Excellent experience. We did a lot of research before narrowing down our choices to American Vision Windows and another company. We visited the showroom in Anaheim and talked with sales rep Tandia Johnson. She answered about a gazillion questions and showed us the various windows we could choose from. The showroom was great for us because we were able to examine the manufacturing quality (the 45 degree mitered corners are the big tip-off) and check the locks, railings and screens. We then went to another showroom, Home Depot and Lowe's and compared quality. The decision was easy - Anlin windows are far, far superior to anything else on the market. Tandia came to our home to measure and give us a quote. The price was exactly where we thought it should be. Also, Tandia was knowledgeble about the building code in our city and made sure we chose the correct window type to comply with the code. The installers were awesome: on-time, courteous, fast, clean and efficient.

They did do a good job and my windows are a nice fit however due to the laws in San Francisco, they quoted me the wrong price. What I mean is that my home is 100 years old, so the windows being replaced were suppose to be of wood not vinyl. I had to make a trip to city hall to get that changed. The reason I might not hire them again is because their quote was much lower than the actual price.

I had the service person come out to evaluate my windows and doors. He was late but very apologetic. He measured everything and promised to get me pricing the next day. Then he called to tell me that he didn't have the full quote ready. 2 WEEKS later, I had to call and ask for the quote. The receptionist left me a message that the quote was $4000. When I called back and asked for a written quote, the serviceman told me that he had ''lost'' my dimensions and would have to come out AGAIN to remeasure everything. I didn't end up going with this company because my experience so fundamentally violated all the values that they list on their website.

The workers arrived on time, put down protective coverings on all floors and surfaces near the windows. They worked very professionally, repaired the outside stucco where needed, and installed the windows to our satisfaction. The team was friendly, the foreman answered all my many questions during installation and we were happy with their work. When a problem with a roller occurred after about a month, they came out right away and replaced the part. There have been no problems since. They claimed they were the best at installation, and they offered a competitive price. They showed up late or missed scheduled appointments and didn't demonstrate work before putting them in. They used ''make shift'' wood because they ''forgot'' the required wood. They covered the ''seep holes'' and had I not had 2 handyman come by for another reason, the windows would have leaked and ruined the walls and possibly floors of my house. They did come and fix them after my complaint, but I had to yell and scream and tell them how to do their profession more than once. I would not recommend them.

The company was exceptional! The workers were professional, punctual, honest, clean and generally terrific! The sales person, Rodney was also fabulous. Not only did he give me a very competitive bid, he stayed in contact with me throughout the process to make sure everything was delivered and in place as I expected. Rodney ,also helped me get permission from the HOA for this project as mine was the first house in our townhouse community with new windows. I have recommended this company to others already.
