Description of Work: They've been repairing our sinks. They also fixed some irrigation stuff for us and a fountain pump.

Description of Work: I have found my new go-to plumber. I was having trouble getting my usual plumbers to call back &/or find time for my smaller job. A good friend gave us Steve's number and he was able to come out the next day. Steve was a couple minutes early, and from the time he arrived to the time he left, he was very professional, efficient & courteous. He put a new faucet in the garage (for the set tub next to the washing machine). He showed me the new faucet he intended to use before he started, to be sure it suited me. He had to saw the old one off, yet he had a new faucet installed in about an hour, which was much faster than I had expected. When he finished, he asked me to come check to see if I was satisfied with his work (I was!) Then he replaced a two-handle faucet in our master bath (the old one was leaking profusely and I had another one waiting in the wings that matched our dressing room faucet). This took a bit longer because the sink came loose from the vanity (the original contractor didn't do a good job installing the sinks - the same thing happened 10 years ago when the dressing room faucet was replaced). He did a very professional job, cleaning up the tile on the vanity as well as the sink itself (there was a lot of hard water build-up on it). When Steve finished, he again asked me to check his work. Bottom line is that I will call Steve first for all future jobs. I still like my previous plumbers, but I like Steve even better.

Description of Work: He fixed a toilet that was leaking into the bowl, something that had been cause by a handyman fixing a different problem. That handyman refused to come back and fix his mistake in any sort or reasonable time frame, so I called Alfred Williams instead. He was kind, professional, reasonably priced and sorted it out. I would definitely call him back for other plumbing problems.

Description of Work: A leak occurred behind the shower wall, wetting the sheetrock. Steve of Alfred Williams Plumbing quickly found the problem to be a leak at the joint of the shower arm and water supply line. He replaced the shower arm as well as the old existing handle stems and escutcheons. All work was of professional quality and at a reasonable price. Steve will be my first call for any future plumbing problems.

Description of Work: I contacted Alfred Williams plumbing after calling many of the plumbing highly rated plumbing business on Angies List. I needed to have a blocked bathtub drain cleared in my tenants bathroom. Other business charged between $125 and $175 as a minimum charge just to come out. One charged a flat rate of $250 for drain clearing. I called on a Thurs. and none could come before Tues. Then I called Steve at Alfred Williams. He returned my call within 5 minutes and could come out the same day. He said he did not charge just to come out but only for work done. As it turned out that the drain was not actually blocked at all but that the tenant did not how to disengage the tub drain! Steve was very pleasant about it and I insisted on paying him something for coming out. I just called today about another plumbing problem and again got a prompt call back. He will be here tomorrow at a time that is convenient for me. I recommend him without hesitation. He is highly rated on yelp and in Bay Area Checkbook as well!
