I signed up for one of these Angie's List Big Deals. The teasing rate is $99 for the first 100 feet and then $1.5 per foot afterwards, the down spouts are counted separately. Making an appointment is no problem and the guy shows up on time. What surprised me is that he brought his son to help him, and he does not look older then 12 years old. He came in an unmarked truck, though he did have America's Best t shirt on. The contractor I used last time came by with a team of three men and charged me less. The guy and his son proceeded to use tape measure to measure my house. Considering my lot is on a slight slope, I don't know how accurate that measurement is and there is no way I can verify the measurements. He told me I have 348 feet of gutter, even though my house is only 1540 sq. ft. Since I paid the deposite to Angie's List already, it is hard for me to back out, so I OK the job. It took him less then 2 hours to finish the job.His son did not go up the roof, but did occasionally climb up the stairs to check on his dad. This kind of makes me nervous. I think the guy did an OK job, but then my gutters were not that dirty to start with.I think counting the down spouts separately is unfair, since when you flush the gutter, where is the water going to go except down the down spouts! It is not like any extra work was done. Furthermore, having only one guy show up with his kid is unprofessional. This makes me wonder about liability, and I thought they were licensed and bonded. The fact is gutter cleaning is not a highly skilled job. If they came by on their own and gave me a bid of $471, I would not have hired them.

I would recommend them to others. They were pretty responsive and punctual. I guess they were professional.

They didn't do anything! I used the Angies List Big Deal to pay for rain-gutter cleaning, but the vendor never contacted to schedule it even after repeated attempts to contact them.

They were courteous on the phone. The two workers showed up on time. They were courteous and friendly at all times. They worked for a while, packed up, gave me the bill and wanted to leave. Upon inspecting the work it was clear that they had not completed all of the steps of their process as outlined in the scope of work defined on their web page. step by step: "We start by removing all dirt, leaves and other foreign objects from not only your gutters, but also your roof;" Yes, they did this pretty well. "Then we flush your downspouts to make sure everything is flowing properly;" They did this, but one downspout was still filled with dirt at the bottom. They had not inspected it. They promptly and courteously cleaned this out when it was pointed out to them. "We finish the gutter cleaning by wiping down the gutters to remove the dirt that has built up on the exterior;" They made no initial attempt to wipe down the gutters. When I pointed this out they seemed surprised that I would ask them to do this, as if they were unaware they were expected to perform this task. I had to print out the page from their own website where the scope of work is described. I just expected a wipe down with a wet rag to remove the top layer of dust, grime and cobwebs from the gutters exterior surfaces. They needed to call the office to make sure it was OK to wipe down the exterior of the gutters. I had to walk around and point out the areas where they needed to wipe down the gutters. It was a little awkward and time consuming for me but they were courteous about it. They completed the work in an average manner but not without a fair amount of oversight and time on my part to ensure the work was done to completion. They made no attempt to clean up the dirty runoff sludge from the downspouts on my patio and driveway leaving some temporary stains. Not a big deal in itself but this is the kind of attention to detail that separates average C ratings from excellent A ratings.

I took advantage of Angie's Big Deal for gutter cleaning on Nov, 28. I sent an email to America's Best Window Cleaning, and Desiree contacted me immediately, and we set an appointment for Dec. 1 between 8:00a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Gilbert, the technician, arrived promptly at 8:00, and spent an hour cleaning the gutters. I asked him about two problems I had noticed during the last heavy rainfall, and, after inspecting the gutters, he answered them to my satisfaction. I was very happy with the quality of the service and how quickly I was able to obtain the appointment..

Showed up on time, charged exactly what they quoted, worked quickly and without supervision, and then left. Cleen-up was a little mixed and I had to sweep up after but it wasn't that big a deal. I would definitely recommend this deal to anyone looking to have screens made on site.

This was a great experience. They were professional and quick. I keep thinking that we've left our sliding glass door open but it's just CLEAN. What a difference. We bought the Big Deal for this job and had to pay a little extra for the additional windows, but we were so happy that we will definitely call them next time we need the windows cleaned.

In preparation for Thanksgiving I purchased this deal for window cleaning which was supposed to be done today. They gave me a window between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. I took the morning off work.I received a call at 8:30 a.m. advising that the crew had a flat tire. I asked if it were possible for another crew to come today. I received a call at 10:00 a.m. wherein I was told they were in Van Nuys which is 15 minutes from my house. They said they could come to my home in "1 hour." I waited for them but no one showed up. At 11:15 I called but they could not get in touch with their guys. Therefore I cancelled today's appointment and we rescheduled for Monday between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. They showed up at my office by mistake at 11:30 a.m.At 3:00 p.m. I received a call from them saying the earliest they could reschedule was for the following week, i.e. approximately 2 weeks from now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

I purchased a "Big Deal" coupon from Angie's List, which gave me a certain amount of square footage for the price. This allowed for the 3 windows along the front of my home, which gets the most direct sun exposure. to be tinted It also allowed for tinting one of my windows in my second floor hobby room. The installer was professional, and did a very competent job. I am thinking of calling them after the rainy season ends to clean all the windows in my home.

They did a really nice job. He worked a whole half a day.

We purchased a Big Deal through Angie's List for gutter cleaning. We had to pay an additional fee because we had more square footage of gutters than what was covered by the deal. The work was well done. The workers arrived on time, did what they were supposed to do, and cleaned up the mess afterwards.

They did the repair, but one of the window had some gaps in it and it was not sized correctly. The rest of the window were good. I called them and asked them to come back and address the issue. At this point, no one has contacted me back.

REPLACEMENT/New screen is VERY THIN fiberglass - would have been VERY happy to pay for heavier material. May stop flies - but not an old cat. Screen on door needs to be tightened - called them but no response so far. EMPLOYEES WERE EXCELLENT.

Their price was a little bit high but they did a great job on the windows and the screens. They just are really good. I've used them a couple of times. I think their price on the windows is fair but with the rain gutter it was a little more.

I thought that they were pretty good. The only thing I disliked was that one of the contacts wasn't put on carefully on one screen got replaced, but I was able to fix it. Other than that, they were pretty good.

I bought these services through an Angie's Deal. The service provider arrived early, confirmed the job and which windows I wanted re-screened. Then he performed the job in no time flat. He was quiet, no blaring radios. He asked me to take a look at his work half way through to make sure I was happy. When I asked him to apply the screen a little tighter he patiently explained to me why it was not wise to do it too tight. Then he proceeded to make me happy by acquiescing to my request yet still not putting the screen on too tight which might cause it to tear. I was very pleased with his work and would not hesitate to use this company again.

They did a great job! We paid a little extra for them to cover all the windows not paid for with the Big Deal. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

They scheduled the appointment right away when I called. They did not start off very well, but they did a really good job on cleaning the solar panels. They were already a highly rated provider. They came and cleaned up everything. I used the Angie’s List Big Deal coupon for the work, and it was a very reasonable price. I certainly intend to use them again in the future.

They did an outstanding job and that is why we had them do everything at the same time. We will use them in the future.

Made the appointment to have the window tinting done between 8-12 on August 5, and the installer did not come during the time allotted and showed up a few hours later. If I had not called the office several times, I'm sure the installer would not have shown up, since he was busy with the previous appointment. In regards to the application of window tinting, when I inspected the job, I noticed that the installer sealed in visible debris under the film on some windows, near the edge of the windows. I assume this happened when he scraped debris from along the edge of the window and then did not wipe it off before applying the tint. I emailed the company about this and they said that if the debris is still there after two weeks, I can call them again. I gave it more time, and now at nearly 8 weeks, the debris is still there. I plan to call the office to have them come out to remedy this, and to possibly to have more windows tinted. However, I expect them to do a better job than last time. As a note, on Angie's "The Big Deal" promotion for this service, Angie listed the service as a $550 value, but the installer said that the advertised value is overly inflated and not true.
