Description of Work: Gutters were cleaned rapidly but residue fell on our garden window and could have been rinsed off. To their defense this problem may have not been apparent from the rooftop.

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 Big Deal for Fall Gutter or Downspout Cleaning. Everything was great! I use them for everything though! They always do great work! I love them. They are always on time and make sure everything is done right.

Description of Work: The service was good with one exception.I live in a victorian house & was not informed until the provider arrived that I would pay more because my building is 2 floors. It should be made clear when purchasing the Deal.

Description of Work: I phoned and was assured by the company that my replacement casement windows (2 casements, side-by-side) equalled one double hung window. When the cleaners arrived, they said that I was wrong; that 2 side-by-side casements was 2 windows and the cleaning would cost twice as much. After much discussion they agreed with what their company said and did the job -- poorly. Maybe they were just mad because I told them to do what their company said or go home.

Description of Work: (Note: Angie's List lost my original review, and I don't remember how much it ended up costing.) | | After I made my appointment to have my gutters cleaned, America's Best called to reschedule twice. The person who ultimately showed up to do the job was a subcontractor who did a very good job. But he was a subcontractor, which makes it hard to grade America's Best on the quality of the job. | |America's Best charges by the linear foot (which is explained in the contract), and the actual footage of our gutters turned out to be well, well beyond my own estimate. (I used the rough dimensions of the house for my calculation.) Whatever the final bill was, it was well more than I had expected, so I would urge you to carefully measure your gutters, if possible, before using a service like this.

Description of Work: They pressure washed most of my house including windows. Here's the deal... I'm not the pro they are?? The lead guy knocks on my door. He doesn't communicate well (Personality & language barrier). So I take the initiative and ask him, "Is there anything I need to do/know before you start pressure washing?" He says, "No." My house was built in 1926, most of my windows are original. Does anyone who works in SF not consider this??? Needless to say, my windows are not air or WATER tight!!! After it's all done there is water coming into my house. My custom drape linings are covered in gray/black dirt from water spraying through the window cracks!!! I would say this was a 'deal' for the company but not me. I cleaned my curtain for hours after they left. I would never recommend them to my friends.
