Description of Work: When I bought I asked them if I could have a large sliding glass screen door re-screened instead of the 5 minutes and they agreed. On May 3rd someone came to pick up the door - but unfortunately they had a compact car and could not take it (as it was supposed to be fixed on the spot) The they one bedroom screen with them. I called them and explained the situation and they said they would send someone to fix it on the spot in three weeks. The guy arrived and did not have the materials to do the job. I called the office and was told the person handling the situation was not available. Not once did anyone call me and offer an apology. Not a way to do business.

Description of Work: I was disappointed that after having my appointment on the calendar for over a month, the service provider called me two days before to let me know they could not make the appointment day at all, they needed to reschedule, but were only available one other day that week, which happened to be the only day I was not available.
