+ -1 moreCharlie does high quality work.He redid the light fixture on the bean so that it would hold the extra weight of these very large fans. He balanced the fans and they don't mke a sound. He set up remote controls. We felt very safe and privileged to have him work in our home. perfect job...cleaned up after himself.

He came the evening before to scope out the work, and to be sure he had all the parts that were necessary. He came the next day when he said he would and finished the 4 jobs we had for him in 1 1/4 hours. Hid hourly price was very reasonable. I would recommend him to everyone.

+ -1 moreWill only recommend Charlie at Republic Lighting Services for electrical repair for any of my friends or co-workers. He's a one man company that's been in business in the same location for 35yrs. He knows his business, explained to me in basic understandable terms and is trustworthy.
Description of Work: Charlie fit me in on the same day that I phoned him, after regular work hours and didn't charge extra. 1/2 the electricity in the kitchen had gone out, as well as the range. He problem solved and had it taken care of within 10min. Repair of outside motion detector light that hadn't worked since I bought the house (had just been re-modeled when purchased). He ruled out all possibilities but one, which involved testing the connecting wires in the attic. Because it was so late, made a follow-up appt a couple of days from now to climb into attic. While checking breakers saw that the old fuse box had been left. Cleaned it out and cut long cold wires that had been left hanging from my roof. Charlie had been recommended by my insurance agent. The funny thing was that my realtor had wanted Charlie to come do some repair work at her house that day. Small world...
