Description of Work: Half our home use to run on fuses. Kevin brought our home up to date. He pointed out to us previous errors made by another electrician and fixed them. He updated many of our circuits.

+ -1 moreKevin responded quickly to my initial call, and was able to schedule a 2-hour visit several days later to complete the work on the attic fan and do some minor work in the crawl space. At my request, he also checked out the attic and informed me that yes, there were many areas not up to code that needed to be fixed, not to mention that there were live wires in the attic - Yikes! He estimated an additional $700 to correct the outstanding issues. So, I asked him to please schedule additional time to address them, and he got me in 2 days later. He completed all the work as scheduled and per the estimate. I am much relieved to know that this is done and I don't have to worry. He also identified an area in my garage that needs the proper wiring as well as a GFCI outlet that would cost an additional $165 to complete. I will definitely have that scheduled as well, but it doesn't have the same priority as what I already had corrected. I am more than satisfied with what Kevin did for me and he will remain my electrician as long as I am in my home.
Description of Work: Although I typically rely on Angie's List for all repairs to my home, I had contacted Northwest Electric because the owner, Kevin Souza, was recommended to me by a close friend. Kevin's company is located close to my home in Santa Clara. Based on some work that my handyman as well as Pacific Coast Termite had recently completed for me, they had recommended that I have an electrician check out the crawl space under my home as well as the attic. My home, which I have owned for 4 years, was renovated prior to moving in and it did not appear that everything was up to code. I also needed my new attic fan reconnected to a function box in the attic.

+ -1 moreThe work done was really good & he did an excellent job. He got the job done right the first time & was very professional. When you use the company once, you just want to keep using them. He was on time & quick in getting the work done. He's an honest guy & I'd use him again.
