They diagnosed it really well, but we thought they were really expensive for the labor. The labor was $500 of the total. They weren't here more than 2 hours at the most. They had to come back twice, but we paid them a trip charge. We went to them because we needed someone right away when our fridge wasn't working, but we think they were the most expensive.

Our 9 year old fridge was acting up with water pooling up under the veggie bins, condensation in the freezer, and smallish ice cubes. They came out and fixed it in less than an hour, and did it on one day notice. The repairman was very expert and knew exactly what the issue was.

Phone was answered by the owner who set up an appointment at a convenient time. I felt good enough about the call to agree to hide a spare key for the tech to find. Diagnostics were completed and a part was ordered, and installed within a couple of days. This was in a vacant rental unit so i was not really concerned about time but it all was done promptly and professionally. This was about eight months ago and the oven continues to work properly. Arrived later than expected because of previous job delays. Service was courteous and professional. Very careful to explain pricing policies in advance.

Needed infomation on an Antique Electric Stove asto getting it repaired. De Anza could not help me in the repaires but was most helpful in leading me to the mfgr. of my stove. If ever I need any repaire service I would go to Da Anza. Al Lorenzen

When food in my freezer began to defrost, I called DeAnza Appliance to take a look at it and advise me if it could be repaired. Gus arrived as scheduled and got right to work. After checking to determine the exact problem, he ordered the replacement temperature control needed and told me he'd return as soon as the part arrived. DeAnza called later in the day to tell me the part had arrived and Gus could return in the morning to install it. By noon, the freezer was back to doing its job... Gus was pleasant and efficient.

Answered phone promptly, scheduled appointment same week, called before they arrived, were prompt and prepared to fix the problem. Was fixed within 30 minutes

They were very prompt, and good with follow ups. They are also good in diagnosing as to what is wrong. They were professional, responsive, and the quality of work was good. I had a very good overall experience with them.

They ve been prompt and came when they said they would. When it didn t work the first time they came again to remedy the problem. I thought that they were reliable.

It went great. The serviceman came within the window of time stated and was friendly and professional. My only regret is that I wish they had told me when I called with the error message the simple step of resetting the oven over the phone and I could have saved them a trip to my place as well as myself the $72 for the service call. I did not expect the call to be free but since no work was needed to fix the oven I thought $72 was a little steep (even when you factor in gas expense, the time they took to research the problem, etc).

These guys are wonderful! I bought a new Kitchen Aid refrigerator and a month later, it started beeping intermittently. KA sent company "A" out again and again and again - at least 4 times. They were horrible. Their tech's had no idea what to do besides saying, "Since it's not beeping, we can't do anything." or just blindly replacing parts. Since it was under warranty, I insisted on calling DeAnza. They actually called the KA tech support to figure out what the problem could be before coming out since the beeping was intermittent and usually does not beep when a repair person is out. They followed KA's advice and did some repair. It started beeping again so I called them. This time, one of them went online, did some research, and then called the KA tech support. He then came out and replaced the correct defective part. I admit that this was a difficult problem to resolve, but DeAnza impressed me so much by doing all the research before coming out, even though they knew that KA was paying for the repairs. I plan on using them on all of my appliance repairs once the warranty ends because I know their pro-active research before coming out will save me money.

Great service. The first phone contact gave a complete and accurate description of the process and the costs. We were lucky enough to get an appointment for the next day, and the service rep called 10 minutes before arriving at the house. Repairs were made quickly and we got a good explanation of what had gone wrong and how to look for it in the future. Very happy with the experience and would definitely use them again.

Initial contact was very responsive and helpful. Repair person (Gus B.) arrived the same day and quickly diagnosed the problem. A bad evaporator fan. He did not have the part so scheduled a return trip 1 1/2 days later. When he returned, he replaced the part and was gone in 22 minutes. I was very impressed with the entire process but felt it was expensive.

I was able to secure an appointment on two days' notice -- they were able to order the parts I needed and confirm the service time immediately. The employee who performed the repairs was friendly, straightforward and professional, explained the estimate items thoroughly and performed the repairs completely and efficiently. I would absolutely use this company again and recommend them to others.

They were the most expensive company, but I had to use them because they claimed that they were available. After they ordered the part, it would have been four more days before they could install it. That is why I opted to do it myself. I thought that it was a little awkward as to why they couldn't do the work, but he was friendly anyway. He was on time, knowledgeable, and he answered all of my questions.

They came out when they said they would and did the job correctly. I felt they charged me a lower price than what they estimated, which was great and is one of the reasons I would highly recommend them.

After calling another company on the List and having him honestly tell me he wasn't experienced enough to repair these machines, I called his recommendation. They told me they don't work on front loaders. I did NOT want to call Sears, so I turned to my neighborhood association email list. I was referred to DeAnza by a neighbor, and then came back to the List to see they were positively reviewed here as well. Unfortunately, the computer part took a week to get in, but that was beyond anyone's control. Once it arrived, they called to schedule an appointment window. Roger called in the morning to let me know when he would specifically come and he arrived promptly. He did the work as described for the estimate amount. Later that day I noticed the rubber seal was torn. They had someone come right out the next morning to replace that, waiving the service call charge.

This is the third time I have used them. I asked for Peter McConnell, the service technician, by name. I have been extremely pleased with his competence, professionalism, cheerfulness, (and I usually see him toward the end of his day!) and overall attitude. He always arrives on time, has what he needs, and listens to my description of the problem. If I tell him what I believe the problem is over the phone, he assumes that I know what I'm talking about, and brings the necessary parts; he doesn't assume I'm just a know-nothing homeowner. His professionalism makes me very comfortable having him in my home.

Outstanding. The most professional service I have experienced in years, and trust me, I have a lot of projects going on.

Peter called to tell me when he would arrive, worked quickly and quietly, had all the necessary parts with him at the time, and was extremely pleasant throughout. When we made a follow-up call, the same repairman came back without any charge, due to DeAnza Appliance's 90 day warranty.

The phone contact was very pleasant. The owner was very personable and understanding on the phone. We made a short scheduled appointment for Saturday morning. The technician was extremely qualified and knowledgeable. He called us before he came and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable on all of our appliances and gave us sound advice on maintenance of our dispenser after he fixed it. He was very personable and responded to all of our questions. His work was quick, neat and efficient. It was obvious that they have a well run business. They are definitely on our call list for large appliance repair in the future.

Did not need to have repair done, but preliminary phone contact was very positive. The person I spoke to was very helpful in helping to diagnose my refrigerator problem.

Roger arrived at a reasonable time and was done within an hour. Price was a little stiff, but he had come prepared with possible parts needed in his truck.

Roger was great, and I will call him again if and when I need any appliance repair work.

I have used them several times in the past. I have never had any problems with them or with the things they have fixed. The technician had the part on hand and came out right away to fix it. They have always been able to fix any problem Ive had - no matter what brand or kind of appliance.
