Description of Work: Bought a notebook computer in to have diagnosed, the internet ac/dc power failed. The technician did various tests and determined the problem was the DC input jack inside the computer.

+ -1 moreMy experience in general was very good. I've used Central Computers in the past before. It was pretty simple to deal with them. I just brought the computer in and explained the issue. They fixed it and I picked it up.
Description of Work: They cleaned my computer of viruses and other stuff that was slowing my computer down. My computer had been getting progressively slower, maybe because I downloaded something or visited the wrong website. It got really unbearable how long I would have to wait to open a program or turn on the computer. When I got the computer back, it was a great deal faster, which has really made using my computer more enjoyable.

+ -1 moreThey were great. They took the old hard disk out, put it in a USB enclosure so I could connect it to another machine and pull off the data to my other machine. They even suggested a USB enclosure that was on sale, which was very nice. Oh yes, the techs were courteous and polite and handled my questions very patiently. This is the best computer service experience I've ever had.
Description of Work: They recovered data from a hard disk that had failed such that I couldn't boot the machine.

+ -1 moreThe DVD drive keeps damaging disks when I try to copy a disk. I took the PC in and they said the bearing of the motor is defective. I ended up replacing the DVD drive.

+ -1 moreI took my non-functioning computer in to be diagnosed. They found that the hard drive was not working and could not be salvaged. They replaced the hard drive and reinstalled windows.

I know a little about computers but not much. They did not try and charge us for something that did not need to be fixed.
