Description of Work: Able replaced several windows in my home which were double paned and had breached. The installer who did the work measured, ordered and installed five windows with no problems at all. He was courteous and very punctual -coming at the beginning of the time window (no pun intended) he had given instead of at the end, as often happens!

Description of Work: Abel Glass and Window just installed my windows and patio door. To say they were professional would be an understatement. From Eric's initial visit and subsequent estimate, every aspect went perfectly and in a timely manner. The cost was actually well below the one I received from another highly respected company. I went with Abel because of personal referrals and the Best of The Bay ranking them " Number One " three years in a row. The lower cost was an unexpected bonus. There were no surprises or delays. The installers arrived on the planned day and did an amazing job. The crew was extremely competent, knowledgeable and conscientious. They did an excellent job of removing discarded materials and cleaning up. I have never had such an efficient team of contractors who took pride in a job well done. I have already referred several friends to Able knowing that they will not be disappointed. In these days when hard work and dedication are things of the past Able Glass runs an ethical and value based company. I am so happy to have found them!

Description of Work: They provided two patio windows and a garden window.

Description of Work: I ordered a 6" window for my kitchen, which arrived in the showroom before I had made arrangements for installation, which was to be done separately from my order at Able Glass. Unfortunately the glass had to stay in the showroom for one month, due to a delay getting the installation done. Teri Nathanson (on your recommended list) turned out to be unreliable, never showing up for an appointment, and making several excuses for not being available. I should have gone to another source, but it was getting close to my kitchen remodel, and I thought since he was on your recommended list I would be okay...which was a big mistake. Thank goodness the owner of Able Glass came up with an alternative contractor to install the window. He went out of his way to get the appointment on very short notice. The job will be done in a week or two. I am very grateful to Eric Holder for making the necessary arrangements.
