Solar Panel Cleaning Specialists

I requested a quote for cleaning my solar panels, first by voicemail and then by email. Over a week later I have not even had a phone call back, let alone a quote. A total waste of my time.

Overall, the company performed and worked around my schdule.

I dealt with SRS entirely via email, which was convenient for me. I selected them because they were recommended by the company that installed the system (since that company does *not* do maintenance of the systems that they install). I dealt with Nora at SRS; she was *very* responsive to each of my messages, asked me such questions as she needed to ask before making a quote. I was very pleased that she paid attention to my various questions about what they would do, and she answered questions clearly and simply, which gave me confidence in allowing them to do their work without my being there, which was convenient since I work a significant distance from the house. I did go down today to look at the panels, once she notified me that they had finished their work, and they are certainly cleaner than they were before. If I have any quibble about the work, it's that I was hoping to get "service" or "maintenance" of some sort done on the hardware associated with the panels, because they had not been inspected in at least five years... however, I really have NO idea what to ask about in that regard, so I did not pursue that. Nora *did* say that they would "inspect" the system, but did not discuss what this might mean... I'm renting out the house (it was my parents' house until last February), and really want to leave everything well-maintained for the new tenants; I can only hope that the solar-panel system is working well; it would have been very reassuring for me if the SRS people had given me some feedback on that (like the company who checked out the furnace did). As for price, I have nothing to compare them against, except possibly the furnace service that I had done last week, which was comparably priced - that would have more meaning if I knew what "service" they had done (see previous paragraph). Anyway, overall, I will probably use them again for periodic maintenance of the system, mostly because it's hard to locate companies that do service on these systems; most searches only turn up installers - obviously, that's where the big money is! Update on 07/13/15: Well, apparently they've changed somewhat for the worst... I sent an email, but got no response (in the past, they responded to me quite promptly). So I then called on Monday mid-day; Nora answered the phone, acknowledged her name, but then hung up on me. When I called back, she just let it go to email... apparently they aren't interested in doing this business any more. (I notice that all the positive reviews, including my own, are more than two years old...)
