I had a sales call with this team to try to get an understanding of the product and how it all worked. I was then talked over and told that I was telling them how they were running their business when I was just simply trying to get an understanding. The rep then tried to gas light me into thinking that he had answered all of my questions, I was then told to “be quite and listen” and was then told “this won’t be a good fit. Horrible experience.

The job was done very professionally starting from day-1 with providing consultation and site evaluation. Once the job started, the crew take care of the site very nicely. They come in clean and they leave the house clean without me to worry anything. Vista even offer 3 months zero interest financing of the system. They are good people of good company, I think anyone who works with them will like the service they provide.

My wife and I recently had solar panels installed on the roof of our home by Vista Solar. We would like to pass on how enjoyable the entire process was. From the very first visit from a sales rep to the last day of the install everything went very smoothly. We explained what we were looking for and were presented with several options to choose from. Normally construction involves running around filing paperwork, getting permits, arranging for inspections and what not. It was very pleasant discovering that we didn?t have to do any of those fun chores; Vista Solar did all of the legwork. The installation crew arrived when promised and did the work very quickly; anyone who came to the house seemed genuinely interested in our project; we were not just another install. We asked many questions of just about everybody and got quick answers at every stage. We did have a minor issue one afternoon when one of the installers slipped off abeam in our attic and ended up about half way into our kitchen pantry. This didn?t slow anybody up and the gaping hole in our ceiling was fixed by the end of the day! Post project I have called several times with questions and have always been able to contact a person and get an answer. Thank you very much for helping making the greening of our home, quick easy and fun all around.

Vista Solar installed my solar power system in January of 2009. Their proposal was thorough and they presented a number of options. I evaluated the proposals from several companies, before selecting Vista Solar for my system. Their proposal worked out to have the least cost per kW (the cost above is after the CSI rebate but before the 30% federal tax credit). Once I selected Vista Solar, they immediately drew of the plans and began to work with the city planning department to obtain the necessary permits for the job. The installation crew was very professional, showing up when scheduled, working a full day, and cleaning up at the end of each day. The disruption of my daily routine was very minimal. The system was completed on time, about five days after they began the job. They also provided all the paperwork required for the California Solar Initiative rebate and to support the Federal 30% tax credit. I am very satisfied with my solar power system from Vista Solar. I highly recommend Vista Solar, if you are considering a project of this type.

After witnessing the work Vista Solar performed at my Grandparent's home, when it came time for my Husband and I to have solar installed, there was only one choice for us. Our salesperson was knowledgeable, and professional. The work was scheduled, and everything was done on-time. We received a call to let us know the days the crew would be working at our home, and they were there when they said they would be. There was no residual mess, and everything was clean upon them leaving each day, and the panels themselves are nice looking and unobstructive. Upon completion, a walk-through was scheduled. After six months, a follow-up was scheduled to ensure that the installation was still functioning properly. We have enjoyed looking at the online site tracking the performance of our panels, and our PG&E bill has dropped from the $200 range to less than $30 a month. We have been very pleased with the service that has been provided by Vista Solar, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solar panel installation.

SANTA CLARA, CA 95051 In 2009, Vista Solar installed a 5 KW Solar Panel system on the roof of our house in Sunnyvale. Even though there were a few situations which caused the work to slow down, such as dealing with a steel roof on top of a cedar shake roof*, an electrical box upgrade, and other small factors out of Vista's control, Vista was able to solve all the above problems, working together with other contractors. Vista's technicians, Mark Havran, and Chris Herbert, were very thorough in their work. They were always on time, they did a superb job, a clean installation, and left the premises spotless after the job was completed. The system is working very well. So far, from June to end of October, our PG&E bill was at the minimum ($5.77), and we even have a credit. (We have a pool, thus in the summer months our electrical bill is about $170.00). Jonathan Kolodiski, a liaison between the company and the customers, was always very attentive, and if there were any questions, or issues, they were always resolved. I was worried to use Vista Solar because they are the 'new kids' on the block doing solar installation. My fears were put to rest and I was amazed with everything the company has to offer. The company not only gave us a competitive bid but they took the time to explain the process of solar installation and each Solar option available to us. Together we designed a system for optimum efficiency. When it came time for the installation the crew arrived on time and kept us informed of each phase of the job along the way. I am so happy with our new solar system! During the summer months, (with the pool and air conditioning running), our PG&E bill was over $1,000.00 each month. Last month - I kid you not, my bill for PG&E was only $ 463.00! Solar Power Rocks! Vista Solar gets my vote and I am HAPPY to recommend them to others.
