De Anza Appliance handle residential appliance repair and maintenance on kitchen and laundry appliances and commercial laundry equipment. Ask about dryer, refrigerator, and whole house general maintenance. Dryers and refrigerators should be inspected and cleaned at least every other yearl. Appliances with plumbing should be inspected every five years. De Anza Appliance is factory authorized for repair of Electrolux, Frigidaire, Insinkerator, Lynx, True Residential, and Viking appliances and work on most other major brands including General Electric, Jenn-Air, Kenmore, KitchenAid, LG, Maytag, Samsung, Sub-Zero, Whirlpool, and Wolf.

Appliance Sales & Installation, Dryer Vent Cleaning. But ask us about referrals. Any appliance or other household repair or maintenance service we can't help with we have qualified referrals. De Anza Appliance does not work on Bosch and Thermador (aside from Dishwashers).

repair a Bosch Dishwasher
Description of Work: They were expensive an extra $50 for the house call. The guy came out and mis-diagnosed the problem. Then It was very difficult to schedule a return visit because he thought he needed a new part. The company would not send out an alternate repair guy to accommodate my schedule. I ended up fixing the problem myself over the weekend when I had time. Now they want to overcharge me again. I won’t use them again.

Checking the notes your appointment was abruptly rescheduled on Friday March 6th and pushed to Monday March 9th and then you cancelled the follow-up service to finalize the repairs. The only thing you are responsible is the initial service call or if you choose to finish the repairs the service call would be waived. I apologize we couldn't earn an all A's review with you. It looks like the technician couldn't duplicate the odors in your laundry at the time of service; it's tough to diagnose and remedy what can't be found. Sometimes that can be a plumbing problem from the drainpipe. Keep your eye on it. If you ever see backflow you'll want to snake the line or call a professional plumber to take care of that for you. Your technician advised using a washer cleaner Affresh monthly. That should help mitigate odors from inside the tub. One thing I'm a culprit from if you start a load of wash and leave it for the day or overnight in the summer season it can mildew and cause odors requiring a second wash. Be cognizant of moving through your laundry quickly. Front loading washers need a little extra care, put on some dish gloves and give the rubber door gasket a solid wipe-down with bleach once monthly and keep the door open between cycles. If you have additional questions about preventative treatment or if the odors recur and aren't coming from the drain-pipe please let us know, per our warranty we'll be happy to send another technician out to give it a no charge inspection over the course of the next 90 days. (removed member name), We haven't completed the service and parts are due in towards the end of the week. The quote was approved on 6/16 to order parts and proceed with the repair. If you are dissatisfied with the quote please let us know and you would only be responsible for the initial house call you have already paid; the parts ordered can be returned at no charge to you. Built-in appliances often need to be uninstalled and reinstalled to access some major components like the motor housing and creates a more costly repair than easier components that don't require uninstallation of the appliance. Even though this is a costly repair sometimes the replacement down draft cooktop and possible countertop modifications can be significantly more expensive if you would like to investigate some replacement options please check with University Electric and Airport Appliance with the cooktop's measurements or model # and they can give you bids for replacement if you would like to take that route. Please call in and ask for our Marketing Manager, Chris and we can go over different options. We want to make sure you are satisfied with the repair and you've exhausted all avenues of replacing the cooktop or looking to add an over the range venting assembly if you are dissatisfied with the cost in bringing your current downdraft cooktop to a full, working condition.

Description of Work: Service rep checked washer for water leaks after I found water on the floor. Diagnosis was that the washer and the drum were fine. I was told it could be a water valve but they would not do further work unless there was another leak. That was a month ago, and I have not had another problem.

David, Hope the washer and it's door boot is still up and running, make sure to run the Affresh cleaner about every 3 months, give that washer gasket a bleach bath with some dish gloves monthly, and keeped cracked between cycles. Those three steps should keep any washer boot mold and mildew free.

Description of Work: Our clothes dryer was making a horrendous banging sound. We called DeAnza Appliance and they came out the next day and fixed it within one-half hour. The technician had all the parts on his truck so he didn't have to waste time searching for them. It was a little expensive, but we have old Maytag washer and dryer machines which have been work horses and we hope to keep them for awhile longer. The technician was professional and seemed very knowledgeable. We would use them again if we have problems with any other appliances.

[Member Name Removed], Those old Maytag washer and dryers are champs. As strange as it sounds it's one of the few appliances built before 2000 we highly recommend our customers to repair rather than replace even with a higher repair bill. Though modern machines are much more energy efficient and have a ton of bells of whistles they retail for three times the prices and cost about twice as much to maintain over a shorter 12-18 year life span. Hope that dryer lasts another 20 years!

THE REPAIRMAN CAME WITHIN THE TWO HOUR WINDOW PROVIDED AND WAS ABLE TO REPAIR THE WASHER THAT DAY. HE ORDERED THE NECESSARY PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR ON THE DRYER. HE WAS FRIENDLY AND EXPLAINED THE REPAIR IN DETAIL THAT I WAS ABLE TO UNDERSTAND.

This small business is owned by a man, & he is very good at what he does. He was a real gentleman. He came out right away & fixed my dryer. He even had the part on hand so he didn't have to come back twice. I was very impressed with his service & I will definitely use them again.
