Provider showed up but was not equipped to do the job. We have a two story house and he had no ladder with him and wasn't sure as to how to count the windows for the charge. At this point we said cancel!! Sorry that it is hard to post comments when a service isn't as stated so others will be informed.

It didn't :"go." Not Applicable. I'm only filling this out because Angie's List harasses me EVERY D*** TIME I sign on to review this company which DID NOT PERFORM ANY services for me.

They were great workers and did a wonderful job on the windows. Very pleased.

A high priced, high overhead company sends a low paid worker to your house to do the unskilled labor of cleaning windows, then pockets 50% of the purchase price for themselves. Caveat: The worker did a good job but the company did little or nothing to add competitive value to the purchase price of the work completed. I overpaid and should have hired a motivated college kid directly.

A team of two completed the work in two hours. The male cleaned the bathrooms and the female cleaned the kitchen.

I think they were good and there were no additional charges to the Big deal.

They cleaned the inside and outside of 10 windows. I had hoped that they'd dust off the screens or put the screens in properly and there were a few that weren't put in properly. I had a couple screens fall out -- all they did was squeegee the windows.

It didn't go very well. They didn't come out the day they were supposed to and they only came out the following day after I called. Within 15 minutes, the gentleman really couldn't do it because the gutter was frozen and he had to come back the next day. However, he told me that he wanted a check for $60 over the $99 I had already paid. I gave him the check because I felt a little at ease but I cancelled the check after he left. I called them up and told them that I really didn't think that it was necessary that they come back. It was a "Big Deal" purchase which Angie's List refunded. We haven't even heard him put the ladder to even judge if the gutters were filled. He said he did but they were only here for 15-20 minutes. It would take at least 5-10 minutes for one person to put a ladder up to the top of my house.

The service turned out really well. Two guys came out for the service. They did exactly what the deal stated. The staff were very professional and did the job in a very safe manner since I had a 2 story home. Scheduling was not an issue.

They were awesome. The price was very, very reasonable.

They didn't show up and did not answer their phone. it was a Saturday. When contacted on Monday they stated that they had temporarily stopped providing housecleaning services. They did not seam particularly appologetic. I work and am a part time care-giver for my mother who lives in assisted living near me. Given that, my house had gotten a bit dirty. I was so looking forward to getting my house clean. To characterize my feelings as disappointed was an understatement. Also, I waited arround all day. If I had known, I could have cleaned myself. It took me a long time to get over this.

Way overpriced and they tried to add on costs.

I was moving out of my rental home and wanted to leave it especially clean for the owner so I purchased the big deal for $179 for DEEP Housecleaning for a Day! This was to be for 8 man hours (2 workers for 4 hours). The house was 95% empty as almost all of our belonging had already been moved out. This meant that they had very easy access to clean everything without items needing to be moved. Immediately after walking through my front door, it was obvious to a worker that I was moving out. She asked if I was moving into a house or an apt, to which I replied a house. She said that she would give me her name and personal phone number so I could call her to clean my new home. She specifically requested that I not call America's Best for cleaning, but instead call her. This offer was completely unsolicited as I had no intention of hiring a cleaning company to maintain my new home. The one worker who did most of the talking was clearly the one in charge telling the other worker what to do. I told them my main concerns were the 2 bathrooms and the kitchen. They each started cleaning a bathroom and then moved on to the kitchen. I asked if the cabinets (which were empty) in the master bath were cleaned inside & I was told yes. After they left I could clearly see this was not done at all. The worker cleaning the kitchen told me the inside cabinets didn't look dirty so she wasn't going to wipe them. I requested that she clean them anyway and she did. I requested that the light switches & electrical outlets were wiped down to remove fingerprints/marks all of which could be easily removed. A dry cloth was used to "lightly dust" them not cleaning them at all. There was still dust along the top of the switch plates which I pointed out three times. I wanted the baseboards/door frames wiped down but again they were only "lightly dusted" and they were not even dusted well! I also wanted the window sills wiped down. The outspoken worker told me that was not included in the package I purchased even though window sills were an example in the description of the work that could be done when I purchased the big deal. She refused to wipe them down but the other worker (who hardly spoke) did clean them for me and did clean them satisfactorily. The lead worker was VERY lazy and clearly did NOT want to work while she was at the home. I would constantly find her leaning against the kitchen island and this began after the first 30 min. she was in the home. If I didn't approach her and tell her specifically what to do, she would do absolutely nothing! For example when I asked about wiping the switch covers, she would "clean" them in one room and then go stand in the kitchen again. I asked if all switch covers were cleaned and she would respond "No. You want me to clean other ones in the house?". Of course I did! She made me feel very uncomfortable having to ask her to do her job. And when I would tell her that the work was not satisfactory/areas weren't clean, she would complain, take less that 5 min to "re-clean" the areas and immediately return the standing against the kitchen island. I even had my husband leave work to come home & see if he could get them to be productive and clean well, but his requests didn't result in any changes. This cleaning would not have been acceptable if it had been described as light cleaning but it was the furthest thing from a DEEP clean. It was evident the work was not going to be completed well no matter what my husband or I did, so we just decided to let them leave after less that 2 hours (4 man hours). I immediately called the company but was given the runaround repeatedly. I was told the person I needed to speak with, Desiree, wasn't in the office but she would return my call (never happened). When I would call back and speak with Desiree I was then told she didn't have any authority to help me but that she would talk to her boss and then call me back with a resolution, but that never happened either. I spoke with Desiree on a few occasions but the issue was never resolved. She asked what I wanted- to which I responded a 50% refund would be fair. In reality, I felt that asking for a 75% refund was justified, but I didn't want to appear greedy. I asked for the refund because I had already moved out of the home so giving them a second chance to the work was not an option. I also told her about her worker trying to solicit personal business and how unprofessional I found that. Desiree didn't even appear concerned. If customer service had been understanding, attentive and willing to refund some of my money, I would have given the company a much better review. I understand that there is a high turnover rate in the housecleaning business and that some workers will be bad. I didn't want to hold this against the company but considering how I was treated, I feel the terrible review is completely justified.

They did a good job. His work was neat and clean. He showed up on time and was polite.

The service worked out okay. One of the screens is already broken again. I kept being up sold, they kept saying they will provide me 5 screens or we should have this done, which was more of a c'mon for me to get more things. I just had screens needed to be repaired and not anything more. They showed up on time, and they did every thing on time, but when you come in, and do a bait and switch, that is not professionalism for me. Professionalism is when you come and do what you have been paid for.

Punctual, friendly and completed the work as promised. I will call again next time the need arises.

The work and scheduling were both fine. The technician was also fine and the price of service was good.

They cleaned the gutters and the windows. However, there were a few gutters they didn't even clean out. He brought his son and they had a lot of charges in addition. I just wouldn't have them back.

They did a fine job. I saw what I thought was some streaking and later found out my double pane windows had actually been compromised prior to the cleaning so there condensation forming between the panes. Again, their work was great and they did not damage the windows, they just helped me discover the windows were compromised.

I purchased a $249 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. We had to reschedule once or twice because they had mechanical service. They came out within a month after I purchased the deal because they were busy. It was a good value for the money. They were on time when they finally did come.

They work was great. They were efficient. There was one person here doing the work and scheduling was good.

Yes, they cleaned the gutters, but did not inform me that the downspouts were clogged up to the gutter so clean gutters meant nothing until I called RotoRoooter to clean them. Another expense. They agreed they should have told me, but I don't recall that there was any compensation for the oversight.

The service went fine. There was an extra charge due to the size of my home and the length of the drains. The additional fee was reasonable. It was easy to schedule an appointment, as well.
