Sousa's Garage Doors

They were just wonderful and he did a great job. The price for the job was very reasonable considering the fact that he did things that we did not even ask him to do. He just saw that they needed to be done and he did them. We looked on his website and saw all these nice garage door jobs that he had done. We have an older house and were embarrassed about our old garage door and then he told us that he had done some of the other garage doors in our neighborhood. We will eventually remodel and I will definitely call him when I get ready to replace the garage door.

The gentleman giving us the estimate showed up just as scheduled. Was very informative. He took our order and we received a call a couple days later to set up the installation - which took place a couple days after we were contacted. Alberto arrived on time and did an excellent job of removing the old door (and hauling it away) and installing the new door and opener. He gave us a thorough briefing on what we needed to know about the new door and opener. He cleaned up what little mess he made. We would highly recommend Sousa's Garage Doors.

Sousa's showed up promptly (actually early) and smoothly performed the install within the 1 hr quoted time. The installer shifted the rail position slightly from the old install for stronger support of the garage door (I would have missed this if I installed it myself).

I called at 8 on a Monday morning and was told they could maybe send someone about 2 or refer me to someone else. I chose the 2 o'clock time. I had a call back by 8:30 from Joe saying he could come around 11:30. He arrived on time, did the work, and did not try to sell me anything, even when I inquired if I should replace the opener. My garage door works fine now.

The worker arrived on time, was very pleasant, explained things well, and finished within the time indicated.

I love a company who tells you you don't need to spend extra money for things you don't need. The estimator, Joe, came out and measured and gave me a very reasonable estimate to replace my old garage door. He said I didn't need a new garage door opener, nor the highest level of insulation. I ordered the door, and the installer was right on time, and installed the door quickly and professionally. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We had a positive experience from start to finish. Their office staff was very informative. On the day of installation they showed up on time and were very professional. We are completely satisfied with the results.

I called Saturday afternoon and left messages at two garage door companies, both of which were closed Saturday afternoons and Sundays. But, Albert called me back first thing Monday morning before the other place. He was able to come by later that morning and installed a new motor/opener in half an hour. I appreciate the quick service. He was very polite and professional and also improved the tracks and lubricated the doors for no charge.

The service went well. They replaced the two springs and lubricated the door as well. I called the company that originally installed the door and opener six years ago and the wanted $280!! I am very happy with the work that was performed.

I called Sousa's Garage Doors and the person answering the phone was pleasant, informative, and was able to give me an appointment that fit into my schedule. On the day of the appointment I showed up but the installer had already been there and left a message saying I missed the appointment. I called Sousa's and was advised that I had the appointment time correct and the installer was mistaken. The installer called me back, apologized, and got back to my house about an hour later. He was quick, the installation went smoothly, and he gave me an additional control panel at the door for no extra cost (trying to make up for being late?).

Our garage door broke on a Saturday. Sousa's was immediately responsive (via telephone), but all their technicians were booked and they could not come out until Monday. We told them we couldn't wait and they suggested ''Dale'' at All Safe Garage Doors, to whom Sousa's sends their overflow. We were extremely satisfied with Dale, who came out within an hour, performed the needed work to get us through temporarily, and we plan to buy a new garage door from him.

They did a good job and had prompt service.

I called him to make an appointment. He called me and left messages on my answering machine first thing the day the work is due to be completed. Came over, explained to me what he was going to do, installed the two springs, lubricated the two springs and away he went. I couldn't be happier at the quality and professionalism of his work. And, this was $30 less than the other best quote.

The appointment was at noon, but the worker showed up at 8 am. He did a great job anyway.

It was an excellent experience. An estimator (installer) came out the next business day after my initial phone call and gave a written quote on work to be done and the cost. The work was scheduled for the next day. He arrived a bit earlier than expected and offered to help move items in the garage (that I was in the process of moving myself) so there'd be a clear working space. He was very helpful, friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. His price was about 25% cheaper than several other estimates I received on the phone, and I'm sure the quality of his work was equal to or superior to the competitors. I picked this company because of the straight A's it received from other consumers, and I was not disappointed in any way. It was an excellent experience and I'd recommend this company to anyone needing garage door services of any kind. An excellent business! Also included with this installation was a free keyless garage door entry keypad.

Very prompt response to the call. He explained in detail what needed to be done and gave me all the options with their pros and cons. Came over the same day and fixed the problem. He was the only garage door company that did not also try to sell me a door. Saved me over $1000! In fact, he urged me not to change the door as the one I had was perfectly fine except for a slightly bent portion which he fixed for free. Work was done professionally and site cleaned up very well. Overall, I'm extremely happy with his work.

Excellent. Worker was on time, courteous and very helpful. He quickly assessed the problem (door wasn't moving) and set to work replacing rollers and oiling the hinges. The door works better than ever at minimal cost. Worker also gave me instructions on how to keep the door in good working condition for the future.

They were on time or even a little early for every appointment, and everyone was polite and professional. The person making the estimate (Joe, Frank's brother) even painted a color swatch for us on the fly so we that we could choose the correct color for the door. It took about half a day to install everything. Our new door works well, and (according to my husband) is very well weather-sealed. The price is reasonable and would be even less if you don't want the thicker insulation. They have a showroom in Santa Clara so you can see samples before you buy.

We were very happy with this company. They offered us a better price than we could find anywhere else and we appreciated the honesty, helpfulness and professionalism that we experienced. We are very happy with our new door, and love the windows since we now have natural light in the garage.

Joe Sousa was available to come earlier than scheduled and called to ask if that was OK. I had made an appointment to have the broken spring replaced and had had another one replaced a few months ago. He gently suggested that I replace the remaining two old ones too, since they would probably go soon, but applied no pressure to do so. I had him do all 3. The work was done quickly and the workspace left clean. I am very satisfied.

The people from this company were very polite and pointed out a couple of areas that helped me choose the correct doors and also saved me money. They came out and did measurements and prep work before I ever actually committed. Great people. They were very fast with the installation process. The clean up was great and they took the time to go over everything with me. They were very polite and punctual. I couldn't of asked for it to be any easier to get this done.

My overall experience with this company was wonderful. They have outstanding people working for them. They clean up the mess after themselves and they had a great price. The workers were great. They have wonderful people working there and they did a great job. You just can't beat the quality and service that they provide.

$200 CHEAPER THAN EVERYONE ELSE FOR SUCH A SMALL JOB, BUT WAS CARING AND REACTIVE TO US AS IF IT WAS A BIG JOB. THE DOOR HAS NEVER WORKED BETTER. THEY EVEN IMPROVED IT!!
