Description of Work: Phoned Joel's this am for an estimate for roof repair and new gutters. Randy, the estimator, agreed to meet me today and was prompt. I had one estimate that was astronomically high, so felt pretty strongly that I would go with Joel's. Randy hadn't been here 15min when Joel phoned him. Randy didn't even have time to get out of my hearing range. (I was in my front yard). Randy never raised his voice and he seemed to be repeating himself. It was clear that Joel was arguing with his employee; he had kept him on the phone for between 15 and 20min. I asked for the phone and told Joel that we had not finished yet. He basically called me "lady" and told me to go on and do whatever I needed to do; he said "it was none of my business, that he was speaking to his employee." I told him the ladder was still up against the house, so he was now wasting MY time. I told him I wouldn't consider doing business with him because he was so rude. He was really ugly and yelling. He phoned me back a few minutes later; missed the call so phoned him back. I really thought he was going to apologize and say he had had a bad day or something. Instead, he apologized for his "new" employee. I told him I didn't have a problem with his employee, that I had a problem with the way HE spoke to me. Told him I would be writing a negative review on Angie's List. He said he'd sue me for slander. Really???This guy runs a business?

Description of Work: Replaced some termite damaged decking, applied Boracare wood preservative per my request, rolled on high quality underlayment, installed new attic vents, installed roof, and gutters.

Description of Work: Joel's Roofing & Gutter Co, Inc. came out about 3 weeks ago and gave me an estimate to tear off and replace two of my roofs.

Description of Work: I had OLD wood shingles on my home. Joel's Roofing & Gutter removed the old shingles and replaced it with 30 year composite shingles. They also added two vents to the roof, metal flashing and completed repair of two dry rot areas on my roof. Joel also installed an entirely new gutter system on my home. Joel's Roofing & Gutter and did the project from start to finish, i.e.: Tear off old roof, disposal, repaired two water damaged wood areas, installed the new composite shingles, installed a brand new gutter system, and clean up!
