He was great. I couldn't have asked for a better agent. He always returns calls immediately. We had sold a house and then we're going to buy another one, but then the real estate market started going crazy, so we sat back and rented for awhile and he hung in with us the whole time. He's so patient.
Description of Work: I bought real estate through them.

See above. We would suggest that sellers and buyers have a great working relationship with their real estate agent because there has to be trust on both sides. Purchasing a home or most real estate is usually the largest purchase most people will ever make and something you will live in day after day - year after year. It's crucial that you are comfortable with your agent and he/she with you. If for some reason that is not the case be honest and notify the agent that you will be working with someone else. I believe there are laws regarding properties your agent has already shown you, but I believe if you're uncomfortable working with someone you're probably wasting each other's time. I interview our doctors also and I have had some surprising reactions. This is my opinion. I think it saves everyone time and alot of hassle.
Description of Work: Stu Morse worked with my husband and I for more than two years until we found the right home for us. We never, not once, felt that Stu was becoming tired of showing us more properties than I can count. We made offers, but in this market we felt, and Stu agreed, that sometimes people would get into bidding wars and we would opt out because it didn't make any business sense to make an offer unless we knew without a doubt we were going to live in some of these properties until our demise. Even then we weren't sure we'd break even by making offers purely on an emotional basis. Stu always made sure we not only really liked the property, but that we stayed objective. We think Santa Barbara is one of the most beautiful places in the world to live. It seems unlike most other real estate markets. While other markets were falling fast Santa Barbara held fairly steady for awhile. We had just sold another home (before the market fell) and were going to rent for a short time and buy again. Then real estate in our country became unpredictable so we decided to sit back for awhile to see what would happen in Santa Barbara. We are now purchasing eight years later. So when we say Stu was patient and attentive that's an understatement. In fact he seemed to get more determined as time went on. We could go on and on but we're sure that who(m)ever is reading this understands that we feel fortunate to have Stu Morse for our Realtor. Stu is honest, dependable and always returned our calls the same day - usually within the hour. He kept us informed of listings in our price range and never made us feel like "oh no, not them again". He has a positive -never give up til you find just what you want - attitude. Believe us when we say there were days when we didn't feel like that at all. Then we'd meet Stu Morse at the property and his energetic, positive attitude would turn things around.. (Just what we needed,) We purchased a home for less than we thought we'd have to pay and in the exact area we wanted to live. We feel very fortunate and we thank Stu for doing such an outstanding job and making it look effortless -paperwork and all.
