We shopped around for a few quotes, had folks come in to provide an in-home estimate and Ed was one of the ones we chose to call based on his Yelp reviews. Surprisingly he had no reviews on Angie's List. Ed provided the best quote that beat out the other three and we decided to go with him. It was not just the low quote he provided, he also seemed the friendliest and most easy going and more responsive of the others. It helped quite a bit that he also happened to be the owner and hence could provide an immediate decision on the price rather than having to go back and forth like the others did. On the day of the install, Ed showed up with his brother who helped put the glass in. They did a perfect, flawless job, and Ed seemed like a real perfectionist. We had a window lock from Amsco which was very difficult to install but Ed patiently took the time to call Amsco in front of us and have them help us with how to put the Amsco lock in. He also helped me replace some of the other Amsco Window locks I have around my house, and replace some of the screens as well. I really felt very comfortable with him and his baseball stories (he is a baseball coach) and the fact that he was very patient and helpful in doing some of the extras around the house that we had not discussed in our up-front quote. He also agreed to cut a piece of glass I had in my garage for free to place on top of my center table. Not once did I feel that he was being pushy or wanting to charge for the tiny extras. Overall I think he is a true professional and a great guy and if you want to get any glass, screens, doors installed in your house, you cant go wrong with Ed.
