He misdiagnosed it as a blocked P valve. When I questioned him on it, he got angry at me because he thought I was suggesting that he was trying to cheat me and make me buy a new toilet. So I had to calm him down. Then, he thought of a different solution. So, he replaced the inside of the toilet and charged me $300 and it did not address the problem at all. I called the owner and he said that he would send a supervisor out. The supervisor was late. He didn't call, wasn't nice and didn't offer me any kind of a discount. He offered me that he could replace the toilet at the usual cost. There was no apology, no explanation and no discount. I don't like them. I just decided that I've had enough of them. I have felt that they are very expensive. I'm done with them. The workers were sullen and arrogant. They left the area the way plumbers usually leave it, which is a little bit dirty. I would tell a friend to stay away from them.

The guy who came out Robert Ward was really good. He worked really hard inside and outside of our home. They tried to be competitive with the price. He cleaned up well after the work was done.

I thought they were pretty bad. I wouldn't use them again.

The company is now Rapid - Triple A Plumbing, based in Santa Clara. It took over the "Let Stinky Do It" Mountain View business and has kept the records which are over a decade old. The phone dispatcher could immediately see my service history, and she dispatched a plumber, who would call before he came. Victor did just that, within the time window I was given. He was very professional and explained why we were having problems with the drain pipes. He then cleaned out the pipes so that they drained. The workers must clean from my roof because there is no clean-out drain on my sink wall, which there should be. I corroborated what Victor said with a Palo Alto building inspector, who said that cast iron, aka steel, pipes wear out after 40-50 years. (Sugar reacts with the cast iron, as does alcohol, he said.) I learned that HDPE pipe is more flexible, important for slab foundations in earthquake country.

The good thing about them is that they are repiping specialists. They are in and out of there in two days. They come in the first day and they tear out the old stuff and put in the new. They leave the sheetrock open so that the inspectors can come and approve the permit. They sheetrock over it and finish the job the next day. If you hire a lot of other plumbing outfits, it would take them a week. We paid extra money to get them in and get the job done fast. They did a pretty good job. There were some little things that harnessed the job a little bit. When they left and I turned on the water in the bathroom, it leaked. I had to call them back to do that. When I spend $6000.00 on a job I don't expect to have a leak. They came right back and they fixed it. They did alright. I would use them again in the future.

Instead of digging a trench, they inserted a pipe inside the existing one. It was expensive work but it has worked well for the last two years. It took them a whole day to work on it and several trucks had to come out. It was very professionally done, they had the proper tools, and they didn?t make a mess. It seemed expensive but when you have a sewer problem you don?t look around for a better price.

They have come out and done repairs. It kind of varies when they come out. They can be very cautious and then other times they can be really quick. They are good with the work they do. This last time they wanted to sell me a bigger job. They wanted to vacuum out the inside for another $160. They said the igniter had a little coloring on it and wanted $260. It ended being about $1,000 and I said that was too much. They pinpointed the problem real quick and replaced the board. The work on that was really good, but they were trying to get more work. The price was probably normal for the work they did. They were quick to respond in all cases and were right on the nose as far as punctuality. We had three different technicians out.

We have had some concerns about the work that was done last month. The sink didn't really seem to be draining properly. A field supervisor and technician arrived, assessed the situation and set about cleaning out the clogged kitchen drain. The technician that had done the work last month is no longer with the firm. Apparently used practices outside company policy including over-charging customers.

I had been using them for a long time and I had been very happy but then they got a new crew or something and ever since the customer service has been terrible. I had a man come to my house to fix the problem but he didn't show up at probably 11:30 at night and he didn't come prepared because of miscommunication in the company.

We called on Labor Day morning after trying unsuccessfully for 2 days to resolved the clog ourselves. The plumber arrived within an hour! Also, there was no additional charge for service on a holiday. He did a great job. He recommended that we buy a particular piece of equipment and showed us how to use it so we will be able to fix it ourselves if the problem reoccurs. Highly recommended!

We had to call this plumber and they came right out and cleared the drain.

Great! I called, and they said they'd be out in an hour (on a Sunday), called right back and said that someone was on the way. In 20 minutes he had both drains working. Very professional, he cleaned up everything before he left. Would definitely call again.

They did a fine job. It only took them two days to complete everything. They did a nice job cleaning up when they were finished and they seemed to be very knowledgeable about the units they were installing. They cleaned up at the end of each day and I thought they were professional.

Went very well. They came within a couple of hours on a Saturday, the plumber was knowledgeable and pleasant. The valve had started working intermittently; he told me that deposits and debris build up in the valve over time, and recommended replacement. The valve was quite old, I agreed to replacement, and even with having to go to the store for parts, the whole job took less than an hour. He cleaned up and from my inspection, the workmanship was good.

They are usually OK, but I had questions about one of the slow drains because it was not corrected and I had paid them about $1500 last year for new tub, tub fixtures, and pipe replacement. The plumbers recommend that I install new waste overflow in both tubs, but I want to know what that means and an estimate of the cost in light of the fact that I bought all new fixtures last year for one of the locations. I could never get a return call from Eloy, the mgr. His helper said she would speak with him and call back but I have not heard from her. When I called today I was told both were on the phone and then that she had left the office and he was "chewing someone out" on the phone. I have had an account with them for many years and am very disappointed with current management. Quality of work depends on the person they assign to the job.

The work was difficult, he had to do it from the roof through the vents. He was very methodical, explained what he did along the way. He was polite and professional. The price was below what I expected.

We had no hot water in the sink in the bathroom and Stinky came and discovered it was a part inside the handle, he then sent my husband to get the part, which did not please us. While my husband was gone, he placed the new screw in the shower handle, but the screw was too short and it still keeps falling off. The faucet on the sink does now have hot water again.

The gentleman they sent out was very nice and knowledgeable, however, I do think that he could have gotten the job done a little quicker then he did. They did charge me by the hour for labor only as I had already pre-purchased all the material myself. I really don't think that I would use them again because I think that they take their time to do work for you so they can bill you more.

I called Saturday for a Monday appointment and was given a 9-12 time slot. They called about 15 minutes before arriving at 11 AM and performed the work within one hour, charging the minimum for the call.

Continually promised a quote for over two weeks. Four calls to them later I still have no quote.

I have been dealing with tree root intrusion into my 50-year-old sewer line for years (much of it on my own). This was the first company out of several I had used previously, which actually changed the auger/cutting bits 3 times for a more thorough cleaning. The worker was professional, on time, & the price was perhaps 30% less than most competitors.

THIS IS THE THIRD TIME WE HAVE USED THIS PARTICULAR PLUMBING SERVICE IN THE 17 YEARS WE HAVE LIVED HERE. WE HAVE FOUND EVERY SERVICE PERSON THAT HAS COME TO OUR HOME TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE, PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL.

My experience with this company was great. They had very polite employees. They did clean up after themselves after the work was done. They were very punctual as they said that they were going to show up at a certain time and they did. They even did a good job at cleaning up after themselves.

My overall experience with AAA Plumbing was great. They have good quality employees, as they know what they are doing. They were concerned about making sure they clean up after themselves nightly. It did take them four days to complete the work however they did not take a short cut.

This company did an excellent job. They had high quality work & were very clean about the work they did. They had good, professional employees. I did not have to pay for the furnace due to a city ordinance. They did an excellent job for the work that they performed. The people were very courteous & showed up on time.
