We had a complete new driveway installed. They removed the old asphalt driveway that looked horrible and made a beautiful, new paver-stone driveway. I was impressed by the amount of work required to do the job. Sergey and Marlee are very "hands on, hard workers". Additionally, I was impressed by the crew, those guys worked their butts off. I did not see anyone standing around, wasting time. I think the price was very fair considering the amount of work involved. They filled up two roll off dumpsters, hauled off all of the old stuff and made the space looke new and beautiful. They were on schedule for entire project. I thouroghly enjoyed working with Marlee and Sergey, they are good people. After it was all done, we noticed some small problems with some pavers. They came back and took care of it, no questions asked. Mark Hudson

HOMEOWNERS BEWARE!!! Santa Barbara District Attorney's office is presently investigating this "firm". Santa Barbara Paving Stone People, Inc. completely disregard their contract with you - whatever contract you may have with them. Right after Doug Bower cashed our advance on contract check last Friday, August 14, 2020, his crew walked off to another "more profitable" job with their equipment. Monday, August 17th morning, Marlee and Sergey, the supervisors, came and took the advertisement sign posted in front of our gates, while leaving all the rubbish, trash and numerous large 6'+ concrete rebar debris in place, which Marlee and Sergey promised all debris will be cleaned out in no time the day before. Contractor also left our driveway blocked with the rocks we purchased on Contractor's behalf for the synthetic grass area planters; i.e. even fire trucks cannot pass through in an emergency. In total, we advanced Contractor $30,000 out of $46,529 contract amount. There appears to be a sinister pattern of taking clients' advance money and move on to the next victim.

It was a 2 week project. They put pavers on the driveway, 2 patios, retaining walls, 2 paths and the stair way from the street on to the patio. The quality of work and the attention to detail; they were good with that. They also listened to our comments and made adjustments along the way as we changed our minds.
